For drilling plastics, acrylics, and such (like that valve cover) a stepped bit is a lifesaver. It leaves a super clean hole and doesn't grab the way a regular bit does. Awesome content as always guys!!! Have fun and keep the shiny side up, rubber side down!!!

I rejected piped and a few other funs to a kawi prairie 650 I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get it right now while I was writing and I lifted up the air cleaner lid took off in about threw me off the back. Air duh it had a snorkel. Stock it did about 55 and now it does 85 which is pretty good for a 4x4 ATV. If you pump it it'll do a wheelie it's fun to have to ride you just stare with the rear I've even done a wheelie backwards in four wheel drive I was selling them at the time guys would say I don't need one that big I'd fire that up and tell him how it was my wife's. It helped me sell quite a few. The day I put the pipe on on the guys from the shop came running out thought someone was still in his Harley. Watching the bronco diagnosis reminding me of it

Just a heads up because I’ve never seen you do it and can’t tell on video, but those foam clamp on filters need to be oiled. UNI makes a good oil and it will help with a lot of your jetting issues. I manage a motorcycle dealership and we have to oil the air filters more on brand new out of the crate KLX 140 just to get them to idle. And don’t be scared to saturate it. It will tack up and give the dirt something to stick to as it’s pulled into the filter.
If you grind a small flat on the cutting edges of the drill bit it won't grab on the plastic lessoning the chance of cracking it. The flat should run paralell with the drill bit if that makes sense to you. The flat doesnt have to big,1/32 is sufficient. I've machined a crap load of acrlic and other hard plasics over the years and this was a life saver, It also helps stop chipping on the edge of the hole.
One trick that farm tractor manufacturers use to help with the steering is to turn the front wheels two or three percent faster than the rear. This does lead to faster tire wear, but it will help pull the front end around in a corner.
I have to be honest when you guys were building that thing I figured it was going to turn out to be some sort of crawler that didn’t work very well I really didn’t think it was going to actually be able to rip I have no faith in you guys but damn that thing hauls now I am really impressed
If I may request a test. Swap front and rear wheels to gain steering traction and nose balast. Caution on the lock to lock as may rub body. Awesome work men. Anti wheely/ rear bumper to protect you guy's?.

What it really needs is a selective 4x4 option by making a new version of the front drive axle that the sprocket rides on with a section that’s splined, and another that that isn’t, with a collar that slides back and forth to engage the splines to the sprocket. Then all you need is a push pull cable to move the collar back and forth.

You guys should put a cheap lift on that durango. I bought a leveling lift for mine that lifts the truck 2 inches in the rear and 3 up front to level it out along with some 285/75r16 (33 inch tall) venom power terra hunter xt tires. Stock tire is a 31 i believe so it will be about 3 to 3 1/2 inches taller which will be a great stanced look, i cant wait!

Quick tip if you think it is running out of fuel ie running lean, pull the choke when you think it is running lane if it runs better you know it is a fuel issue
Cars and cameras, try out an oil cooler for one of your builds. I made one from a 7 in by 12 in radiator, low pressure fuel line, a electric fuel pump running 1.5 -5 psi, with a 6mah craftsman drill battery. You have to drill a hole in the block in 2 locations, one is below the oil level that's a feed line and a return line. I got longer rides out of my engines before getting too hot.

If your needle for the throttle has a clip for adjustment, you should try pulling the needle out of the main jet by dropping the clip one or two spots that will allow more fuel flow as well

this comment is for anyone who uses the clear valve covers from GoPower sports. you should drill another small hole somewhere through it, and install a LED. illuminating the valve train with almost be sicker than the clear valve cover, itself. the way to do it, is to use a round LED, and just drill about halfway through the lexan, inserting it from the outside into the plastic directly. this would make all of the plastic itself glow. I'm sure you all got killer skill and intelligence, after all, what channel you're watching in the first place. 😏💯

Hi. With the space that you have there. you could have more than one track. One that is totally dry all all year round and quite flat for speed runs. Another that is muddy hilly, bumpy and with jumps. You could put an intermediate track. including some fast parts and some muddy and hilly parts. To try and get an all round track. As long as you have some kind of digger and gravel. You keep on altering the track until you get it to what's needed. I'm looking forward to your electric build. Have plenty of fun with not to many bad spills.

You can buy drill bits specifically for plastics, they typically have steeper angles than those meant for drilling metals.

yeah, tip the steering wheel ahead so its not jammed into crotch so hard and adjust linkage so it turns faster

all 4 wheels are locked at all times. the front hubs and CV axles made steering very tricky, but it still handles great imo

this comment is for anyone who uses the clear valve covers from GoPower sports. you should drill another small hole somewhere through it, and install a LED. illuminating the valve train with almost be sicker than the clear valve cover, itself. the way to do it, is to use a round LED, and just drill about halfway through the lexan, inserting it from the outside into the plastic directly. this would make all of the plastic itself glow. I'm sure you all got killer skill and intelligence, after all, what channel you're watching in the first place. 😏💯

Hi. With the space that you have there. you could have more than one track. One that is totally dry all all year round and quite flat for speed runs. Another that is muddy hilly, bumpy and with jumps. You could put an intermediate track. including some fast parts and some muddy and hilly parts. To try and get an all round track. As long as you have some kind of digger and gravel. You keep on altering the track until you get it to what's needed. I'm looking forward to your electric build. Have plenty of fun with not to many bad spills.

Nice! Great stuff, this weekend is supposed to get to 40 Celsius. So I'll be installing my GPS valve springs and 60 tooth sprocket. At the same time deleting the governor on my BT200X. Once thats done I'll reshoot this video. What upgrade carb do you recommend ?
Step drills work the best when drilling plastic or acrylic
If you add a bit of overdrive in the front, maybe 5-10% so like go down a tooth or two. It will help with turning and reduce understeer.
