Who was winning out of Jack and Pitbull though? New Jack never mentioned that fight in any shoot interview

New Jack probably fired off quick on him. Pitbull 2 was sauced up huge, but I imagine he wasn’t very fast or did a lot of street fighting.

I’m glad nova kept it real! What he’s saying about New Jack is the problem IN GENERAL, that black folks have 1. just being us and 2. for other people not minding their business. You call Jack and the basketball player Steven Jackson and Terrell Owens crazy but white people seem to think that black folks are just supposed to take things and let things slide because YOU GUYS say so. We are not obligated to take peoples bullshit! We’re not! They call Jack crazy but not Brock Lesnar who was wrestling and fighting on a commercial airplane no less and could’ve killed hundreds of people who had nothing to do with him and mr. perfect’s not nonsense! Yet he’s not crazy huh? In almost every case that they deem someone black “crazy”, there’s usually an incident that led up to an altercation but they label the black person crazy. Why didn’t they call Kurt Cobain crazy? He blew his fucking head off! Why don’t they call Jim Morrison crazy for all his fucking exploits? What does it take to get a fair look at a situation where it’s someone black involved in it? They let white people slide multiple times with multiple offenses until FINALLY they say, ok they are crazy. Fucking Lindsay Lohan was high driving down the expressway on the wrong side before they finally said okay she’s nuts. They don’t say Paris Hilton is nuts and this bitch fucked every man and did every drug and was just out there and they said oh she’s just a socialite. No that bitch is bat shit! Stop labeling people because of their skin color and look at their actions when they go through life daily unprovoked. No one had a problem or started an issue with Benoit and look at what the fuck he did! They even covered up the signs and didn’t let ANYONE KNOW about all the signs that they saw that something wasn’t right. Get off the racial thing and look at what the fuck is really going on. White black or whatever if you can’t operate day to day on your own without doing questionable things then yo ass is probably nutty in the head!

Interesting examples... With the exception of Brock I think you'd find that most people of all races would say that every single one of those people is absolutely nuts. Either way, Jack was a complicated individual. But that was also part of the work. His brand was undoubtedly enhanced after ECW in his Indy career by the legends of his craziness. Now, am I saying New Jack's entire character was a work? Not a chance. I think the characterization of any person of any race who pulls out a knife and starts shoot stabbing someone in the ring as crazy is probably right on the money. I'm not sure it has to do so much with race as the fact that some of Jack's antics were absolutely nuts and nothing we, as wrestling fans had ever seen before (and won't see again). But it's what made New Jack, New Jack. He even admitted to taking the rumors of him killing people as a bounty hunter, although absolutely false, as something he ran with because it enhanced the work. He also admitted his character was designed to generate heat, in large part based off the fact that he was a degenerate "gangsta" that would piss off white people. And it worked flawlessly. The OJ Simpson promo being the best example. In other words, the racial labeling you're talking about is exactly what he wanted to generate heat in the business as a heel. Any "racial labeling" you're talking about related to New Jack was exactly the gimmick. All that fed into the work and his character. And he was incredible at doing it. Either way, for better or worse, all that craziness was a huge part of the reason we loved him. May he rest in peace.
