The number of people commenting about RVing here in NZ, Australia and around the world is amazing! Thanks for your support in trying something new. SN7 starts in the spring as we travel through the mid-west and parts of the east coast again, but we're enjoying bringing you warm videos this winter and learning how to travel in a Class C 👍
Please come to Virginia! We have so many beautiful places to explore here. Check out Luray and the caverns! Plus, we'd love to do a meetup with you all!
Great video! I was just on the south island back in October working with the Antarctic program! If you get a chance while in Christchurch, check out the Antarctic center. It's a neat little "museum" about Antartica and the national science foundation.. you can even ride in a Hägglunds. It's pretty cool!
After a few minutes of watching, I stopped it and told my husband that I am going to quit my part time job in a couple of months, when it gets warmer, and we are going to travel!
My husband and I always look forward to your videos - looking forward to this season! We watched your vids every day at lunch as we got ready to take the leap and go full-time RVing this past October. Thanks so much for the inspiration and hope our paths will cross some time on the road!
Oh this brings back so many memories.. My late husband and I spent four months in New Zealand . traveling both islands. camping kayaking and in a rental house part of the time.. I cried with the remembering cause I miss him and the time we had so much... but I look forward to each of your adventures over there..
I don’t think I have ever laughed as hard during one of your episodes! Picking up that rental car was hilarious!!! So so so excited about season 6! Can’t wait to see what you are discovering in New Zealand!!
Awesome...when I first went to the UK for work, we always hit the windshield wiper instead of the signal stalk when leaving the rotarys. We called it a 'victory wipe' in celebration of successfully getting through without an accident.
Yes!!!! I've been there, so excited to see it through your adventures. I'm a lefty so I loved driving there. We'd sing the song, "to the left, to the left" everytime we had to turn.
I have been watching your travels for about 3 weeks starting with season 1. As I looked forward I saw that you were going to New Zealand and have really been wanting to get to this season because I’m sure it will bring back fond memories for me. I went to New Zealand 4 times in my Navy career going to and coming from Antarctica. My shortest stay was 3 days and my longest was 10 days. Your family is great thanks for some good entertainment.
We lived in Japan for a few years, you could always pick out the new drivers when they had the wipers on when they were turning! 😊 wait till you get back home and you freak out when you see cars the correct side of the road but it feels like they are coming straight at you! Good luck and safe travels!
My wife and I spent 3 weeks RVing around NZ a few years ago. Magnificent country and spectacular for RVs. One top tip for driving on left. If you ever have to pull in up a driveway to reverse your route be very careful when you come out Was the only times (twice) I started out driving on the wrong side of the street!
Love it. I spent last summer RVing in Scotland, so I totally relate to the freak outs about driving on the other side of the road. New Zealand is definitely on my 'someday' list - looking forward to following your journey and picking up some tips!
How exciting. My dad went to the University of Canterbury In Christchurch in the late 60’s. Enjoy your time there and can’t wait to see what you do. My brother just went last year and had a blast.
Hey guys! I look forward to your incredible adventure in New Zealand! I hear it’s beautiful there! As always, thanks for sharing. It’s great to see the family enjoying time together. Peace & Love from Poughkeepsie NY!
Love you guys!! So excited to watch your new adventures. My husband and I are starting to look into rving in retirement and that’s how I found you! Makes me so excited and you have filled my brain with knowledge about all things rving. Can’t wait to watch Season 6!!
Hey guys, I enjoyed this video. We have been watching for a few seasons now and you certainly have taught us a lot. Without giving anything away, I traveled extensively overseas in my 21 year military career and one thing I used to tell myself when driving on the "other" side of the road is, first - great tip to have a passenger! - in the US, the driver is ALWAYS against the center line - in right-side drive cars the driver is ALSO on the center line but on the other side of the road. Keep this in mind when driving tricky intersections (Traffic circles in the UK really messed me up!) and you will be ok! Keep up the good work!
Welcome to NZ. Hope the weather holds up for you guys as it's been a lousy summer in South Canterbury so far. If you are free camping (dry camping), the Wildernests guide is pretty good down the West Coast of the South Island. Enjoy
While stationed in Japan for 2 yrs. I had to drive on opposite side of road. Someone once told me to always keep the yellow center line on the driver’s side. I never had any problems remembering after that. Have fun!!! 😀😀😀
Excellent first turn! It reminds me of my first drive with an RV in South Africa. In fact, the problem isn't at the beginning when we are being cautious, but later on when we forget or find ourselves in an emergency situation. :)
Wow. What a surprise. You're taking RVing to a whole new level! Have a great time. Me and the thousands of others will be eager to follow this six week adventure. Cheers.
What Fun! Brings back memories! First time I drove on the left side of the road was there in Auckland. Keeps it challenging! Have fun! People are really friendly and the food is great! BTW, since you will be experienced left side drivers, you will have to put England and Scotland on your list. Those countries are beautiful also and dripping with history!
NO WAY!!! We just made the leap to fulltime to finish up our 50 state journey - and then.... Australia and New Zealand (and Iceland) are on our someday list. Love, love, love that we get to follow along on this journey with you!!! So excited for your new adventures. ❤️❤️
This was a fantastic video guys!! I suffer from severe anxiety so it limits me a lot but I adore watching your videos. Thank you for giving us who aren’t able to travel like this a peak into the worlds beauty with such a fantastic charismatic family ☺️
