LOve the Videos ! All of them are Detailed and explained to a tee ! Wife and I just bought our first VW . Bought a 69 Beetle Bug . I've already replaced the shift rod bushings and OMG its so tight like new , LOVE IT . Needs a whole new interior , Going to try my knowledge with the help of videos to install an adjustable front beam to lower a little . GREAT VIDEOS and Knowledge you have shared .
We love all your videos working a VW beetle! You are great at explaining and showing what you are doing! We are learning so much and it will help us with our Beetle restoration
I recommend to have extras of roll pins. You will lose them especially the more times you get back into the door. Drill bits work in a pinch, cut to size.
I am Glad to see your project coming along so well. Wish I could say the same for mine. I am working to get mine into my shop so I can replace the frame head. Alabama is a little warm this time of year for some reason. Once I get it road worthy I intend to start on my fast back. I am looking forward to that but a little intimidated too. I have to fab up a trunk floor (rear around engine ) I’m not a sheet metal guy but I have stayed at a holiday inn express before so I guess I’ll pretend to be for a while. Enjoy the videos thanks
I don’t recall what year swapped to the screw on style grab handles. If your car has the screw on style it would require modifications; if not you should be able to swap them out.
