First of all, Hoovie bought his amazing wife a Range Rover L as a daily and Hoovie drives a busted old Range Rover sport from 2010ish. His wife has always been allowed to choose her favorite car of Hoovies fleet and drive it daily. She loved his Porsche Cayenne Turbo and she drove it until he sold it. She is also a full time mom while Hoovie is running around the country doing what he wants and working extremely hard. Every video his children are in, they are extremely happy and well behaved. Don’t ever say someone’s wife doesn’t work. This man loves his family. Go focus on your own issues.
I recently tried to buy a new Nissan Frontier Pro 4X and the dealer gave me a sales proposal with a $10,000 markup/market adjustment. I walked out immediately and told them they would never see me again. Tyler is right, please stop agreeing to ridiculous markups otherwise this will become normalized and we'll all be forced to accept it.
I agree with you 100% on the dealer thing. People need to realize they don't need it that bad. I've added numerous dealers to my "Never do business with" list and let them know exactly why. The only way this insanity stops is if more people do this.
Thanks for speaking out on dealer mark-ups. You are right. They only exist because people are paying them. Still, there are dealers around like the one you bought from that are choosing not to do the right-now money grab. We test drove a Mach-E recently at a dealer outside of Seattle. They said that they have chosen to sell them at MSRP. I respect that.
It’s not that dealers are marking up the cars the cars are actually worth the markup. Prices are high on cars right now luckily I’m not in the market to purchase a vehicle but it sounds like dealerships that are not marking up their cars are not supporting their sales people. I would be pissed seeing other dealership’s sales people making money while we’re selling cars at sticker when we don’t have to
Steve Lavender What other product has a MSRP? What other product does the store owner (dealer) not try to sell for as much profit as possible? "Dealer markup" will be with us as long as retailers try to earn as much as possible during strong economys. No one gives the dealer money during a recession when they are losing their asses.
@@bobnine cost is astronomical on carbon ceramics.. esp in inflated good ole USA. Less is more, the more pure of a car with no crazy add ons sometimes Carries way more value over time.. Car still means business and a sick buy.
I probably drove that car before you did (I work at Flat Rock Assembly where they're built). They're really extremely good cars for the price - and where can you buy a 760hp supercharged car which you can pretty much take to the track right out of the box for 80k? The seats you got in that one are the ones I would prefer - the Recaros are not terrible, but they're not quite as comfy as those, and they're bolstered enough to keep you in place without pinching your body in uncomfortable ways. The carbon fiber track pack and wheels are cool as hell, but at $5-7k PER WHEEL if you damage one, they're not practical for road use. I'm actually surprised you got it at MSRP, but we do build quite a few of them over here, so they're not really 'rare'. They are certainly fun though.

I love how the GT500s have the same headlight as my 2017 mustang. It makes mine still look relevant since they changed the headlight style from 2018 onwards on everything except the GT500s
@@chopdogrulz1337 Nope just to keep the carbon plastic front end. The 350 doesn't need more clearance it runs the same intake mani as a bullitt or mach one. Only know cause I have a 350.
I lost my mind one weekend about six months ago and bought a used 13,000 mile 2018 GT350. The car is my daily driver because I genuinely cannot stop myself from just wanting to drive it more. So big congrats on the purchase Hoovie. I know it seems impossible, but months from now you'll cherish it even more!
@@coreymunroe8073 I think Mustang as a brand wholly benefits from the muggle car sales. You’re safe. And good choice. My favourite car of the last few years was a 2015 comp orange PP Eco. Manual. Recaros. The thing felt like a BRZ in clown shoes. I bought it very low and sold when the market went nuts for used cars. I really want it back 🥺 Point being: nobody should sleep on a good Eco. It’s the everyman’s choice. Feel good about it 🙂.

