The US military does the same thing, all but one son can go to war. So the bloodline does not end in one war. My grandfather was not able to fight in WW2, Korea or Vietnam because all of his brother where already enlisted in the military. The reason they do this is because the male carries the family’s last name, if he would die then the blood line would go extinct.

Same thing is in our family, My grandfather was in Army but his brother was not then my Father is in Army but his brother is not now my brother is in Army but i am not. Its very old tradition or say thats how they do it here.
I think the phrase Stark in Winterfell is also related to how the mountain clans in the North and possibly the ancient Firstmen call their leader. The Wull, the Liddle, the Flint, etc.
There is another time that the phrase "there must always be a Stark in Winterfell", it is in season 1 episode 8 "The Pointy End". It is said when Rob is about to leave south with the banner men for his father and he tells Bran this. Just thought that would be interesting to know
Reading the books, I taken the saying totally different. Like magic on the wall, and winterfell build by the same person. The binding contract or magic would be broken if none of the bloodline left the castle. So the walkers would be free to come south.
Yes, YES! I've watched *a whole bunch* of your videos, but just found this one today- It's EXACTLY what I thought after reading the books, but could never go through and find all the specific examples to prove it! You're the best! Cheers, keep it up! 👏
The second time this phrase was used in the show is when Rob visited Bran in his chambers before he rode off south with his bannermen in Season 1 E 8. And after Rob said the phrase he instructed Bran to stay within the castle walls
A lot of great information here, thank you! A couple of thoughts (specifically within the context of the show) The first time in the show we see the Army of the Dead marching (the time when Sam is hiding behind a rock) is Season 2 episode 10. What sticks out to me is this the same episode in which Bran, Rickon, Hodor, and Osha emerge from "hiding in the crypts" of Winterfell and begin their journey north. The result is that this is now the first time in the context of the show where technically all Starks are gone from Winterfell. "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell". This tells me that the phrase "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell" is actually one of the conditions of the truce made between men and the others/walkers. The Walkers then take this as the sign that it's time to put their plan into effect.
Not a bad theory, but i always thought it was more to do with Leadership and hierarchy. Basically someone needs to be there to take charge. And literally that's what happens when Ned leaves, Caitlyn, then Robb, and finally Bran and his brother leaving. Bolton need to marrying Sansa, and so-on.
I always felt it was ment for when winter comes , “The Night King” . There has to be a Stark in Winterfell. Because it must only be a Stark that can defeat the Night King.
My theory on that saying is wrapped in much thicker tin foil. There must always be a Stark in Winterfell because when the Night King (or the Great Other) comes south, he'll want to raise the dead in the Crypts of Winterfell. If there is no Stark in Winterfell, he'll be able to do so, and with so many of the great kings of Winter this army would be nigh unbeatable. However, if there IS a Stark in Winterfell, the dead will rise, but they'll be under the command of the Stark in Winterfell, and they'll fight against the Other's army of the dead.
could be. i dont see the kings of winter rising though. and i dont believe anyone has special blood. so a "Stark in winterfell" wouldnt really mean anything in magical terms
I have to disagree about the blood. Drogon knew there was something special about Jon's blood. Melisandre showed that Stannis' blood could birth a monster. It's a common theme in sci-fi and fantasy that there are some with special qualities/powers handed down generation to generation. The man GRRM admired, Tolkien showed that the blood of the Númenóreans was special. A Tolkien tie-in would also apply to my theory: Aragorn, and ONLY Aragorn could summon the spirits of those on the Paths of the Dead to fight for him.
I love it, and it could be possible. Because of the trees. I think the trees have to do something with the Stark thing. Also, what do you think will be the end of the series? I think the giant will open it's eye.
@@random_eskimo_in_the_rockies in GOT bloodlines are important, for example, only Targaryens can ride dragons, and there is a lot of theory why specific Targaryens can while others cant, and it has a lot to do with the right genes handed down from generation to generation.
I love your channel so much. Your ideas are interesting without being overbearing, really makes me think. Plus you have a great voice. Keep up the good work.
