Glad you enjoyed mate! Try to visit at least one new cafe every week and show it to you guys. Got 5 new ones coming up in the next two weeks so stay tuned 👀
I remember last year, me and my friend got to make the first drink for a customer at a 2nd location for a local coffee shop's grand opening. We got to be the first barista leads there after a month of helping set up shop which was immensely rewarding! The espresso machine's name was Stacy (my favorite espresso machine I've ever operated, and brand new at that). One of the great memories of my life, especially coming back there every now and then to check on how the shop's doing :) I can't imagine how exciting it must of been to be among the first to serve at a café like that! It was also really fun to see you share some tips with your mates, brought back great memories
That moment when the trainees referred to your swan art as a turkey! 🤦♂😁 You're a good sport & they were lucky to have you as a trainer! Great vid as usual!
Laufey and cafes are literally the best combination, and I don’t really like coffee, but watching Connor’s videos make me want to drink coffee and set up my own cafes 😭
I recently watched a James Hoffmann video on how to steam milk, and it's really satisfying recognizing all the little gestures when you do it now. I don't own a steaming wand, nor have I ever owned it.
I am a Barista from Uruguay, I don't have my work experience yet, but I love your videos! They give me an idea what it will be like to work on that when I get it! :)
Excited as always to watch you work! 😄❤ Isn't spoons supposed to be near the saucers for ease and efficiency in delivery? or like the far placement of refrigerator? Their layout seems hectic and a bit inefficient for barista's user experience no? Anyway hope this new café does great! Much support to you as well! ✌🤩
Thanks mate! Yeah that’s a good point- we had a good discussion on the day about reworking the layout to help with workflow. For example I think they’ll move the grinder to the other side as well so it’s near the knock box. I’ll be going back there in a few weeks so look out for an update! Thanks for watching!
Love your videos man! I'm a barista aswell and I just love to see your passion to make quality made coffees☕️ Keep up the great work yeah! Also would you know which espresso machine this was used in this video? 😄
Hey, great video as always! I was wondering how it works for you like to go to differents coffee shops everytime like, do you have a week long contract everytime or maybe it's something idk about ? anyway thank you if someone answers and keep up Connor we love your videos!
hi connor! i love watching your videos and was wondering how you get to work at a variety of coffee shops? do you pick up shifts through an app? i'm looking to do the same :)
I mentioned this too them, it’s only there first day though. To negate the pre ground element of the grinder I recommend keeping the chamber quite low as well. It should still be as fresh as possible.
With the coffe in one hand, and the ready milk in other, first thing u don’t start directly with the art, u have to mix the coffe with the milk first and after u start drawing something beginning on the side of the cup, not in the middle looking to where the milk is going, not to where it falls, look at 16:48
They’re not unnecessary if they make the experience of the drink better IMO. It’s so much more than just a quick coffee- how does it taste? How does it look? Does the texture feel like silk as you sip it? Does the person behind the bar actually care or are they just treating it like another coffee? This is my passion. For me, getting the drink made quicker would be a lack of care.
No idea why your videos appeared on my recommended, but hella satisfying to just chill out and watch.

Exactly 😂😂
Same😂
London is truly blessed with so many good independent coffee shops
Ikr, you literally can’t go anywhere in London without finding one. Makes my job super fun!
It's always refreshing to see a new café :) We appreciate the frequent uploads Connor! Cheers ☕
This one was super cute! Glad you’re enjoying the content- plenty more to come 👀
Best wishes and great success to Soto Coffee. Thank you, Connor, for bringing attention to the new, and interesting coffee houses in the London area.

Thank you! I have 5 cafes lined up in the next 10 days so definitely not stopping 👀

I don't own a steaming wand, nor have I ever owned it.
Been watching for about 2 weeks, just got my barista job last week and love watching your videos
hillarious how the demonstration effect kicks in at the end

your videos are my comfort video.
I'm Filipino and my ears perked up when he mentioned Milo (the chocolate energy drink [with a kid kicking a ball on a green packet] indeed) 😂 😂
I love the shoutout to Nestle Milo. XD
Excited as always to watch you work! 😄❤

Painful grinder

It's hard to make a design for me
With the coffe in one hand, and the ready milk in other, first thing u don’t start directly with the art, u have to mix the coffe with the milk first and after u start drawing something beginning on the side of the cup, not in the middle looking to where the milk is going, not to where it falls, look at 16:48
One of the last clips in this video was me helping to train one of the baristas, that might help?
@diniz8881 I knew that but the design is terrible
So many unnecessary moves 😧
He is not rushing
They’re not unnecessary if they make the experience of the drink better IMO.