Ford made great economy cars. I had a 2013 Fusion, first New car I ever purchased. Just traded it in 3 years ago with 180k miles, give or take. The little 1.6 ecoboost became one of my all time favorite engines. Even mated to an automatic, in a big sedan like a fusion, it still moved out of its own way just fine, and managed to stay in the 30s mpg. I added an open downpipe, and suddenly had fun turbo sounds when taking off lol. I got myself into an older 5.0, but again, I didn't hate the time I spent in my economy Ford car.
Nice purchase, Tyler. Now for the first warranty repair, I think there must be a missing cover on the back of the rear view mirror...I can't believe Ford would just leave the wiring/connector exposed like that.
Pretty sure they forgot the black wire loom that's usually on wires to mirrors....that one actually must have some communication in it due to number of wires....maybe in mirror back up camera?
The dealer group I work at refuses to do this nonsense and it makes me very proud to work for them. Our owner is ferociously against it. We just had a guy drive over 6 hours from PA to buy a TRX from us because his local dealer was charging a $10k markup.
He probably did not think about how the brain of a women work.. and also she will never forget about it he is now a finish guy even in 3 years she will constantly rmb him about it and the women brain is good to make you rmb what you did wrong but never when you did good.. i gonna wish him good luck !

Also, thanks for speaking out against the ridiculous dealer markups going on right now. I’m interested in a few of the new models arriving slowly now, but I’m disgusted by greedy dealerships asking for $2-10K over sticker for common cars. Not new Porsches or even Caddy Blackwings, but GTIs and the Civic Si. It’s crazy. People who paid thousands over MSRP will be kicking themselves in when the market inevitably readjusts.
Used cars are just as bad if not worse. I feel like I bought a used Camry just in time before prices went nuts. I got a 2017 Camry in March of this year for $18,999 with 33k miles certified used and I checked a couple of months later and now it's worth $24k. I was bored one day last month and checked the inventory of the dealer I bought my car from and they had a 2019 Camry certified used selling for $4k OVER MSRP. $4k!!!!!! I can't believe people are paying OVER msrp for USED cars!
@@MiTraFilipesoares I live in Canada and all our domestic pickups are going to buyers in the US. One of my co-workers just sold his loaded 2020 F-350 for UDS$5k more than he paid for it new. With the exchange rate the buyer in WA still got it for less than he'd pay locally.

Under MSRP?! Good for you Tyler. I know here in eastern Iowa some dealers had mark ups of $2000+ on new cars. But that did not last long at all. Iowans are notoriously cheap and just won't pay it.. Just stand your ground. Don't pay over MSRP for a new ride. Just don't do it! Way to go Hoovie!!

I've seen some of these GT500s marked up $30,000 to $50,000. In NY, most cars have a minimum markup of $5,000. New Tellurides and Mercedes SUVs are 10-15k.

I wanted to purchase a new TRX and the dealer wanted to add a 30k premium to the price tag…needless to say I did not purchase it…I can/will wait. As consumers we should all refuse to pay ridiculous markups…if we did the dealers would be happy to sell their inventory for a reasonable profit. I know I will remember how I was treated when this supply chain crap is over and will show my loyalty accordingly.
We just had a guy drive over 6 hours from PA to our dealer to buy a TRX from us because his local dealer was marking theirs up so much. We sold a truck and made a customer happy. To me that’s a lot more beneficial than trying to rip someone off for a quick buck.
I bought mine at invoice a few months ago. Had to drive a couple hours, but there are dealers out there that actually want to sell products. My hometown dealer has 3 just rotting on the lot because no one is willing to pay their ADM. One I think was built in January, it's almost a year old now.

I’d like to get a new car or truck…but with so many new EVs and a certain amount of uncertainty in the Market, I cannot decide which or what to do…? Contemplated ordering new Z06, or Cybertruck, or Lightning,…but, uncertainty in even World politics caused me to get the Uber reliable 2020 4x4 4Runner with 7k miles…I can always sell it and buy something more exciting when certainty in the Market returns… But as it is, I don’t like it. I want a V8 or electric. My current daily is an E55, just if I need parts in the future…I may be SOL. …and I have a 650 hp car tucked in the garage for special days…same issue with parts availability though, also an AMG.