Ned chanted a prayer before dying. Calling that prayer magic That magic rested his soul in the catacombs of winterhold. The swords are there to keep them there. The spirits will fight at winterfell and that imo is what arya is running from. Dead decapitated daddy
we all know now that the real reason for "there must always be a stark in winterfell" is to protect the north from the night kind and as the name suggest it's ('winter''fell')
I've heard theories that when the Wight Walkers were around thousands of years ago, they weren't actually physically defeated and driven off. Rather that some kind of deal was made with them. We can be fairly sure that Starks were involved, probably even that the Night King IS a Stark. So the idea of such a deal involving the Starks is a pretty good bet. So maybe that deal includes that agreement that there is always a Stark in Winterfell. It's not some code for anything, but quite literally a Stark physically being in Winterfell.
I think there must be always a Stark in Winterfell to keep the dead in the crypts. I think Theon is fullfilling that part, but he is not truly a Stark, hence the ghost of Winterfell which I think is Theon (either being warged -by a Stark, probably Bran-, or developing a split personality)
I think that Bael's son could not have become the Night King, because it is said that his son, new Lord Stark of Winterfell, was later killed and skinned alive by the Boltons. Or maybe it's just made-up, official version of the history to cover up that whole thing and then this theory could be true. Great video as always!
How the hell after all this time ive subscribed to countless youtubers who break down GOT have i never seen your videos!?! Subscribed and notifications on
Dual meaning Grrm titles chapters for whoever has the POV. So we get theon 1, theon 2, etc Then reek 1, reek 2, reek 3, then "the prince of winterfell" It into what Jon said to him You're a stark and you're a greyjoy. You don't have to choose
Reading the books a few things are mentioned quite frequently 1 being The Honor of Ned Stark, it's mentioned numerous times and as we found out Ned never broke his honor as Jon Snow wasn't his kid. It's also mentioned that a Stark must always be in Winterfell, and it's also mentioned on at least a few occasions that 50 good men could defend Winterfell against an army. So I think all that really means is that a war is coming to Winterfell (white walkers) and a Stark will lead the people to victory.
There is also another moment in season 7 where jon says to sansa before leaving for dragon ''You are my sister. You are the only Stark in Winterfell. Until I return the North is yours.''. Probably doens't change anything but I think it's important to consider anywa ys
Totally blew my mind on the book listed "The (k)nights are dark and full of terror!!! and I just hear Melasandra repeating it over and over and she just get's "visions" or w/e but maybe she her interpretations are a little off as we know how well it went with Stannis. I believe she does hear "whispers" but her blinding faith doesn't make her try to figure out what the words she knows actually means. I think that she is human and fills in the "gaps" of her faith with her own interpretations and experiences and since she said she had a bad childhood she is very numb to pain and likely did not have much guidance.
I know you probably won't agree but Im still gonna tell you. I believe that the Night King that Arya killed was not the real Night King at all!! I have a huge theory about the real Night King. And if I am right at all, then I think I also know exactly what's coming. I just wish I could sit down and have a private chat with George R.R. Martin and explain my idea and theory to him just to see if I'm even close at all to being right because I think I'm getting the exact story plot correct that he's working on.
@B4 Great Analysis. Thanks. Here's some thoughts not really necessary for your point, but that emphasize it: The Maiden Girl's "Name-Day Gown" is GRRM's euphemism for today's "Birthday Suit" or "Naked as a Jaybird" phrases. Thus, if a pretty girl could walk down the main street in town with nothing on and nothing to fear, it meant that the Starks enforced the laws, which brought peace. And, as seen in the fact that travelers could find many good places to stay with sufficient food, etc., meant that the Starks also brought prosperity to their people and lands. Wo0dy
Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell, they're all just spokes on a wheel. This one's on top, then that one's on top, and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground.
