So @sally_forth had a repair problem that cold only be solved by driving 46 mile so off we went!

I'm going to have to pare down an awful lot of tools. My Dremel has already made the cut, (pardon the pun) by virtue of it's small size and versatility. But maybe I should throw in a few grinding stones for my cordless drill. I have hole saw bits, but those are specialized and I can't imagine needing to put enough additional holes in my RV to justify the space they'll take up. More things to think about.

Very enjoyable video.... like a lot of podcasts. The faces are lovely but not as much the focus as the information and conversation. Bonus: sweet puppy faces and fluffy ears ;-)
I can seat 7 comfortably in my Travel Trailer. Couch and dinette. ❤ I enjoy having the freedom of a separate vehicle that I can travel around in and go sightseeing, grocery shopping or whatever I have to do and keep my Camp intact.
Thanks for an interesting video! I have a 30 ft class c and flat tow a Honda CRV. I could not handle staying in one place without a car. Unhooking/hooking the rv is a big deal, so parking it while I do day trips or just go the store is what I opted for. I can not back up with the car on the back so I’m very careful when I stop for gas to make sure I have an forward exit. 😅
I always enjoy your videos. I was thinking about the ".. being stationary for 2 weeks vs getting out every day..." portion of your conversation. Have you ever considered getting a (foldable) e-bike? Of course do your research; they aren't too expensive, have (lockable) removeable batteries that minimize their weight, most have a range of 30-40 miles. Plus, there are some great accessories like saddle bags, handlebar baskets and lightweight trailers.
I'm an XL man, my bike is actually one of the not so powerful ones and my friends and I can EASILY do 25-30 miles over paved streets and gravely desert terrain. A bit of advice, make sure it has 3 modes: pedal only, pedal assist, and throttle only, and get the 4in Fat Tires.
For a clever way to store them, do a TH-cam search: foldable e-bike in container (get 2 containers, discard the lids and make the 2 containers into a lockable clam shell).
