Damn who's cutting onions this early in the morning on a MONDAY!!! we have two rescue chihuahuas from California in Canada, they love to sleep and like us they pretty much hate winter. My Dad had two Golden retrievers. He put the leash on his last puppy told my mom to get ready for a walk on the beach, sat down and had a massive heart attack and was gone in seconds. So he left doing the thing he loved the most, getting ready to take his retriever for a walk on the beach. A home isn't a home without a dog in my opinion, Charlie looks awesome congratulations!!!

We cried when you lost Maddie because we also had just lost our 13 year old white labrador. Today we cried tears of joy for Charlie. Labrador and Golden Retrievers are the BEST!! So Happy for you and the rest of the Family!
Last December i had to put down my Wheaten Terrier, holding her in my lap looking into her eyes. There's no room in my heart for another dog, but Maddi and do share my heart for dogs on TH-cam. I'm not a pet person...but dogs have a magical gift. Beautiful dog and thank you for sharing!
As a truck driver, I use a needer (neater) feeder for my pup. Any water that "spills" is caught in the basin below. You just have to remember to empty it every once in a while or the basin will spill while traveling. It will not spill or leak while stationary, so if you add dumping the basin to your teardown checklist, you should be fine. Depending on how messy of a drinker your pup is and how messy you are pouring water in the bowl will obviously affect how quickly the basin will fill up. But as I mentioned, it is not an issue when stationary. If you see that it is full, just dump it.
Have had Goldens for 50 years, they are the best! My Golden Cooper watched the episode with me. Cooper has some suggestions: 1st......no pig ears or pork......salmonella risk, big time for pork ears. 2nd.......PARVO Vaccinations are a MUST. As much exposure as he will have with other dogs and the ground where other dogs have been he is at risk. Parvo stays active for 1 year on surfaces. 3rd..OBEDIENCE training..........mandatory. Obeying commands especially in the environment he will be with vehicle traffic. 4th.... Have a micro chip implanted in case you get separated somehow. 5th.....Lots of love :) You made the right choice for you in buying and not adopting. It's your life, your dog, your commitment, your choice...............not for others to criticize either way.
Congratulations! Exactly two years ago today my wife and I adopted/saved another Terrier just three months after losing are senior Terrier which was extremely hard on the both of us. We weren't planning on it exactly so soon but some unique circumstances presented us an opportunity to get him and it's turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made..ever. Charlie looks like a real gentle and mellow dog. He's a lucky dog and I know he'll bring you many years of love and happiness.

Adding a new dog life to your family is so rewarding to you and the dog as well! Dogs do love to travel, and the RV life can be great for them as well! Our Lucy loved to set in the passenger seat of our CC motorhome. Every time my wife got up to go to back of the coach Lucy was in the seat! All eyes out front like she was my co-pilot.
Recently lost my black lab Penny. This brought tears of joy for your family and Charlie to my eyes. A dog can easily adapt to their surroundings so as long as there is a abundance of love to give give him he will absolutely have no issues you with your rv'ing lifestyle. Congrats on Charlie! The first month is called the honey moon period where he will be more laid back and docile while he figures out his place and how things work. As he matures and while he becomes more familiar he will push his boundaries to see where they are. He seems a timid little guy so be kind, be slow, have patience and his best command to teach will be "Wait!". It will save him from jumping from a vehicle into harm, running through a doorway etc. Good luck! I'm sure you are going to raise a great dog!
Interesting episode for me to watch as I am a veterinarian with over 43 years experience in small animal medicine I know that everyone has an opinion of which dog is suited to you and truly I find that a difficult decision as no one knows better than you. Certainly you have a beautiful pup, have great support and have a loving family unit. You are active people so your pup is very lucky to have you. I would only suggest health insurance. Naturally one never prefers to use one's insurance but appreciates the coverage if needed. Your pup is adorable and I truly enjoy seeing you with your new family member. Best wishes.
I am a teacher on summer break and have been planning on getting a trailer when I can finally afford it. I just finished binging AAALLLL of your videos over a couple of weeks. I must say, I thought Trisha was going to literally bounce off the walls waiting for that puppy! We have a dog that camps with us all the time, We go out for 3-5 days at a time and our dog looks forward to it every time. As soon as he sees we are going in the truck he jumps in and we cannot get him out until we get to our campsite. He loves camping. Full time with a dog will have its challenges but I am sure you guys will be able to adapt. It is great the kids will take a role in playing and walking the dog. Congratulations on Charlie's entrance into the family.

I just got back from a camping trip myself and thanks to your videos I learned a lot. I have seen them here and there not straight thru and just now around the 14 min mark I found myself crying. On June 15th of this year I had to send my Felix (who was a pug) over the special rainbow... When I see any families specially one like yours I start to cry when I see things like this cause I still miss Felix so much.... I love watching things like this... I wish you lots of years with Camo/ Charlie... Seems like the perfect dog for your entire family lifestyle....

Oh my! Charlie is a real prize, and it's nice to see he won't be spoiled😂 He will keep you young and exercised. I'm 80 and our 8 year old yellow Lab takes me for a 3 mile walk every day, as well as to the dog park several times a week. He absolutely loves traveling with us in our 5th wheel RV as well as our boat. Nothing beats a dog for a traveling companion.
Had to go back and watch this episode again! Just went to my dentist in Oshtemo, Michigan, and the hygenist is Jeri and Zane's daughter and we began talking and KYD came up. SMALL WORLD! It's now been almost a year since Charlie came into your lives. How fun and sweet!
CHARLIE IS FANTASTIC!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Guys if I may make two suggestions (we have had four legged children labs and beagles for 30 years) 1) purchase him a "slow feed dog bowl" much better for him less chance of throwing up his dinner and 2) put his water bowl up on something so its about 8-10 inches up off the floor so he's not bending down to drink. Good for the neck especially as he gets older and eliminates those back coughs after drinking. You guys rock, take care, best wishes, Brian

I'm 80 and our 8 year old yellow Lab takes me for a 3 mile walk every day, as well as to the dog park several times a week. He absolutely loves traveling with us in our 5th wheel RV as well as our boat. Nothing beats a dog for a traveling companion.

Had to go back and watch this episode again! Just went to my dentist in Oshtemo, Michigan, and the hygenist is Jeri and Zane's daughter and we began talking and KYD came up. SMALL WORLD! It's now been almost a year since Charlie came into your lives. How fun and sweet!

CHARLIE IS FANTASTIC!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Guys if I may make two suggestions (we have had four legged children labs and beagles for 30 years) 1) purchase him a "slow feed dog bowl" much better for him less chance of throwing up his dinner and 2) put his water bowl up on something so its about 8-10 inches up off the floor so he's not bending down to drink. Good for the neck especially as he gets older and eliminates those back coughs after drinking. You guys rock, take care, best wishes, Brian
