    The resin buttons would be great to make for/with my grandkids. I would definitely look for a mould for a set of round buttons. My mom knit lots of Cardi's for my sons and started out using clever shaped buttons. But they were hard to button and never stayed closed. Colorful round buttons looked great.
    Your new hair color is fabulous!! !Great to complement your colorful wardrobe.

      Thanks so much Mary Beth! I can see that fun shaped buttons would be difficult for knits. I haven't had any issues with wovens though. But round is good when all the interest is coming from the color and additives 💕

    Hi Michelle - Fun to watch this video. I always enjoy seeing what you are doing. I am not interested in making buttons but liked watching. I have done other crafts besides sewing. I have always cross stitched. A year ago however, I found Flosstube which has introduced me to a whole new world of cross stitch that I am enjoying. Take Care

    • @MichelleSewsAgain
      @MichelleSewsAgain  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The buttons literally just pop out of the mold but I appreciate the feedback - next time I'll show that bit 😊. As for how much stuff you need to buy - it depends on how you want to customize the buttons. I have bought a lot of "add ins". All you NEED to have is the 2 part resin and a button mold. That will allow you to make clear buttons. Then you can buy stuff for add ins as you see fit 😊

    The buttons came out so pretty! Thanks for sharing the process. My mom would have loved them. She considered the buttons on her outfits as the jewelry. She would purchase several different button cards, bring them home and take the buttons off the cards to see which ones she liked best on her outfit. Then of course she couldn't return them since they were off the cards. So when she died my sister and I had a great time going through all her leftover buttons and dividing them up.

    Oh I loved this and I want to make some now ❤. You do have lots of kit though and I can see the temptation to buy more and more colours and moulds 😅. I can't understand how the holes come out clean though, have you ever had to 're drill' them or anything? This is just up your street with your talent for colour and originality 😍. Thanks for sharing this xx

    • @MichelleSewsAgain
      @MichelleSewsAgain  ปีที่แล้ว

      You SHOULD make some! I did have to redrill the holes when I first started making them and didn't know to scrape off the excess on the top. But I didn't have any issues with this batch.

    Nice buttons are so hard to find especially ones to coordinate with a specific project. I was just thinking…I have leftover seed beads from stitchery projects…could be a good use for button filler! Love the purple color you chose and it would go with either fabric choice. Have you felt you need/want to change your clothing color pallet to go with your new hair? Just wondering… 😊. Hercules is such a doll. I’m glad he’s happy in doggie daycare so you can travel a bit. Thanks again for sharing.

    • @MichelleSewsAgain
