Not trying to sound like a hater... but #1 that rattling you hear is the fuel filter inside the tank that's connected to the fuel line, they're not stationary filters like airfilters, the fuel filters literally dangle from the fuel line and rest on the bottom of the gas tank. #2 the cover was off because some companies had complaints from customers that they had to remove the cover and install the bar before using the first time, when they buy something they want it ready to go as fast as possible, so leaving that cover off solves that potential issue. #3 the things you call "bolts" are actually nuts that go on the bar studs to hold the clutch cover in place and allow the kickback / chainbreak bar to be in the right position for the kickback safety feature to work properly, when you put those nuts back on the bar studs it's really important you make sure the stud nuts are good and snug or else when using the saw the vibration of the engine and the clutch will work those nuts loose and eventually unscrew themselves and fall off like what happened in your situation., but also you do not want to over-tighten the nuts on the studs or else you could strip out the threads and that is a big headache to fix.... so none of that was the saw's fault lol.. just a little operator error. but it's all good, i was naive about that kinda stuff for years too when i first started messing with chainsaws

@rigorocks23 by this comment, I believe she knows more about chain saws than you. Loctite on bolts you are continuously removing, to tighten the chain. Installing the cover properly and tightning it. Would of solved her issue.
The cover stud bushing does not have a large enough outer diameter so the bar nut makes contact with a too small surface area. Not enough friction and it ends up coming loss, I think?🤔
It looks like the problem is the chain brake is engaged on the clutch cover, so the brake ring is too tight to slip over the clutch. Take off the clutch cover, pull the brake handle back, and it should fit over the clutch.
That noise is probably a fuel filter rattling in the tank. Seems like a decent homeowner saw for someone who runs a tank a year or so. Impressive price.

😳💁 Hmmm... for $68 that went pretty well. 👍 The rattle is probably the klunker fuel pickup design. Basically a big brass fitting at the end of the soft flexible fuel line is heavy so the fuel pickup is always at the bottom in any position... it's a pretty reliable design and is used on aircraft and some race boats. I would like to see you see that up with a small detail bar and see how long it lasts before a rebuild is needed. I've been watching some of the Temu boat outboard videos and they are surprisingly reliable engines, just poorly designed mounts and props on some models. I'm glad it worked so well! 👍👍👍
Does it have an ez start that’s impossible to drop start? Btw it’s pretty much the same saw at the pinkway. Just another Chinese clone. You have to finesse that cover on. Make sure the chain brake is disengaged when mounting. It will go on correct you just need to play with it. The throttle lock is to help starting it, since it has no primer bulb.
Even if the bar nuts came off despite you tightening them appropriately, this is easily fixed with lock nuts or even just lock washers (less convenient) from the hardware store. So it would still be a $69 bargain chain saw.
I've owned two of these China Made chainsaws. Yes the price is cheap, and some of the plastic is cheap. But they still ran well, and you can run 40:1 through the saws. I used them to cut large cedar logs and wore the out eventually. Thing to remember these saws are just like old style Husquvarna, Homelight, Stihl, just in China. What China does is purchase US Patents that have been discontinued or expired and then using those plans to build their chainsaws. Both saws I have are 63cc (they stated) They have lost of power and cut decent with the supplied chain. But I changed out the bar and chains to Oregan bar and chains. The saws cut great. The saws are basically a throw away after you wear it out. Now if you can match the saw to the US version, you can purchase replacement parts. So for a $100 bucks or so, you use it and wear it out, scrap it, (keep for parts) purchase another like model and keep on cutting. As for the nut coming off, it didn't appear that you had it tightened down enough. The plastic cover, yes that discharge piece of rubber will be off a little bit. All of mine were, and I just trimmed it down and it worked. The biggest issue I have is the chain oiler adjustment screw will leak. I done a lot of different ways of fixing it, and it still leaks.

Buy it with a credit card and dispute the charge. It happens and most companies respond better once you have lodged the official complaint with the CC company.
If you know so much about chainsaws you would know those saws have there place and they're not bad for the money. Tighten the nuts up good and they don't fall off. I have that saw and they're decent. Shop like a billionaire that lives on the other side of the country! True story... We live in NC and Temu addressed our package to somewhere in Long Beach, CA. 5000km away. Over two months later we haven't gotten a refund or a replacement. They suggested we check with our neighbors on the other side of the country. The USPS can't give us the exact address so we can't even make the three day drive to retrieve our purchase. Shop like a billionaire that isn't concerned about the loss of nearly $100!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Buy it with a credit card and dispute the charge. It happens and most companies respond better once you have lodged the official complaint with the CC company.
It looks as if you are left handed? Just be aware of the kickback . 👍
So it does not kick back on right hand people ? 😂
The Proyama (zenoah) clone saws are actually decent
i gave you a like because oh the puppy dawg helping out
If you know so much about chainsaws you would know those saws have there place and they're not bad for the money. Tighten the nuts up good and they don't fall off. I have that saw and they're decent. Ive had it for 3 years and its used around the farm all the time. You must just love shelling out huge money for Stihl's all the time. If you want a tried and true brand name of a chainsaw with a company that sells an excellent product and actually will hold up you would go with Husqvarna.
In 2008, the newest Stihl production facility opened in Qingdao, China.
Interesting
Outstanding content!! You have totally inspired me!! Keep it up!
The question is - which one lasts longer - 10 "Professional" chainsaws or 1 stihl chainsaw 😅
That carb was not adjusted properly 😐
Seemed to cut ok until the nut fell off.like to see it used more after you do the fixes on it.
Definitely will get it running again and do more test here soon 😁😁👍
could you do a bullfrog someday?
China uses the old stihl design. Its actually pretty reliable.
Actually these are zenoah clones
Doesn’t seem to bad - I’d try it
