Thanks for your videos. I really appreciate all the testing you do, you are a star. I have a question: which doctrines are better, the old blue breakthrough and assassination docs, or the new blue ones with unit damage + all damage, and hero damage + armor penetration?
@@CarlosAndrade-xu4js yes, epic set is better (if you abuse cc immunity). But keep in mind that you need 8 schematics just to craft it and reforge and then getting health and leadership on it is another story :D
Your videos really help understanding how to play. I basically play nodachi only thanx to your tutorials. Before I started to watch them I was constantly dying :). I have problem with using Dragon's Leap, too long in one place and most of the time miss the oportunity before charged. I found myself increasly using basic attacks when I'm in the unit, skills mostly against heroes.
Hello, bit of a newbie question here. I just came to the game and wanted to play nodachi. Sinec I main Poleaxe, dmg longsword and nodachi but quit around season5-6. I don't know what stats are good on my weapon and which aren't. I know that I want slashing. I got a legendary nodachi from crafting but it's stats are compared to my current purple are ( +189 Piercing pen, -26 slashing pen, +7 blunt, +78 piercing dmg, -318 slashing dmg + 5 blunt +32 crit value ) I don't know if I should use it, mainly because of the loss of the +318 slashing dmg and I wonder if I want to lock piercing pen 189 or the 32 crit value. never got crit value before and I idk what good numbers look like. Either way, thanks for the guide it was a really well made guide for me as a returning player at least. I am currently using my duelist build from before i quit it was pretty good back then at least, what do you think of ( Blood thirsty - Fearless and steadfast - Samurai's March - Dragon's leap) Samurai's march allows me to extend the ground time if I knock someone down and also feels like one of the few CCs that actually interrupt maul spins, I don't know if it has a knock down or not but it did seem to keep enemies that KD on the ground Dragon leap has big damage knock enemy formations down, never used the other ult beyond lvl 1 so idk if it's good Sorry for the long comment and thanks again (extra unrelated questions, why do I see a lot of men at arms now, Paladins were my fav unit but I don't see anyone using them, are they bad now ?)
When comparing weapons you look only at the stats. It doesn't matter if it's legendary, if stats are worse then it's worse. You want to get more slashing, not less ;) 30crit value is very bad. You can check max reforge values in the reforge menu - there is a button for that on the bottom. If both of your slashing stats are bad then don't lock anything. Get slashing first and then lock it. Skills sounds good. MAA with mastery are super strong and brain-dead easy to use, that's why everyone runs them. Paladins just got powercreept out of existence
@@SuperKitowiec I see, thank you for the quick reply and great explanation, I appreciate it. the purple had +332 slashing dmg on it while the legendary had none, I guess I'll just keep crafting until I get something worth reforging
Thanks for your videos mate. One short question: Is it really worth to go for 4x Carnifex instead of going 2x Carnifex + 2x Rouge for the setbonus since the Armour value you loose compared to full medium is barely noticeable, but you have additional 250 pen from rouge first setbonus and might be able to spend more points into damage/toughness. Is that viable or kind of outdated ( found that in a way older guide tho). Ty in advance and keep it up!
Thanks for the video, I have been playing nodachi for a good time yet I never knew about either dragon leap being 8 second cc immune long and not 4 (it did seem kinda longer than 4 seconds most of time xD) nor about the basic attack having special effects or straight up stopping cavalry. Will try it out ^^. Btw is it still possible to get that flame nodachi skin or not ? Didn't get it at the time it was out, now I am seething with jealousy whenever I see it xD
Siema/Hi very good update on this guide... the only thing i missing is: why health over armor? as second atribute? last time you said penetration sweet spot is 2000 now you say its 1800 - why this changed? cuz of ingame changes or you just change your own opinion? thank you
Armor is not worth it unless you can get 1000+. And you can't do that with medium class. As for pen. I did some testing and I found that having more than 1800 barely makes a difference against very heavy armors and you lose quite a lot against lower armors (assuming that you take damage instead of pen)
Awesome guide, I have a question about Fearless and Steadfast skill, i think the CC immunity during bloodbath is bugged and not working have you tried it ?
@@SuperKitowiec there are times where i used it and still got knocked down, Do you know if we lose the immunity if blood bath ended before the 2.5 seconds?
at first .... nice video, love ur content. And now my question. Do I have to get 1800 slash pen in all together with the agilty attributs from my armor kit. Or do i have to push agilty up to 1800 without considering my armor stats, which I get on top. (I mean like the attributs you can put on top like agilty and armor +2) Hope you will react. And pls do more CB videoos :)))
Thanks ;) 1800 is a final value, so after agi, weapon etc. I have something closer to 1700 currently and full toughness and it also works fine (got sick of being 1shoted by cav :D)
shall I go full agility or full str? If i just wanna maximize my dmg. right now if i go full AGI i got slash damage 2190 and slash penetration 2247. maybe i should give some points to slash dmage?
@@SuperKitowiecsorry to borther, but why 1800? I have checked the calculation form but lost within the numbers. Could you please tell me does it mean the STP become less efficient once it pass 1800?
@@Yanpingmentaro i did some testing with how many hits I need to kill high Armor with high pen and I found that there is very little difference (something along the lines of 36 hits instead of 40). On the other hand, having more str makes a big difference Vs low armors. With that in mind 1800 came out as a nice sweet spot
@@louismanet3656 there aren't really any combos for units. The only thing is that you want to stick to baiscs if you hit a lot of units at the same time because of the multihit penalty and bonus lifesteal. In general, you want to use cc and get stacks on units but you don't want to waste all of your recovery skills. Skills have built in daze immunity so it's better to use them when you dive enemy units because otherwise you can get easily dazed to death
@@SuperKitowiec TY. I mostly use Tiger's Claw and Bloodthirst when bloodcraze is active so I get the bonus 25% dmg and damage reduction, then just use basic attacks. Dragon's leap is hard because I use it and get stuck in the enemy units :)
