I go bottom line with mine and I play them as using the first of the double strike and then go into the disrupting sweep. It puts them into a more anti-infantry role because I find that the double strike just displaces the unit to far forward. The disrupting sweep also seems to have a life steal ability which can allow a model to go from in the red to full health in a single swing. I can try to get some footage with them if you want
I changed to bottom line and feels way better also. The extreme fast refresh on skill 1 doesnt do much because the animation of the double strike just takes forever, and you cant spam skill 1 over and over again until the first finished. In my experience, the unit got wiped before you can spam another double strike and before the second part of the double strike. The problem with this unit is they dont brace back after any skills, so you have to put them into formation right after every single press of 1 or 2.
The way i play them is Poke (Skill 1), Check if its refreshed if yes Poke again Otherwise Swing (second Skill) then pull them out until 1 is available again. Rinse and repeat
@@mattb7450 there is a "most" there. fully upgraded spear guards with the best doctrines are really insane. You need to let the team start breaking their block first, or break it yourself with a reliable weapon class.
@@mattb7450 every heavy armor class has at least one hability to make everyone fall down (or at least knock back, kneel, etc.. enough to make a window for orochi). These heavy armor classes are not as gracious as a pike, or devilish as a ranged class, but things get done when they are around.
Seems that the correct way to use them is inside a massive blob of advancing troops. They can go non stop on double strikes since the kills refresh the hability so quickly.

Just normal Playing, doing ur dailys and specific fiefquests give extra honor. It's better to ask others which Unit are rly worth Unlocking, especially with the new Mastery System honor becomes very scarce
Yeah, literally just playing the game. Easy way to get it, that a lot of people don't do is fief quest, do them everyday and you should net a good amount more honour 🙂
i still dont have the onna musha and i play quite a bit, wish they would make it easier byt the time i usually unlock these units they get nerfed or are overshadowd by some other unit

Great Video, personally I like much more the vids where the presented unit is not super effective. You have shown realistic situations which every player here knows and has to go through. The one with the samurais being annihilated by monks and mushis is a really good example what we should avoid and it has nothing to do that you are a bad player. These things happen in battle...
If servers in CB weren't dogshit this would be the best anti cav the game. But if you can't see the cav coming or you're smashing the 1 key and your unit doesn't respond to the unit order, you can't counter the cav, can you? EDIT: Bottom linr threy are tankier and they still heal ok. You sapm 1 essentially and they do survive more so they end up doing more damage.
Not a really good unit for a spear type, all unit with block base can easy tank the hit and Orachi will take full dmg without any immune or Base blok, this unit same like Imperial Spear unit only different is having a 1time burst damage.

Giving double strike more block break would be enough. To be fair most shields on their own will lose if you time your attacks properly and play the right class. 1 into cav charge is insane, even blocked yolo cav that way and i don't even have the dmg reduction doctrine. Just use them as support /cleanup unit after others go in with their units. Works wonders

The way you were playing them its better with bottom vet, so that the second skill heals them and gives u time to pull them out
note: above 2000 piercing pen. you can wipe "most" spear guards too, just not when they are on the advancing hability.
They dont break through the block so in a blob they will die. Mine has 2k pierce pen

Yeah totally agree I'm not saying they are bad, there is just better stuff out there for less leadership
so far this season i feel like only the una musha have been really good tbh.
As I said I think these guys can be good. Just with how many shields are roaming around, it's hard to make an impact 🫤

You can do the bandits in open world and then with the stuff you get from the bandits you can do the fief quests which give you honor

The difficulties of those challenges had been tuned down quite a lot compared to previous seasons😊