Normally I'm against buying new just because of the depreciation but right now the way the market is, it's probably going to hold it's value or stay within reason for some time. Even if it does lose value it's still a Shelby, it's always going to be worth something. So if you can get the loan you may as well take it and enjoy it and let someone else be the warranty for a change. Long term though it does have a lot of stuff on it to break. Here in NY I'd only be able to drive it about eight months of the year.
Helps to buy at the end of the month and at the end of the year. Especially if they need the inventory moved, meet sales targets, have another showroom vehicle coming in etc. Congrats. Got mine right at MSRP. It is possible. Just have to have patience and LUCK. Like you I really fell into it.

Just find a dealer that doesn't charge markup and order the truck. No fuss no muss, the markups are on used cars and any reservation/ order that has been cancelled.
Thank you for trying to speak sense into the car market. If we all stop paying the crazy inflated prices for new cars, the prices will come down real fast.
I am an old car fanatic And I've got back into restoring and building old cars but having something like that would close the chapter on me building anything lol. I have a 68 Mustang that pumps out close to 500 horses naturally aspirated And it rides like a buckboard and don't have all the creature comfort as that one there does. Enjoy that machine!
I guess you're right when saying that this GT500 marks the top of the mountain when it comes to combustion engine development in performance cars. This GT500 wil be one of the last dinosaurs of a dying era and automakers all over the world will soon turn out the lights in their combustion engine development labs if they haven't done so already. So, from this perspective you did well by buying this car as one of the last of the Mohicans.

Before I settled on my 21 Charger RT, I was looking at Tundras. I found a good deal on one, but I didn't like how it looked. They had another one that was $40K online, but said to ask about their special dealer price. I was thinking that 40K wasn't bad and I'd love to see what the special deal could bring it down too. I was told that all of their cars where 8K over the sticker price basically because they could. I had never been so baffled...but I ended up finding a great deal on my Charger elsewhere and that ended up being the best purchase I've made vehicle wise. If I had been an idiot and bought that Tundra, I would have paid 40K for the vehicle, 8K in the dealership's make-believe add on cost, 1-2K Gas Tax, Vehicle Tax of 4-6K, and God forbid if they talked me into an extended warranty. I'd be trapped with that car for the rest of my life ... These dealerships are getting ridiculous.

Congrats!!! I bought a brand new 2020 GT500 a year ago at MSRP. Had a chance at a silver GT500 for $2k under MSRP but I chose the one I purchased instead because I prefer the velocity blue color and the other options that came with the car.

I’m always checking out the Peel region in Canada because they only get one foot of snow every year and very little salt. It’s close to Niagara Falls and the USA border. It’s a honey hole.

Definitely do not give into dealer markups. I originally was browsing a new car that had a 10k markup…. I ended up driving an hour away to another dealership and bought the same car under msrp.
It's horrendous w/ used cars too... really bad. Esp if/when ya' have to... & at worst time. Almost got taken 2x now.. they are desperate LIARS.. anything to make the sale, even if unsafe! Ugh, so frustrating.
I would some day want to see a series called "everything wrong with my brand new [insert make and model]". And the series would only focus on the bad things, like ergonomics, materials, gaps, fit and finish, driving lights... anything that isn't perfect. And also in the mean time make pointers of what those should actually be to give satisfaction.