Is there a rough date for when Melissandre burned down her first godswood? As far as I can tell this would be the timeline from the Others POV. most of it we already know Pre-GoT:Mel breaks the pact Prologue: Others send an emissary group to chat with Lord Stark, or maybe the Lord Commander. Instead they find Ser Royce, and after that went bad they decide that it's wartime Fist: the Others find what they presume to be a preliminary first strike by the Nights Watch, so they go all out and destroy them(scarier still is if that wasn't their full strength at the time) March to the Wall: the Others rout the Watch, and one of theirs is slain, and after that they seem to have backed off until Hardhome, but I haven't gotten that far yet so I don't know details of the attack. But I'm guessing it was either to collect soldiers, or take a good strike opportunity while it was there BUT.....if Mel wasn't responsible, since Stannis may not have hired her yet, then who? The Oldtown Red Priests? Thoros?
One of my favorite topics and you nailed it! I suspect in the books that it will have to do with awakening the sleepers in the crypts to capture the NK a Stark OF WINTERFELL/kin. like Aragorn in LOTR

From the bridge four patreon will you do any videos on stormlight archive or any of sandersons cosmere? I really enjoy your videos and theories and would love to hear some ideas regarding the cosmere primarily tanavast and Hoid
ive always imagined it being simple. just never realized that it probably is another subtle clue to a specific event. (of course, my favorite event... bael the bard) i didnt present it as clearly as i'd have liked. so let me retry the phrase "stark in winterfell" is used 11 times. - 3 of them come in a single scene with Bran speaking to the Liddle (mountain clan man) - 2 are about Robb as Ned's HEIR - 4 are about Brann as Robb's HEIR - once in regards to the "Stark in Winterfell" who only had a female HEIR (Bael's lover) - once in regards to an unnamed stark who fought against the night's watch (unrelated to the night's king - i skipped this one, because i'm mention it in an upcoming video) so it seems to me, that the phrase originated in that whole "bael the bard" scenario, which is one more reason for fans to start acknowledging the story as important in terms of stark ancestry =)
Yes. I listen to the story from a Stark perspective, and I would deny the whole thing and never mention it. So, it must be true! Can't wait for ur next insight on this!
This would kind of explain the night kings weird behavior towards the starks. He could habe killed them multiple times, but he took his time, making sure to make prolonged eye contact, slow and determined steps. His behavior towards each of them was drastically different than his behavior towards Theon and others close to the family. He was usually really quick, decisive and calculating... unless it came to a stark or Jon...
Night’s King is not the Night King. The Night King is the first white walker. Night’s King was, as you said, the thirteenth lord commander of the Night’s Watch, an institution that was created in defense of the white walkers.
[paraphrase starting at 2:50] "These particular Stark soldiers fought under Robb's command just fine, but once there's no Stark in Winterfell they went on a crime spree of asshattery." Yeah, if the only reason those jerks weren't jerks was because they'd be punished for being jerks, the Night King should definitely just kill everyone and start from scratch.
"Yeah, if the only reason those jerks weren't jerks was because they'd be punished for being jerks" sadly I think that's even true for a lot of people in todays society
I just wanted to tell you I think you missed one of the sayings in the show it's when Rob tells bran goodbye he says there must always be a Stark in Winterfell
I had wondered if the necessity of always requiring a "Stark in Winterfell" had a mystical or spiritual necessity, possibly tied to "The North Remembers." I cannot say that I have solid basis for this hypothesis, which your theories always astound me with their shrewdness. As such, do you think there could be spiritual or mystical reasons that a Stark must be in Winterfell, possibly tied to secrets in the crypts or even the weirwood trees?
