I hope you got that thing fixed or got rid of it. Dangerous as he!! holding the Chain brake Back to keep the Chain running. It should do that on its own so your hands are safe behind it.
The saw cuts great. You held the brake bar the entire time. Your right foot and leg was so close to the front of the chain saw bar as you where cutting that log. I was a little bit concerned about what would happen if your saw kicked back just a little bit. Please be careful with a chain saw that has so much power. Stand in a better position that is away from the front of your saw. Above all, be careful.
22 " bar is too big for a 52cc saw. If you have to hold onto the chain brake to keep it from engaging then something is wrong. Funny how Americans love to rip and complain about China but you can't buy their crap fast enough because yall are to cheap to buy quality.
@@dirkdiggler9379 buy one quality saw for $500 that does that job for your entire life or keep buying a $200 POS every 5 years to limb those same 2 trees every year. Most people don't know enough about saws to make the right decision. The rest just suck at math.
I know what you mean. Im American and I actually just try to be realistic with my views on value. They saws are an amazing value and so are many things that come out of China. I love quality and I love cheap. You will not here me ripping into Chinese products.
@@woodnewf3847 I understand your feelings towards this type of product. I however, own quite a few high end saws and 2 of these exact units. They are copies of a Zenoah/Redmax G4500 and are generally 52 or 58cc (stroke size). Depending on which Chinese factory produced the saw, the quality is all over the place. The crankshafts and pistons are made in Taiwan, shipped to China and various factories produce the cases and other parts. Most big box stores sell clamshell saws (mostly plastic) unless you upgrade to a few of the actual commercial grade units they sell. The Zenoh/Redmax copies have actual metal cases just like the original versions. These units are just as good if not better than any Poulan, Homolite (or any other name that used to be decent and had the rights to the name purchased and then reused for brand recognition without the old quality) at Lowes or Home Depot. Anyone that has a single tree or a few limbs to cut that buys a new $800 Sthil or Husky is a fool. Most users buy the saw, use it once or twice and then t sits in their garage for another 4 years until they may try and use it again. By that time, the ethanol has destroyed the carburetor and in most cases never starts. This would happen on an $800 saw also. The cost of labor and parts in both cases is more than the original cost of the cheap saw. There is a no brainier for the average homeowner, as you will spend the same amount either way. With that in mind, these "throw away" saws make complete sense, from both a fiscal and logical point of view, UNLESS, you plan to cut a decent amount of wood every year. I use a saw all year round and have beat the crap out of my Chinese saws. Other than garbage chains and having to rework the oil pumps on both units, I have easily gone way beyond getting my monies worth out of them, AND, I saved the wear and tear on my Sthil and Echo units that I would have gotten by cutting frozen logs covered in dirt or when it is raining and I can't stop working. I like buying American made products, but I also like to eat food and pay my bills and these Chinese saws are one way to accomplish that goal.It is also fun to mess around and mod these things to get more hp out of them. If you screw it up making the ports bigger you are not out an expensive 372xp or other big dollar saw.
Damn he makes me nervous with a saw dude ur foot is right under the not only that saw pants or chaps may be a good plan learn how to use a saw and saw safety
You, sir, are an emergency room visit waiting to happen. Oh, and, you don't purchase something 'offline'. Off line is the condition that causes the inability to use your computer to purchase something 'online'.
My advice is to put down that saw and never take it in your hands again. Its like driving a car without breaks while sitting on the passenger seat haha
It's the glamour that keeps us coming back.
Nice lookin chainsaw cooing and singing seductive song trips my trigger

You need slightly more fuel in the HIGH end

I'm an American and I agree. It's in our blood.