In my 45 years of driving my dumbest car mistake ever happened when I was 17 years old in 1976. One of the guys that I hung out with in high school his older brother bought a brand new triple black 1968 Shelby GT 500. The problem with the car is that people kept stealing it but the cops always got it back before anything really bad happened to it. We go over to his brothers house one day and he tells us I've got something to show you. We go out to the garage and he shows us the Shelby and says Any of you guys want this I'm tired of it getting stolen. And I raise my hand. I go back to my house and tell my Dad We gotta buy this car and he say's We don't have anyplace to park it. So it goes on to someone else. But after all of these years I finally did get my "Shelby" it's the name that I gave to one of my rescue dogs and man is she ever a hoot.
Hoovie I think you might appreciate this. I recently had a visit to the local Ford dealer as well, to buy an F150 Platinum Powerboost. Interestingly, its got the same 0-60 as a Countach. BTW, I got close to $4k off sticker on the Platinum and more for my trade- an F250 than I paid for it new. That Mustang is amazing 👍🏼

@@gerardogonzalez1217 that's true but if the buyer is happy there's no problem. I just returned a lease with less than half the anticipated mileage on it after four years. I could have sold it for $10,000 over the buyout but instead I just gave it back to the dealer. Why? Because I'm too busy to have to deal with a bunch of time-wasting tire-kickers. Sometimes convenience and piece of mind is worth more than chasing every dollar.
Congratulations, Tyler! Great car! Question: is there a missing cover on the back of your rear view mirror? There are exposed wires and what looks like an open slot in the bottom.
If you have lane assist and adaptive cruise there's a much larger housing behind the mirror that covers/shrouds those wires. Not sure if its a package issue, or actually a missing shroud (you'd think they'd put the shroud in place and just omit the sensors)....
That is Ford quality.....not missing anything. That literally highlights the issues with Ford these days: they hide their inferior quality with lots of jimmy jims and goo gaws. I worked for a marketing company and in the first week the GM told me "we sell the steak not the sizzle" and that's exactly what Ford has become.....I have watched videos of someone who bought a previous GT350 and had a bad oil leak in 9000 miles. Took it to the dealer and they noticed the block was cracked where it was bolted to the oil pan. They removed the oil pan and the block wasn't cast properly and the wall of the block was so thin it just crumbled away. Then there was the woman in the news who bought a mach E. It went into limp mode, she took it to the dealer in the first month "ok, you have to leave it with us, we'll have it for 3 months" because they couldn't get parts and the thing was only a month old.
Last week I bought my 1st new car in years and it was also my 1st Ford. 2021 mustang GT. Moment I got behind the wheel I knew I had to save the feeling of a car with soul before cars turn into feeling like an appliance
My GMC dealer called me yesterday and asked if I'd like to sell them my 2019 Sierra for $15k below book. They even offered to sell me a used 2021 Sierra for $20k over new MSRP.

Not exactly rare, there are plenty for sale on the web in all colors, specially this latest gen. There's a lot of them in São Paulo where I live but the thing is, people rather buy european cars wich are more suited for our streets and our reality.

Great purchase! The only thing I gotta say tho is that the markups used to always be there before the Internet. The internet forced dealers to bring prices down to MSRP which is why you can only get $1000-$2000 off of the MSRP now instead of $6,000-$10,000
There's one thing that's been bugging me in every driving shot Tyler... the wiring on the mirror! A car that's so expensive and they can't even put a shroud or some damn heat shrink over a bit of exposed wiring? Makes me wonder where else Ford cut corners on it.

Completely agree. I’m waiting on my stock GT delivery (6MT with MagnaRide and Recaros) and got it for a good chunk under MSRP (in Australia). Well worth doing the deal and grabbing a car is a perfect addition to my garage.

I would love to know how much fuel you burned up in just those few runs you did.....BTW-I ordered a new BRZ from Clear Lake (TX) Gillman Subaru about five months ago. Came in two weeks ago. They didn't charge me one dime in any upcharges and the finance lady shopped me around and got me a really super cheap interest rate. Sales guy was great as well rather than one of those snarky guys and even replied to one of my emails on a Sunday morning. Long time since I've said I had a good experience at a car dealership!

a Tacoma automatically gets a Toyota markup after the dealer mark up it doesn't matter what year it is.

