Im just going to say it. There are none of these cars left in good condition. If you're buying one now in 2024 be ready to spend plenty of money buying parts that almost impossible to find. I owned one for 11 years, sold it in 2017. It was so difficult and expensive to maintain and get parts for back then, it's only going to be harder now... I will say it is still the most fun car I have ever owned.❤

I own a 1999 legnum vr4 type s manual converted. Still road registered and daily drive it
I owned one of these when I was stationed in Japan... One of my biggest regrets was not importing it :(

I got one a couple months ago, not as clean, has a little rust but it is awesome.
These were available for a very limited time officially through Mitsubishi Ralliart dealers here in the UK.
It was the later Type-S version, there is an even rarer Super VR-4 that you'll probably only find in Gran Turismo 2 these days, incredibly rare.
I know of a Super VR4 in Australia 😊
We have a few here in nz. But yes hard to come by

That's correct. Engine remains untouched.
Body kit (side skirts, rear bar, front bar, front canards, all left in black). rear twin-spoiler, "titanium" (chrome) rear boot garnish. Headlights are colour-coded as well, with silver or red paint instead of the black finish.
RalliArt exhaust (same diameter, different muffler)
Interior is red carpet, Momo steering wheel / gearshift (auto only) / handbrake finished in red and black, door cards, Recaro seats, and dashboard has a purple "haze" light effect around the odometer.
800 were planned, but they only built 369 Super VR4 Galants / Legnums

Had one exactly the same with evo9 rims & decat, upgraded rotors & nothing more, practically gave it away had 70,000km on the clock, unfortunately road tax & fuel was killing me in EU, long story short after 3yrs I regret selling it & want to kick myself everytime I think of it, from the sleeper looks to that amazing pickup & gearbox...... F*#k