I was rewatching the show and something hit me, season 7 after Jon snow tells Berick that he "doesn't understand ", Berick says " the lord of the light brought YOU and ME back, NO ONE else." ... but why specify that two times in a row??? Now maybe it's far fetched but I think that might be something G.R.R.M would do. I'm thinking Rheagar Targaryen! Why did he sent his two best men ( including ser Arthur Dayne ) at the the tower and not be there with them? Because he knew Robert would stop at nothing to kill him and if he went to the tower then his son would be killed by Robert. But that's where what Berick said become interesting, what if Rheagar was the other one brought back to life!!! After all, Rheagar was obsessed with prophecies, he was aware of the faceless men and surely the lord of the light. He could have been resurrected by a priestess or priest and went to the house of black and white, therefore Rheagar is Jaqen. He waited till the king Robert died or when he knew that Jon was going to the wall, that's why he was in a cell on his way to castle black when he met Arya Stark, who is like Lyanna and then he decided to trained her so she can survive the long night. Let me think what you guys think
Michael Duguay; Sorry, I Don't See That! If Rhaegar Was Brought Back, It's Not Arya He Would've Been Interested In! It Would've Been Dany & Her Brother! Cause Everyone, Everywhere Knew Of Dany's Dragons ,Which Is The Prophecy He Would Have Longed To See Come True! 😎
Johnny Skinwalker; Hmm Yeah, Even Ned Saw His Sister In Arya! But If Rhaegar Was Brought Back, Let's Say As "No One" He Would Still Be More Interested In Dany &The The Dragons! He Lived & Breathed His Whole Life For His Legacy & Prophecy! At The End Of The Day, Arya Would Still Be A Stark Child As Opposed To Queen Daenarys Stormborn.
I appreciate your input and I believe you may be right. I just remember reading he was hurt in a fight and like the series, she offered to clean the wound because it included fire, he wouldn't let her touch him. Again, I remember reading something about the wound smelling so bad and he was in and out of a fever, either she left him or she used the needle to finish him. I don't remember which book. Thanks for the heads up, I will probably start rereading the books again before the last series start in April.
Major loophole in GOT that I noticed. In several references to the last time the night King attacked, he was defeated with the use of a valerian steel weapon. When Arya killed him be burst like shattered glass. I would assume that this happened to him in his prior defeats. Then why does he keep coming back? I would assume that either there is more than one night King or what was killed was a high-ranking white that answers to the real night King. On the even more bazar side I would point out that it is possible that someone needs to take his place as the night King, perhaps someone with an evil streak like Cereci or perhaps the one that killed the last night King. I noticed that in the story that a lot of power has shifted towards women; Iron Islands, Iron Throne, Daenerys, and I got a feeling that John Snow is going south leaving Sansa in Winterfell and at some point to become the next Warden of the North. So it is not much of a leap for the next night King may be a night Queen.

That, and also that the Stark blood is what prevents the dead of the crypts arise.
Your channel is very informative without spoiling anything, you are quickly becoming my favorite.
thanks for the kind words and support =))
I always felt it was ment for when winter comes , “The Night King” . There has to be a Stark in Winterfell. Because it must only be a Stark that can defeat the Night King.
Or maybe that’s part of the deal with the children of the forest... it’s called winter fell for a reason, that’s where the winter fell
what do you mean?
winterfell is the place children of the forest created night king he means maybe
It the first place you see the trees. The final battle place of the previous war.
@@flyitrightbaby Winter came to an end
Fell means terrible, and monstrous, and there's an element of the supernatural to it.
Rodger P Na m8 bran is the night king so
@@random_eskimo_in_the_rockies in GOT bloodlines are important, for example, only Targaryens can ride dragons, and there is a lot of theory why specific Targaryens can while others cant, and it has a lot to do with the right genes handed down from generation to generation.
Didn’t Robb say it to Bran when he had to leave Winterfell. He said “There must always be a Stark in Winterfell” am I wrong?
I feel sad for Theon. His father was an ass. No son or daughter deserve that treatment. It was hos Father's treatment that made him do things.
Thanks for reminding me of how deeply sad Yara's attempted rescue of Theon/Reek was. It was heart-wrenching.
For sure
Her voice over lead9ng into it wss gnarly! Great actress
I love your channel so much. Your ideas are interesting without being overbearing, really makes me think. Plus you have a great voice. Keep up the good work.
This is the best breakdown of GOT, The voice especially, I could listen to that narrator for hours
thanks, Kenneth!
Ned chanted a prayer before dying.