I agree with you 100% on the dealer thing. People need to realize they don't need it that bad. I've added numerous dealers to my "Never do business with" list and let them know exactly why. The only way this insanity stops is if more people do this.

Still, there are dealers around like the one you bought from that are choosing not to do the right-now money grab. We test drove a Mach-E recently at a dealer outside of Seattle. They said that they have chosen to sell them at MSRP. I respect that.

Prices are high on cars right now luckily I’m not in the market to purchase a vehicle but it sounds like dealerships that are not marking up their cars are not supporting their sales people. What other product has a MSRP? What other product does the store owner (dealer) not try to sell for as much profit as possible? "Dealer markup" will be with us as long as retailers try to earn as much as possible during strong economys. No one gives the dealer money during a recession when they are losing their asses.

I probably drove that car before you did (I work at Flat Rock Assembly where they're built). They're really extremely good cars for the price - and where can you buy a 760hp supercharged car which you can pretty much take to the track right out of the box for 80k? The seats you got in that one are the ones I would prefer - the Recaros are not terrible, but they're not quite as comfy as those, and they're bolstered enough to keep you in place without pinching your body in uncomfortable ways. The carbon fiber track pack and wheels are cool as hell, but at $5-7k PER WHEEL if you damage one, they're not practical for road use.
I'm actually surprised you got it at MSRP, but we do build quite a few of them over here, so they're not really 'rare'. They are certainly fun though.

I lost my mind one weekend about six months ago and bought a used 13,000 mile 2018 GT350. The car is my daily driver because I genuinely cannot stop myself from just wanting to drive it more. My favourite car of the last few years was a 2015 comp orange PP Eco. Manual. Recaros. The thing felt like a BRZ in clown shoes. I bought it very low and sold when the market went nuts for used cars. I really want it back 🥺

Ford made great economy cars. I had a 2013 Fusion, first New car I ever purchased. Just traded it in 3 years ago with 180k miles, give or take.
The little 1.6 ecoboost became one of my all time favorite engines. Even mated to an automatic, in a big sedan like a fusion, it still moved out of its own way just fine, and managed to stay in the 30s mpg. I added an open downpipe, and suddenly had fun turbo sounds when taking off lol.
I got myself into an older 5.0, but again, I didn't hate the time I spent in my economy Ford car.

The dealer group I work at refuses to do this nonsense and it makes me very proud to work for them. Our owner is ferociously against it. We just had a guy drive over 6 hours from PA to buy a TRX from us because his local dealer was charging a $10k markup.

I’m interested in a few of the new models arriving slowly now, but I’m disgusted by greedy dealerships asking for $2-10K over sticker for common cars. Not new Porsches or even Caddy Blackwings, but GTIs and the Civic Si. It’s crazy. People who paid thousands over MSRP will be kicking themselves in when the market inevitably readjusts.

Used cars are just as bad if not worse. I feel like I bought a used Camry just in time before prices went nuts. I got a 2017 Camry in March of this year for $18,999 with 33k miles certified used and I checked a couple of months later and now it's worth $24k. I was bored one day last month and checked the inventory of the dealer I bought my car from and they had a 2019 Camry certified used selling for $4k OVER MSRP. $4k!!!!!! I can't believe people are paying OVER msrp for USED cars!

I've seen some of these GT500s marked up $30,000 to $50,000. In NY, most cars have a minimum markup of $5,000. New Tellurides and Mercedes SUVs are 10-15k.

I wanted to purchase a new TRX and the dealer wanted to add a 30k premium to the price tag…needless to say I did not purchase it…I can/will wait. As consumers we should all refuse to pay ridiculous markups…if we did the dealers would be happy to sell their inventory for a reasonable profit. I know I will remember how I was treated when this supply chain crap is over and will show my loyalty accordingly.
We just had a guy drive over 6 hours from PA to our dealer to buy a TRX from us because his local dealer was marking theirs up so much. We sold a truck and made a customer happy. To me that’s a lot more beneficial than trying to rip someone off for a quick buck.
I bought mine at invoice a few months ago. Had to drive a couple hours, but there are dealers out there that actually want to sell products. My hometown dealer has 3 just rotting on the lot because no one is willing to pay their ADM. One I think was built in January, it's almost a year old now.
Most countries have laws against dealer markups. They have a legally protected monopoly, they shouldn't be able to take advantage of it like this.

