- Let this remind you to always check your surroundings when heading out to the beach.
A large crocodile was seen on Monday swimming in its unnatural habitat as it wandered around under the Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier.
In a video posted on the City of Pompano Beach's Facebook page, the reptile is seen calmly swimming under the pier while no other people appear to be near it in the water.

We almost lost our crocodiles in Florida. There's still only around 2,000. Anytime you see one, is luckier than you might realize. Just give them their space and enjoy them from a distance.
Welcome to FLORIDAH
FEEL FREE TO SWIM WHERE YOU LIKE AND DONT MIND THE WILDLIFE.
Gators and crocs live here in Florida. I've seen both and had numerous people tell me there are no crocs. Think again and keep a lookout.
That crock was like oh there's a swimmer
I've never seen a crocodile from a top angle. It's actually fascinating to see. Their "noses" (spouts, whatever lol) are much more triangular than they appear facing them at your ground level.
Gorgeous
Ayer yo estaba con mí familia en la playa cuando de momento nos sorprendió dos cocodrilo del tamaño de un auto pequeño eso fue en Naples
This would be a normal day un Australia
I honestly didn’t even know Florida had crocs. Alligators, yes, but didn’t know they had crocs.
Only place in the world where they coexist is Florida it’s awesome
That guy was just chillen in the water😅
It also has been tagged and people probably know that gator well..Has a tracking collar on it..
That is clearly not a gator. It is an American croc
It's wearing a tag. I'm sure somebody already knew it was around.
Wow, that is a crocodile, it has a triangle shape head!!
Does that crock look like it has a camera on the back of its neck?
He looks like he has been tagged
It has..Probably because it might be well known and is a risk and track that one..Its got a tracking collar on..
@@k-t2498because it’s an endangered animal
How many pairs of shoes can I get with one that size
Depends on how many pairs the DoC will issue you during your 20 year stay for killing a federally protected and endangered species.
the guy saying "what does he have on his head?"
The water in Pompano does NOT look like that😅
That’s what I was thinking?! It’s that clear in the Atlantic? No it’s not.

And Crocs
You're a Floridian and can't see that's a crocodile lol
Pointy snout=Crocodile rounded=Gator. I'm from NYC and know that homie.
Florida has both. Crocs and alligators
@@Mijaybird46 Any crocs found in Fla. were brought there. Alligators are only found naturally living in 2 places in the world....China and Florida regions.
