Firstly I would like to express my appreciation for the bhajan playing in the background, considering that this is prasad offered to Lord Jagannath. 🙏🚩🕉️🔱 In Gujarat, a thinner version of the batter is made. A thin layer of this is spread on a square or round piece of well oiled banana leaf. It is covered by another piece of banana leaf and either roasted on a low flame on a thick tava, switching the sides, until brown spots appear on the banana leaf or it can be steamed. Ghee is applied on it before serving. It is had with green chutney. 👌🤩

Very nice 💕💕 in Tamilnadu this is called Mor kali or Mor kool, almost same preparation, except the rice flour is mixed with buttermilk and water, then pouring into the kadai over the seasoning, and non stop stirring for five minutes till it gets cooked , thanks💕💕