I’d like to get a new car or truck…but with so many new EVs and a certain amount of uncertainty in the Market, I cannot decide which or what to do…? Contemplated ordering new Z06, or Cybertruck, or Lightning,…but, uncertainty in even World politics caused me to get the Uber reliable 2020 4x4 4Runner with 7k miles…I can always sell it and buy something more exciting when certainty in the Market returns… But as it is, I don’t like it. I want a V8 or electric. My current daily is an E55, just if I need parts in the future…I may be SOL. …and I have a 650 hp car tucked in the garage for special days…same issue with parts availability though, also an AMG.

Normally I'm against buying new just because of the depreciation but right now the way the market is, it's probably going to hold it's value or stay within reason for some time. Even if it does lose value it's still a Shelby, it's always going to be worth something. So if you can get the loan you may as well take it and enjoy it and let someone else be the warranty for a change.
Long term though it does have a lot of stuff on it to break. Here in NY I'd only be able to drive it about eight months of the year.
Helps to buy at the end of the month and at the end of the year. Especially if they need the inventory moved, meet sales targets, have another showroom vehicle coming in etc. Congrats. Got mine right at MSRP. It is possible. Just have to have patience and LUCK. Like you I really fell into it.

I am an old car fanatic And I've got back into restoring and building old cars but having something like that would close the chapter on me building anything lol. I have a 68 Mustang that pumps out close to 500 horses naturally aspirated And it rides like a buckboard and don't have all the creature comfort as that one there does. Enjoy that machine!

I guess you're right when saying that this GT500 marks the top of the mountain when it comes to combustion engine development in performance cars. This GT500 wil be one of the last dinosaurs of a dying era and automakers all over the world will soon turn out the lights in their combustion engine development labs if they haven't done so already. Before I settled on my 21 Charger RT, I was looking at Tundras. I found a good deal on one, but I didn't like how it looked. They had another one that was $40K online, but said to ask about their special dealer price. I was thinking that 40K wasn't bad and I'd love to see what the special deal could bring it down too.
I was told that all of their cars where 8K over the sticker price basically because they could.
I had never been so baffled...but I ended up finding a great deal on my Charger elsewhere and that ended up being the best purchase I've made vehicle wise.
If I had been an idiot and bought that Tundra, I would have paid 40K for the vehicle, 8K in the dealership's make-believe add on cost, 1-2K Gas Tax, Vehicle Tax of 4-6K, and God forbid if they talked me into an extended warranty. I'd be trapped with that car for the rest of my life ...

Congrats!!! I bought a brand new 2020 GT500 a year ago at MSRP. Had a chance at a silver GT500 for $2k under MSRP but I chose the one I purchased instead because I prefer the velocity blue color and the other options that came with the car.

Definitely do not give into dealer markups. I originally was browsing a new car that had a 10k markup…. I ended up driving an hour away to another dealership and bought the same car under msrp.
It's horrendous w/ used cars too... really bad. Esp if/when ya' have to... & at worst time. Almost got taken 2x now.. they are desperate LIARS.. anything to make the sale, even if unsafe! Ugh, so frustrating.
I would some day want to see a series called "everything wrong with my brand new [insert make and model]". And the series would only focus on the bad things, like ergonomics, materials, gaps, fit and finish, driving lights... anything that isn't perfect. And also in the mean time make pointers of what those should actually be to give satisfaction.

