Thank you Scott for taking the time to share this! My regulator popped about four hours before dark with a snowstorm blowing in. I was able to find the part immediately at Advance auto parts but after retrieving them was down to three hours and freaking out. I followed your video with my laptop on the front seat and was putting new one in and.....wrong one...shoot!! raced back to Advance, got the right one, raced home and installed correct one.Buttoned it up and still had time to load my trade tools for tomorrow before dark or snow!! Thanks again!!
Excellent video that helped me out tremendously and saved me money and time. The only difference in the instructions was my speaker screws were much smaller than 7/16. No worries. Found the right size and moved on. Thanks for easy and clear instructions!
Scott, thanks for making and sharing this video. I have the same truck, and the same window broke today. I will attempt to replace it this weekend. Already had the passenger's side and one on the back replaced in the past two years. Thanks again!
A huge help mate! Your video on this is real concise and made it look like child's play. I'm replacing the same hardware on my 05 F-150 and know it's gonna work out smooth after watchin' your vid. BTW, for anyone wanting to know were they can get the entire window regulator w/motor cheap, I got my at Napa in my area for $85. May be cheaper down state side.
I have a 05 with broken driver side mirror, DoH! stupid tree jumped right out and took it off!... anyway...this was very helpful in getting the panel off to get to the mirror nuts, 04 and 05 look exactly the same, tip of the day! Ford wanted over 450.00 for the mirror, Rock auto, 130.00 deference in my pocket! well wife's pocket...great video.
Thanks! Mine all still work, but the drivers side only goes down with the switch on the drivers door. Looks like I have to replace the 4-switch pod on the drivers door, nice to see it comes out easily.
his video would have been great except for the fact that you had already done the repair when taking the video. Also if your replacing the window regulator just using the switches probably wont make the window go up and down. The video was helpful just could have been much better. Now im off to find a video where they just dont tell me what to do but show me.

Thanks, this definitely sped things up. FYI, the T30 bolts are also 10mm in case the T30 doesn't fit quite right or starts to strip, like mine.
