@@jordantractorvlogs7008 Didn't realize I had already commented on your video one other time LOL but thanks man. I'm looking to buy a 05-07 3 valve. I was told those are the best years of the V10 and they make around 365 horse from the factory. Any advice on things to watch out for or fuel additives to use etc? I typically use Cataclean every now and again (never seen anything work as good as that stuff) but I'm always open to listen to other people's experiences!
After watching your and a few other videos, I've been convinced me to buy a fully restored 1965 wheel horse 855 to do some yard work and keep the driveway clear of snow. I'm very impressed at how much, even wet snow, these little tractors can push!
I have and use a 1970s GILSON flat twin 16 hp. THE vary drive that has been removed. For the tractor I have snow lower, plow, dosser blade, sickle bar, 42 INCH rear discharge mower deck and very heavy 40 inch rototiller. I would like to find the add on hydraulic lift because of the tiller weight.
Check to make sure the oil isn't contaminated with gasoline. If the needle and seat or float (carburetor) aren't working properly, the gas will overflow into the cylinder and air filter. The gasoline will leak past the rings into the oil inside the crank case, causing it to look over full. Sometimes this is due to a carb issue (needle + seat or float) or could be due to the mower being tilted (e.g., on it's side) for a while. If you asked the guy if he added oil and he said no, then I'd say this is a likely cause.
Yes I am aware. this situation was a customer adding oil to over fill it. The oil jug was laying next to it. Air filter also was changed when I arrived
I’ve never changed the oil in my push mower and it’s still running like a dream after over 8 years later. I’d buy a new one but that thing just won’t die
I change my oil once a season and my mower is now 24 years old. 20" Murray w/ a 3.5hp B&S "Classic" engine. Still fires right up on the first pull. Bought it at walmart in 2000 for $99.00

Changing the oil in your small engines not only saves massive internal damage but cools the engine down when using fresh oil while reducing friction.

I am SO glad that I live in the South where we do not salt the roads or have life-threatening cold.

Sounds great brother! I’ve got the same front tires on my 416-8.
Not a lot of Ford GT's.
