The third volume from the Bednar collection taken from Easton, PA to the Southern Tier of NY, Enola, Reading and Rutherford in the late 60's/early 70's. . Footage includes many scenes of fallen flag railroading action. Subject railroads include: Lehigh Valley, Reading, Central RR of NJ, D&H, Penn Central.
Digitized and edited from super 8mm film by John Pechulis Media.
Color: approximately 55 minutes total run time. Synchronized sounds, background music and narration by Mike Bednar.

This one’s a gem, especially because it has footage of a Reading Lines Industrial Brownhoist crane. There’s another Bednar video showing a Reading Industrial Brownhoist crane, prior to the green and yellow re-paint job, that was called to the rescue of a derailment, can’t recall the location but it was adjacent to a restaurant/bar by the name of Brady’s. I can’t get enough of the Industrial Brownhoist cranes but Mr. Bednar did an outstanding job on capturing some rare footage of some of them. Thank you. Another A+++++

WOW! I don't think I've EVER seen a switch engine going as fast as that guy at 3:26 was! I'd bet the timetable limit for a lite switcher was more like...30 tops? These videos are great! The narration really helps those of us who aren't from that area.

Wonderful footage. It seems like folks were happier in those days. Thanks for capturing "the good ol days". Oh yeah, that hi-speed switch engine was something to see. At first I thought it was fake. I guess it's do what your man enough to do. Thanks.