Calling that prayer magic
That magic rested his soul in the catacombs of winterhold.
The swords are there to keep them there. The spirits will fight at winterfell and that imo is what arya is running from. Dead decapitated daddy
we all know now that the real reason for "there must always be a stark in winterfell" is to protect the north from the night kind and as the name suggest it's ('winter''fell')
Rob told Brand that there must always be a Stark in Winterfell also
Yea, I'm surprised that was overlooked. I was just checking the comments to see who else had caught it lol
I guessed you missed it because there was a scene Robb told Bran there is always a Stark in Winter fell when he was leaving for wat to the south
Love how in depth your videos go. Can’t wait for season 8
:))
About that..
"There must always be...A Lich King"
Frostmourne hungers...
For the horde!
Rob uses the phrase when he's talking to Bran later in season 1, before he leaves with the army.
When there is no more Stark in Winterfel Winter Come I guess, the old brother from the north come down to clean it up.
I think that Bael's son could not have become the Night King, because it is said that his son, new Lord Stark of Winterfell, was later killed and skinned alive by the Boltons. Or maybe it's just made-up, official version of the history to cover up that whole thing and then this theory could be true. Great video as always!
Night king is a Stark....did they start walking to fulfill..."A Stark should always be in the winterfell."
Nope. The Night King is no one.
How the hell after all this time ive subscribed to countless youtubers who break down GOT have i never seen your videos!?! Subscribed and notifications on
I believe When Theon said “Prince” he was referring to himself as Prince of the Iron Born.
Dual meaning
Grrm titles chapters for whoever has the POV. So we get theon 1, theon 2, etc
Then reek 1, reek 2, reek 3, then "the prince of winterfell"
It into what Jon said to him
You're a stark and you're a greyjoy. You don't have to choose
1million views! Congrats man, been here since the beginning. Glad to see you rising up!
I’m so excited to hear everything!!!
Your voice is so calming, I’m nye on falling asleep just listening to you!
It says my app is too old to view......I think I'm too old to know what to do about it.
it goes live tuesday @12:30pm. its just a live chat until then (and this non live comment section)
Lol
Update your TH-cam app
It's also said by sansa in season 7 that there must always be a stark in winterfell
Spot on
I know you probably won't agree but Im still gonna tell you.
I came across your channel for the first time today, mannnnn you have such a beautiful voice!!!!
Thanks :))
It’s very quiet and calm
"My real father lost his head at Kings Landing". That was strong...
After the crypts of winter fell teaser that dropped, this theory is even more believable!!!!
Rahul Puppala I bet we get to see the awakening of the crypts in this final season to face the nightking
Night king
@B4
Great Analysis. Thanks. Here's some thoughts not really necessary for your point, but that emphasize it:
The Maiden Girl's "Name-Day Gown" is GRRM's euphemism for today's "Birthday Suit" or "Naked as a Jaybird" phrases.
Wo0dy
Omfg your voice is soooo soothing 🤤 #subscribed
thanks =))
Same here 😁
Woohoo! All set! So excited)))
What if there must be always a Stark in winterfell means that those in the crypt aren t really dead
Read Martin's The Ice Dragon, it will hint at the origins and function of Winterfell.
Keep trying lol
Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell, they're all just spokes on a wheel. This one's on top, then that one's on top, and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground.
Is there a rough date for when Melissandre burned down her first godswood?
As far as I can tell this would be the timeline from the Others POV. most of it we already know
Pre-GoT:Mel breaks the pact
Prologue: Others send an emissary group to chat with Lord Stark, or maybe the Lord Commander. Instead they find Ser Royce, and after that went bad they decide that it's wartime
Fist: the Others find what they presume to be a preliminary first strike by the Nights Watch, so they go all out and destroy them(scarier still is if that wasn't their full strength at the time)
March to the Wall: the Others rout the Watch, and one of theirs is slain, and after that they seem to have backed off until Hardhome, but I haven't gotten that far yet so I don't know details of the attack.
