To speed up collecting fat for pvp explosive rounds/etc Go to emerald station. Farm all of the duck/geese in the usual areas. Once finished. Hit start. Select online..select free roam You will load into the same area with a high chance of the ducks and geese having respawned.
I love Slow&Steady when collecting in areas with predator animals -- getting the kill when not getting bucked off horse. BUT aiming and using dead eye needs to be activated for it to work. Thanks for the awesome video Cat!
I knew a lot of tips thanks to your videos And knew some by playing myself Even tho i played rdr 2 for 1400+ hours now (600+ hours story mode 800+ online) this shows just how much this game had to offer
2:59 I did that exact mistake when I started playing RDO. To me it seemed obvious that the bandolier that shows your character with bullets would increase my ammo count.
You carried me through this game for years, im now 165 and I knew 92% of the tips. However I still haven't purchased the naturalist role😂 big horse fumble.

Well, keeping a count made a long list more engaging! There were a full 27 tips I didn’t know about, and also a handful I already knew but don’t use just out of opinion but maybe I’ll give them a go for variety. A day in which I learn 20+ more things to try out in RDO is a good day.
If a player is using god mode, lasso them, hog tie them, pick them up and throw them through the door of a nearby locked door of a house or building. They'll have to leave lobby to get out which will take them out of god mode.

great job. i played this game thousands of hours with multiple accounts and i still learned a few things. thanks.....btw there is one thing about hardcore PVP modes: you will be using your owned (upgraded) weapons so high lvl players still have a little advantage besides being used to the game
Thanks for all the tips. There were 4 I didn't know yet and I've been playing since May 19. There's a lot of them I'm not using so the list was a good reminder for me. 🤠
Im at level 445 currently, all roles maxed out for quite a while, and have watched most of your videos but still learned 9 new things today! I can't overstate the impact you've had on my ability to play and enjoy this game... to the point where Rockstar should be sponsoring all of these videos. I wouldn't be playing this game that i love so much without pvpcat. I had completely written off red dead online at level 18 until i started watching this channel.
I'll play along and make a list: - didn't know explosions regenerated dead eye -didn't know health regen faster in cover - wagon trick to re spawn horse.. but I never revive my horses anyway lol - camp raid only happens if your flag is lowered, must be why I've never seen it happen to me (maybe they should add benefit to lowering the flag) - knew wagons had autopilot, but didnt know it worked for player markers - tonics/consumables page shortcut -bayou nwa moonshine fast travel trick [would be useful if my shack was still there lol]
Sokething you missed about knocking bounty targets out, in my experience you can knock them out however you want, with your hands, the butt of a gun, doesn't matter, but if you are helping someone doing bounty missions, don't knock them out, idk if its just me but anytime I have done bounty missions with other people, knocked out bounty targets get marked as dead on the other players screens
i recently got back into the game religiously.. and yet i find myself back here multiple times, lowkey taking notes on some things i've learned due to my poor memory
To keep your stamina from draining when fist fighting simply spam square then circle over and over. You will not lose stamina and you will block most punches. Use the left stick to dodge and move to land punches.
about the treasure maps, a player can get 2 chances every 72 hours, spawn as a random event (treasure hunter or finding one hang on a tree) and by looting enemies
Pretty sure looting enemies it's endless opportunities... I've definitely had more than 2 in a day like that, and had them on trees/treasure hunter on top Mind, I literally loot _everyone,_ lol
As for #24, I have had npc attack my camp twice, and both times flag was up. One time time I was away, dog fetched me. The other time, I had just logged in. It showed up as an event on my camp. Also, there were a few of these I didn't know about. Thanks. :)
I’ve been playing since beta. The first two tips I did not know. 🤷🏽♂️The rest I was aware of, many from watching this channel. Although I did know about others, there were a few that I had forgotten about. Thanks for the assist Mr. Cat.
another gunsmith tip-never pay the gunsmith to clean your weapon,, always use gun oil in RDO, unlike in the base game where for 1.50 or less you're gun is fully clean and it can often cost less than the price of gun oil, in rdo 1.50 is the cost for one fourth of your weapon to be cleaned, whereas gunoil fully cleans it, dont pay the gunsmith in rdo

1:21 There should be a trophy for all those sitting spots after you get all of them Each one should trigger a mini cutscene of a cinematic shot including the character allowing for nice screenshots Then after completing all of them and getting the trophy a man will approach you and give you an upgraded camera or a telescope or something maybe, he could be an astronomer or a traveler or a documenter for something like Nat Geo of back in the day
I only learned 13 and half things from this video. If you're wondering how I got a half, it's because there were multiple times when he had multiple facts in the same tip, and I knew one but not the other so I only counted half. Also on #43, I'm pretty sure any upgraded saddlebags allows you to store five outfits, not just the collector's saddlebags. I don't own it, yet I can store five outfits on my horse. At the very least, the softcoat saddlebags you buy from the trapper allows for this.
I've been playing since beta (Have given this game a break for the last 2 years or so) but I'm getting a craving for it again so I'm going to be coming back. I'm like rank 430 or something and thought I new everything there is to know about this game. But there's been about 3 or 4 things in this video that I had no idea about!! So thanks bro! Great video
another great tip for pvp is to invest into a springfield, bolt action, or carcano rifle. These weapons are a bit underpowered and overshadowed by repeaters in the base game, but repeaters in rdo are much more PVP focused and rifles do better in pve and can do just fine in pvp too. Also never underestimate the power of a elephant rifle. They seem bad and slow, but if you do happen to hit that one great shot then it's almost guranteed one shot kill
Hello, Sir. Your guides have been extremely useful. Now I just need Rockstar to add an Elixir role to RDO so a lying cheating degenerate like myself can prosper.

just so yall know too 50 random collectable items(no matter wich ones) will result in 600 dollars+ because 1 item is roughly about 9-15$ wich is worth when using the collectors map
If you manage to get shot and your character ragdolls around when one hand is holding on to the elephant gun and u shoot whilst your stood up it will put you on your back lol
