It's in my top 5 vampire flics, and I'm not some gatekeeper of the genre, love a scary vampire movie as opposed to twilight or even blade, I like the horror ones. At the stoker party thanks, not the Anne rice party. I don't like depressed vampires
Hollyweird is the Divorce Capital of the World! If people want to point the finger in why a growing number of men do NOT believe in the institution of marriage, they can point their finger at Hollyweird! 🤣🤡🤦♂️
I have always admired Josh Hartnett - since first seeing him in theaters in 2001 at age 16, I could tell that he had a sincerity to his performances. Hollywood just likes to package people like him as cookie-cutter flavors of the year before moving on to the "next big thing" but he has never been one to want to fall into the trap.
Yah Hollywood loves to do that. They have their next big thing and suck everything that makes them good out and fill them back up with depravity then throw them away or spit them out or in rare cases depending if that actor was willingly a bad person or not get them into evil despicable shit and turn on them. Hollywood doesn't care about any of people who makes them money they just syphon the talent and make them into an empty shell.
Josh Harnett put his entirely knowledge of 'the craft' into his work, and it showed. He wants to make GREAT movies...not necessarily make money. Respect.
He became 1 of my favorite actors when the faculty came out. Even some of his independent work is great, Ida Red, Bunruku. And I think he would be amazing as Leon Kennedy.
He is actually a beautiful soul I’ve seen some of his movies but didn’t really know much about him as I guess he was low key but it’s good to know he knows his worth ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sleven Calevra was my dude. He embodied the personality perfectly...and still does. Josh Harnett is still one of my favorite actors. His role in Bunraku was stellar, and Ron Pearlman and Demi Moore were great, as well.
Love Hartnett and I will NEVER give this up….he is THE perfect casting for Harvey Dent/Two Face. Perfect. Matt Reeves and/or James Gunn, make it happen.
Remember you cant sell your soul. Its not yours to sell. Though you can be tricked into thinking you have sold it and that there is no reason to stop living in your greed and sin.
My favorite first joshh harnett role i ever saw well at least where i actually noticed him because i could have seen him movies before but didn't notice was penny dreadful. I loved that show even though i think the ending was rushed due to it being cancelled. It was my favorite role he was in.
You have to advocate for yourself. I've always been a huge fan of Josh Hartnett since Halloween: H20 and The Faculty. I knew that he was taking time off, and i knew he would come back on his own terms.
You can hardly blame him. Not everyone is wired for the jankcopter that is Hollywon't. Still... that said... Shylamanan(sp) is the absolute WORST director and "writer" ever. 🤮 To this day, I don't see what was so interesting about ANY of his films. They're drawn out, boring, deliberately subversive and stingy with clarity (for stupid shock value's sake)... and they make absolutely no sense.
Technically, Hollywood didn't put him on the "blacklist", he put himself on the "blacklist"... it's like if you come to a new company and you work as a bathroom cleaner, you work well, the boss sees you and says "ehh you work Good" I offer you another position in the company and it pays better... and you say "no thanks", the logical thing is that the boss will no longer offer you anything and will offer it to someone else.😂
Solid you clearly wasn't listen when the speaker said Josh didn't want to commit to the title and he wasn't blacklisted. He said fame was making him uncomfortable.
Out of nothing. He just wants us to know people and learn what experience they gone through. Check out a podcast or anything about anyone that gone through things, not just famous. Normal people like you and I.(I think, I’m not famous or anything big).
30 days of Night is one of my favorite movies ❤
Such a good Movie
Love that movie so much.

Great film adaptation
@@alexknox814What’s your top 5? Genuinely interested
I always liked Josh hartnett. Iam glad he did things his own way. You gotta do what makes you happy and content. 😊
Josh Hartnett is great. Penny Dreadful was so underrated. I'm happy to see him popping up in more high profile projects these days.
That movie lucky number slevin was so clever and had a whole “10 steps ahead meets revenge best served cold” altogether. It’s a great movie imo.
What a banger!!!
I came here to say just that
Josh is a stand up down to Earth guy. If any actor desires success; it's him.
He REFUSED all the B.S. of Hollywood!
He has a beautiful wife. No wonder he wants to focus more on life, than Hellyweird, where marriages are treated like dirty underwear.