But I'm guessing it was either to collect soldiers, or take a good strike opportunity while it was there
BUT.....if Mel wasn't responsible, since Stannis may not have hired her yet, then who? The Oldtown Red Priests? Thoros?
QuantumTap bravo mate I like that the sound of that!!!!!
I STAN YOUR VISUALS KEV! 😍🤩😍🤩
One of my favorite topics and you nailed it! I suspect in the books that it will have to do with awakening the sleepers in the crypts to capture the NK a Stark OF WINTERFELL/kin. like Aragorn in LOTR
The Lady Olenna Tyrell would love to see that in the show
GRRM is too good of a writer to just copy this blatantly I think.
"Hey dood what you doin?"
"Oh ya know, just chillin in Winterfell"
^.^
I am really looking forward to this video--I am sure you will blow my mind as always ⚡️
Your voice is PERFECT for narration!
I just became a channel member. You're special Bridge4, and have given me so much to think about. Also I love the name from "The Way of Kings" Have you ever read the "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn" books by Tad Williams? I would love your analysis of them. Also "The Kingkiller Chronicles" by Patrick Rothfuss. Anyhow, glad to be a member. Keep up the excellent work!
i own some of the Tad Williams i think but havent had a chance to crack them open yet unfortunately :( ive been so jammed with asoiaf since i began makgini youtube videos (to an unhealthy l;evel lol)
ive done kingkiller 2 or 3 times so far. love most of it, with the exception of the tangent with the fairy elf girl. and ironically,. thats probably the most imporanmt part, which means, i need to reread the stories agian lol
Theres also another one when robb says " there must always be a stark in winterfell and until i return that'll be you" when he's leaving to get his dad
His voice is music to my ears
Robb tells Brann that there must always be a stark in winterfell. He says this right before he leaves winterfell.
Ancient Magic, the Stark's are part of the spell, hence "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell".
Optionsaregood that magic could awaken against the night king and rise the dead from the crypts to face him that would be cool to see
From the bridge four patreon will you do any videos on stormlight archive or any of sandersons cosmere? I really enjoy your videos and theories and would love to hear some ideas regarding the cosmere primarily tanavast and Hoid
Season 1 episode 2 isn't the only time FYI. Robb explicitly states it again to Bran in Season 1 episode 8 too.
ArchieZeroOne yeah ano thought that also
I've thought about what that statement really means for so long, I never imagined the answer was so simple.
ive always imagined it being simple. just never realized that it probably is another subtle clue to a specific event. (of course, my favorite event... bael the bard)
i didnt present it as clearly as i'd have liked. so let me retry
the phrase "stark in winterfell" is used 11 times.
- 3 of them come in a single scene with Bran speaking to the Liddle (mountain clan man)
- 2 are about Robb as Ned's HEIR
- 4 are about Brann as Robb's HEIR
- once in regards to the "Stark in Winterfell" who only had a female HEIR (Bael's lover)
- once in regards to an unnamed stark who fought against the night's watch (unrelated to the night's king - i skipped this one, because i'm mention it in an upcoming video)
so it seems to me, that the phrase originated in that whole "bael the bard" scenario, which is one more reason for fans to start acknowledging the story as important in terms of stark ancestry =)
Yes. I listen to the story from a Stark perspective, and I would deny the whole thing and never mention it. So, it must be true! Can't wait for ur next insight on this!
:))
Great video, but im 99% sure robb said it to bran when he was in bed, i may need to watch season 1 again. Im a new subscriber.
You're right. He did :)
Always enjoy your videos. you said that you would continue and go over the north remembers in a later video. but I'm not sure which one that is
12min of nothing
FilipFon lol ano could’ve fkin summarised the entire video of bs by saying some starks die in war
This would kind of explain the night kings weird behavior towards the starks. He could habe killed them multiple times, but he took his time, making sure to make prolonged eye contact, slow and determined steps. His behavior towards each of them was drastically different than his behavior towards Theon and others close to the family. He was usually really quick, decisive and calculating... unless it came to a stark or Jon...
great video! i cant wait for the next part! congrats on 100K!! :-D
thanks, Chrissy :))
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 can’t wait til the next installment. Thanks Kev.
