I did this in 2016 to Heathrow. Back then the route was Sao Paulo to Addis Ababa, with a stopover in Lome in Togo. We had an 11 hour connection in Addis Ababa, so we were prepared to spend the night in the airport. Imagine our surprise when, while checking in in Sao Paulo, we discovered that Ethiopian provide a hotel for overnight connections. Not only that, but we would have transfers to and from the hotel, and dinner and breakfast included aswell. The hotel was lovely, a Radisson, and the food was nice. We flew to London the next day, and it was on the 11th of September, which just happens to be Ethiopian New Year! So the whole city had a very festive feel about it, it was very cool.
The star represents the unity of all Ethiopian nationalities, its rays the bright prospects for their future. Blue is for peace, yellow for hope, justice, and equality. Red represents sacrifice for freedom and equality, while green is equated with labour, development, and fertility.

Villainous foreigner ignorance. That was a long time ago. It’s one of the wealthiest and most developed countries in Africa
Villainous foreigner what country are you from?
That flight path from Brazil to the African continent has to be one of the scariest in the world. If the plane encounters difficulties you got nothing but ocean for thousands of miles.
I bet the food was great! I had some Ethiopian at a restaurant called Kaffa in Camden, London. Best vegetarian food I’ve ever had.
btw I’ve not watched the video yet. Just at the start
Sounds like a milk run. Great vision on take off of the massive city that Sao Paulo !! Seats look pretty good and a bonus with no one next door !! Service on the flight and the food looked great !!And the scenery over Africa is as good as you can see !! Like you I find it annoying that after flying Business Class you have to board a bus with everyone else to get to the terminal. I would have thought they may have provided a Business Class bus...but not many airlines do !! Oh the green fields on England !! Great trip report as always Noel and it appears Ethiopian Airlines have a great product in Business Class !! Well done mate as always !!
Doing my first cloud nine flight with Ethiopian in a few weeks from now. Looking forward to my 9 hour flight 👍
Thank you for choosing Ethiopia airline love from Ethiopia

Very long journey .thanks for sharing with us .loved this video.
I really enjoy when you go to places like South America and Africa, places I will likely never see.
Nice to hear you enjoy flying Ethiopian.
I am a big Manchester United fan, I've a plan to come visit Manchester and watch a United game. I was hoping to see Oldtraford when fly down to Manchester 😅
I saw a big building with "RED" on it. But it isn't Oldtraford.
Your videos must help change points of view, on some not so well known Airlines. Well done, as I am sure these Airlines appreciate the good comments, when they earn them. It's easy to rubbish things you know very little, or nothing about. Big thumbs up to you Sir, for telling it as it is.
😊
Hey Bro, we flew last year with Ethiopian from EZE - ADD - MXP (772 & 788 - -16'500km ) with technical stop in GRU and FCO. Yeah crazy flight as well!
Strange thing with that stop at Brussels. When you do Brussels-Cape Town with Ethiopian, they do a stop at… Vienna!
I flew business class from YYZ to ADD in July and it was a great fight. Fantastic food and great FA’s. However, that was not the safety video I saw. Great review thanks!!
👌🏻...🙂 أحسنت فيديو رائع ومشوق
أتمنى أن تستمر وإلى رحلات أخرى إن شاءألله. 🌷
