Wow! Didn't know that! But I get your point...I would absolutely prefer a live teacher as well. Zoom is ok, but to me, it feels a bit naahh. What sized city/town you live in? @@guitaristnextdoor8430 I'm in NYC. There used to be in-person guitar teachers around, but they disappeared during the pandemic and they moved to Zoom. Yeah, I have conversations or Meetup groups on Zoom but for playing music it's just awkward. I even put out some ads on the local sites, but people don't even want to jam in person either. There are jam sessions and teachers further downtown from me but it's too far for me to drag my guitar and gear on the train. It would be different if I had a car I suppose.

I've been looking for guitar teachers near me but no one wants to do in person anymore. I just don't learn well over Zoom.