Awesome...thanks for the vid. My "season two" is heading from Vancouver to Idaho with the kiddo on a 2k km round trip adventure. Im getting excited and watching your videos is keeping me on track....
I like the twist with starting with the airbnb's and then transitioning into an RV, I look forward to seeing the difference and how it impacts your travels.
It's been nice to see how Kiwi's live by first staying in Air bnb's and now we appreciate what the RV offers. We were not expecting that. More to come.
Been watching you guys for awhile now. Great vids. We also full time and it's fun seeing the places others go. Leaving on an international trip ourselves tomorrow to Italy. Just recently launched our own TH-cam channel after following you and a few others. Thanks for the inspiration!
Wow! This is going to be incredible. I’m extremely jealous however, as we are under more snow in Arizona. By the way the funny up-swing in their voices is called a Rising Intonation ... or Up Speak. Have fun and remember ... you always want the center line to be closest to you ... the Driver!
So jealous. I was there 20 years ago. I think that it is high time to go back. If you have a chance, don't forget to go to the glow worm caves and, if you can, hike the Milford Trail.
Hello Leach Family! How fantastic, New Zealand!!! Your Children have grown by leaps and bounds! Wow! You have an amazingly wonderful Family! GOD Bless You All! Enjoy life! We hope and pray to be RVing full time in 6 months! House will be going up for sale soon, we're super excited, and we'll be traveling the United States of America! I'll be waiting for next week's episode!
Great Videos, thanks for all your work in putting them together. Funny that you've left Arizona while we are just heading down there. Anyhow wanted to mention that if that car hit your tire and rim and your rim is made from aluminum you need to have that checked by someone who knows what they are looking for. Minor cracks can be almost invisable but can fail unexpectedly with no warning. Finally it is so funny that you hit the wipers instead of the turn signal. That happened to me countless times on our trip across Australia
I'll for sure check it out when we get back. There was no vibration or signs of alignment issues when driving the 2 hrs back to Phx. That's a good sign.
Looking forward to season six. I am happy for you that you are in NZ. My husband and I toured the south island in a small RV too. I recommend a boat trip in Milford Sound - A little out of the way but worth it. Have a fabulous trip.
How exciting. I was wondering how you could possibly top your Alaska trip, but WOW. This is so amazing. This will open up a new path way to travel - how clever. Its also so awesome see everyone together again. Even though it is just for a short time.Tory always brings a special sparkle to the videos. I'm am looking forward to this season and you family traveling in a Class C abroad. Thank you for all you bring to so many lifes !!!!!
What fun! As a Tolkien fan, I'm very jealous, and I look forward to your trip reports. Yes, I know all about the glaciers on South Island (see Tolkien fan). And congratulations on being some of the first people to celebrate the New Year. May this one be awesome for you.
Wow, so it WAS possible to make us even more jealous of the incredible adventures you take with your family! Looks to be an awesome season. Hope this trip goes as smoothly as your past journeys. America couldn't have better ambassadors there!
I finally got to see the beginning of your trip to NZ. Funny I watched all the videos after this first!! 🤣 I'm glad Tori got to go at least for a little bit.
I drove around Cayman Island for several days turning on my windshield wipers at every turn so I had a good laugh with you. Can't wait to see the rest of your adventures.
I have been rear ended 2 times this year in Dallas. Both times, I couldn't find a scratch on my truck, but both cars had significant damage to the front bumper. Stay safe...
@8:08 I've been livin in US for 7 years. Every time I visit India and come back, the "windshield- indicator light" mishap happens to me :D Funny when sun is shining and wipers go off. People in the road give strange look :P
How awesome! I’m really excited for this new season! You guys never disappoint! I would have never guessed New Zealand! You guys really know how to live and enjoy life. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and adventures with us. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year with safe and happy adventures.
SUPER excited for Season 6!! I spent two weeks in an RV in NZ about 12 years ago. Can't wait to relive it through your videos. I'm sure you are having a blast, can't wait to watch all your adventures!
After watching the RV Geeks in England in their rented RV, this is definitely the way to see a different country. Enjoy your NZ trip. Looking forward to your videos, as it's a great teaching tool and you have fun adventures. Cool Season 6 :D

Keep Your Daydream Sweet NZ. This will be fun.
Um, did I just see a boat driving on 3 wheels? You didn't talk about that.
Villa Maria winery is a *MUST*

What a great surprise!!!! Been on my bucket list since high school(long time)!! So excited to watch this season! Safe travels.
So awesome! What a great video series. So much better than TV.
Awesome...when I first went to the UK for work, we always hit the windshield wiper instead of the signal stalk when leaving the rotarys. We called it a 'victory wipe' in celebration of successfully getting through without an accident.

Glad to see you are finally back on the road!
Sweet ... Kiwi sweet! Have a great time. Looking forward to the new season.
Very cool KYD! Loved the the infamous "first turn"! Reminds me of a similar moment with my son learning to drive the F250 earlier this month! 🤣👍
Welcome to NZ. Hope the weather holds up for you guys as it's been a lousy summer in South Canterbury so far.

Lol. That's what we tell the boys before they go somewhere without us, "You're America ambassadors!" to which we hear, "yeah yeah, we know".
What a great 6 weeks you will have. Can’t wait to see more.
Beautiful, have a wonderful time. Prayers for safe travels.

Excited to see the rest of the season! Great job!
New Zealand is on my bucket list - so excited to follow Season 6. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