There's one more scene in season 2 when Robb said the same thing to Brandon
Night’s King is not the Night King. The Night King is the first white walker. Night’s King was, as you said, the thirteenth lord commander of the Night’s Watch, an institution that was created in defense of the white walkers.
only time will tell
[paraphrase starting at 2:50] "These particular Stark soldiers fought under Robb's command just fine, but once there's no Stark in Winterfell they went on a crime spree of asshattery."
Yeah, if the only reason those jerks weren't jerks was because they'd be punished for being jerks, the Night King should definitely just kill everyone and start from scratch.
"Yeah, if the only reason those jerks weren't jerks was because they'd be punished for being jerks" sadly I think that's even true for a lot of people in todays society
Oh, man did I miss these vids! I’ve got some catching up to do.
I just wanted to tell you I think you missed one of the sayings in the show it's when Rob tells bran goodbye he says there must always be a Stark in Winterfell
Really nice one :) Thank you
Congrats on 100K subscribers!
thanks =)))
You are very Welcome! Keep the great videos coming, they are the best on yt
The phrase is also used by Robb when he goes south in a conversation with Bran
Your Logic Sir...is UN-Smeshable.
lol, i dont know what that means. is that a good or bad thing!?
hi btw!
That means, I watched your pre fight warm up and I spent 45 bucks and was Very glad I Did. Lmao.
God love you and you're OCD about ASOIAF. it has saved a many....me for sure. Leeeeroy Jenkins.
Really awesome thinking
Jon meeting his son again would be incredible
Michael Duguay; Sorry, I Don't See That! If Rhaegar Was Brought Back, It's Not Arya He Would've Been Interested In! It Would've Been Dany & Her Brother! Cause Everyone, Everywhere Knew Of Dany's Dragons ,Which Is The Prophecy He Would Have Longed To See Come True! 😎
Melva Burke but don't forget that in the books at least it says that Lyanna was a splitting image of Arya.
In the book the hound was killed by Arya after the read wedding in the book, however the series took it a different way and gave him life.
arya didnt kill him in the books. he begged and she walked away
its heavily implied that he is the gravedigger at the quiet isle
I appreciate your input and I believe you may be right. I just remember reading he was hurt in a fight and like the series, she offered to clean the wound because it included fire, he wouldn't let her touch him. Again, I remember reading something about the wound smelling so bad and he was in and out of a fever, either she left him or she used the needle to finish him. I don't remember which book. Thanks for the heads up, I will probably start rereading the books again before the last series start in April.
What took me so long to find this gem of a channel?? 🤔
You're too kind :))
Danny did see the red keep filled with snow even tho they stopped the night king. 🤔.
Bro your voice is the best American voice i have ever heard,

In season 1 episode 8, when Rob leaves winterfell to go south, he also says the exact same words to Bran ,when he asks to go with him
So basically u could say there must always b a lannister in casterly rock, or an umber in last hearth??? I doubt heirs is the reason for the saying.
Your voice is amazing and soothing...
God I forgot how impossibly intricate and amazing the.books are.
I reeeeeealy wish the books (any edition!!) had given about 2 inches of space lined at the bottom of each page. Cause in reading, I was seeing connections and remembering people and ideas. 3 lines at the bottom would surely beat any of my softcover book ed . where Damn near every page was scribbled and highlighted to bits.
I feel sorry for Martin having to move about all these separate strands of people, myths and truths and continue to weave each tiny detail into the story to flow along expertly. But he has a legion of ready volunteers on the net to help with outer strands. He seems to be a fan of the Checkohv's Gun Theory in writing
the file im using right now for the videos between now and the show is 1273 pages of quotes, notes, ideas, outlines, and rough draft. and i have a 234 page arya word doc for upcoming videos too lol
these books are so dense. i see new things every time i read a chapter =))
I need a podcast with this voice omydays, I could've passed my exams if all my teachers had this voice