In my 45 years of driving my dumbest car mistake ever happened when I was 17 years old in 1976. One of the guys that I hung out with in high school his older brother bought a brand new triple black 1968 Shelby GT 500. The problem with the car is that people kept stealing it but the cops always got it back before anything really bad happened to it. We go over to his brothers house one day and he tells us I've got something to show you. We go out to the garage and he shows us the Shelby and says Any of you guys want this I'm tired of it getting stolen. And I raise my hand. I go back to my house and tell my Dad We gotta buy this car and he say's We don't have anyplace to park it. So it goes on to someone else. But after all of these years I finally did get my "Shelby" it's the name that I gave to one of my rescue dogs and man is she ever a hoot.

Hoovie I think you might appreciate this. I recently had a visit to the local Ford dealer as well, to buy an F150 Platinum Powerboost. Interestingly, its got the same 0-60 as a Countach. BTW, I got close to $4k off sticker on the Platinum and more for my trade- an F250 than I paid for it new. That Mustang is amazing 👍🏼

@@gerardogonzalez1217 that's true but if the buyer is happy there's no problem. I just returned a lease with less than half the anticipated mileage on it after four years. I could have sold it for $10,000 over the buyout but instead I just gave it back to the dealer. Why? Because I'm too busy to have to deal with a bunch of time-wasting tire-kickers. Sometimes convenience and piece of mind is worth more than chasing every dollar.

You need to add the "basic schatt" package for 10k to hide wires.
If you have lane assist and adaptive cruise there's a much larger housing behind the mirror that covers/shrouds those wires. Not sure if its a package issue, or actually a missing shroud (you'd think they'd put the shroud in place and just omit the sensors)....
That is Ford quality.....not missing anything. That literally highlights the issues with Ford these days: they hide their inferior quality with lots of jimmy jims and goo gaws.
I worked for a marketing company and in the first week the GM told me "we sell the steak not the sizzle" and that's exactly what Ford has become.....I have watched videos of someone who bought a previous GT350 and had a bad oil leak in 9000 miles. Took it to the dealer and they noticed the block was cracked where it was bolted to the oil pan. They removed the oil pan and the block wasn't cast properly and the wall of the block was so thin it just crumbled away.
Then there was the woman in the news who bought a mach E. It went into limp mode, she took it to the dealer in the first month "ok, you have to leave it with us, we'll have it for 3 months" because they couldn't get parts and the thing was only a month old.

My GMC dealer called me yesterday and asked if I'd like to sell them my 2019 Sierra for $15k below book. They even offered to sell me a used 2021 Sierra for $20k over new MSRP.

Not exactly rare, there are plenty for sale on the web in all colors, specially this latest gen. There's a lot of them in São Paulo where I live but the thing is, people rather buy european cars wich are more suited for our streets and our reality.
Recaros really do elevate the experience, but, for MSRP in this economy, I’d take this as equipped too.
That's a great car, but personally I'd rather have a GT350. I prefer manuals and that Voodoo motor is really something special.

Great purchase! The only thing I gotta say tho is that the markups used to always be there before the Internet. The internet forced dealers to bring prices down to MSRP which is why you can only get $1000-$2000 off of the MSRP now instead of $6,000-$10,000

There's one thing that's been bugging me in every driving shot Tyler... the wiring on the mirror! A car that's so expensive and they can't even put a shroud or some damn heat shrink over a bit of exposed wiring? Makes me wonder where else Ford cut corners on it.

Completely agree. I’m waiting on my stock GT delivery (6MT with MagnaRide and Recaros) and got it for a good chunk under MSRP (in Australia). Well worth doing the deal and grabbing a car is a perfect addition to my garage.

I would love to know how much fuel you burned up in just those few runs you did.....BTW-I ordered a new BRZ from Clear Lake (TX) Gillman Subaru about five months ago. Came in two weeks ago. They didn't charge me one dime in any upcharges and the finance lady shopped me around and got me a really super cheap interest rate. Sales guy was great as well rather than one of those snarky guys and even replied to one of my emails on a Sunday morning. Long time since I've said I had a good experience at a car dealership!