A mixture of Keanu Reeves and Heath Ledger.
I remember right before H2O I was in his little brother’s fifth grade class. That was trippy to me.
Early episodes of Penny Dreadful were incredible. It eventually went a little of the rails.
Sleven Calevra was my dude. He embodied the personality perfectly...and still does.
Josh Harnett is still one of my favorite actors. His role in Bunraku was stellar, and Ron Pearlman and Demi Moore were great, as well.
Man made chess moves in a world forcing those to play checkers. Smart move my guy! Important.
It's nice to see a comeback not burdened by the pressure to bow on everyone's mind.
The faculty was so cool!
Good for him!! I've always been a fan & will watch anything he is connected to.❤
Love Hartnett and I will NEVER give this up….he is THE perfect casting for Harvey Dent/Two Face. Perfect. Matt Reeves and/or James Gunn, make it happen.
30 days of night, the faculty, and black hawk down my favorite from Josh hartnett
I love hearing this information to understand more about him
Glad you enjoyed!
Spiderman Batman Superman. This man should have played all in one. Nightwing.
Josh did NOT stray too far from his Midwest roots, despite making a name for himself in showbiz!
I saw TRAPT for Hartnett too
I respected this actor back in the days but he disappeared 😢
Oh my Josh! Keanu 2.0🙌🏻
Great video. Not a huge fan of Josh but sounds like he made the right choice for his family.
Good job mate! Keep on going
Your videos continue to get better king, well done!
@@lukabazookastj9462 Cheers bro, glad you enjoyed!

Truth!!!! You cannot sell your soul, your WILL however, is all on YOU!!!!!:/
What is a soul and how does one detect it?
@@h91rex100 it's something edgy bois don't worry about until they have kids or O.D. one to many times
This makes me love him even more.
Awesome vid brother
Thanks for watching king
I saw him in the London stage play Rain Man. I've also seen Christian Slater in the Glengarry Glen Ross play. Both brilliant.
Some say this is the best video on youtube
Don't say that my ego can't handle it
I wondered what happened to him. Really great video!
My favorite first joshh harnett role i ever saw well at least where i actually noticed him because i could have seen him movies before but didn't notice was penny dreadful. I loved that show even though i think the ending was rushed due to it being cancelled. It was my favorite role he was in.
5:19 that’s insane! I’d choose friends and family over Hollywood. Crazy the can control you like that.
How does this only have 82 views
Wicker Park is also very good! A pretty good adaptation of The Apartment 😊
I love Josh since 1997 and i will always love him❤
Good for him, I always liked Josh as a fine actor
I remember hearing about this when Batman begins, came out. Everybody was talking about why he turned it down.
why did i not recognize him in the virgin suicides
You have to advocate for yourself. I've always been a huge fan of Josh Hartnett since Halloween: H20 and The Faculty. I knew that he was taking time off, and i knew he would come back on his own terms.
He also filmed on the faculty while working on h20 at the same time
Clever man
He did sell his soul. You dont get that many big roles without doing so.
No way he didn’t get that deep.
Really? He got circumcised?
If there are any pictures of him throwing up signs then he's in the club.
What program do you use to edit videos?
Sin City was cool 😎
Faculty to Black Hawk Down to 30 Days of Night👌 , always wondered why he wasn't as prominent 🤔@6:27 He lives locally, wtf? Be crazy to spot him out.
Lucky number sleven is a banger!
There were many amazing actors who gave Oscar worthy performances in the show Penny Dreadful. I can see why Josh took that role
His episode on black mirror messed me up
"a horror show called Penny Deadful". That's it?? 🤦
You can hardly blame him. Not everyone is wired for the jankcopter that is Hollywon't. Still... that said... Bro forgot The Faculty 💀
Yea amazing movie he was good on Halloween H20 too
He was badass in the faculty
He mentioned the Faculty
He literally says it 1:50
he literally mentions it like a min into the video lol
A really clever man, i bet his parents teached him the importance of a healthy and normal life since his childhood
Good for him.
I’ve seen Oppenheimer…..I didn’t know he was in it😂
He almost looks like a young Tommy Lee Jones
He's a hollywood actor, he sold his soul years ago!
I thought he was gonna be the nxt Matt Dillon..
How could he? He willingly injected himself with vampire blood and disintegrated at sunrise.
Josh ♥nett
He could be a great older Hal Jordan
He was blacklisted after rejecting Superman, you did not mention that
Technically, Hollywood didn't put him on the "blacklist", he put himself on the "blacklist"... it's like if you come to a new company and you work as a bathroom cleaner, you work well, the boss sees you and says "ehh you work Good" I offer you another position in the company and it pays better... and you say "no thanks", the logical thing is that the boss will no longer offer you anything and will offer it to someone else.😂

Trap was fun, I hated Mnight for Avatar but this was fun
They have Sean Faris play the role / character of Cristiano Ronaldo , imagine would they would have made this guy do
Because selling your soul is bad.
guy from trap
Are we sure that he didn’t sell his soul? Where’s the proof?😊
true siiiiig!
I saw Pearl Harbor, that was sellout enough for me.
Oh, shut up 😂
@ sucks to suck. 🤷🏻♂️
Dudes a lizard bro
🦎
Probably ran out of money
Josh is a Communist at heart 😊
He just married and had children, you make this huge story out of nothing lol
Out of nothing. He just wants us to know people and learn what experience they gone through. Check out a podcast or anything about anyone that gone through things, not just famous. Normal people like you and I.(I think, I’m not famous or anything big).
@derossi keep up the good work. I loved your videos!!!
Ever seen penny dreadful? I'd argue he sold a bit of his soul in that one
Money over fame any day 🏴☠️
All you TH-camrs using the same music is really possing me off. Be original
