    Ive been toying with the idea of swapping to a set of Sticky Offroad tires for a while now. This is one of the most noticeable upgrade you can do in regards to offroad performance and traction. In this video, we install a set of the new Atturo Green Label Trail Blade Boss Stickies!! Now there are a few pros and cons in regards to making the swap, and in this video we discuss those, as well as hit the trails to see how well the Jeep performs with these new tires on the trail! Right now, tires are starting to get pretty hard to find... Especially in 37s+, luckily i was able to get these Atturos and im glad i did!
    Im excited to hit more trails in the future and give you guys a real world review of stickies on a Jeep that is still driven on the road.

    I had same problem with breaking bead. I bought the Bead Buster XB-554 and it worked well for me. Used Pneumatic impact to run the bolt and worked my way around wheel. Running walker evans beadlocks on 35 in tires. Some bead are worse than others like the Goodyear Wrangler with Kevlar. Goodrich and Kenati are softer easy to get on and off. Not sure about bigger tires like 40s but might work the same.

    Only down side if you like to wheel when it's cold out.

    • @yerwrng
      @yerwrng ปีที่แล้ว

      My treps get hard in the cold weather but lady winter I ran around the block a few times in the snow and they get warm enough from driving that they soften up good .my block is an unpaved road that is only separated from the national forest by a gate . The BFG Reds apparently like to freeze but I beleive that because they are open cell rubber , but I can't say I never personally ran them like have the treps . I liked my siped and cut Boggers in the snow better .

    If you have a engine hoist put the legs on the tires and run a strap through the wheel back to the hoist boom and jack it up. The legs hold the tire and the boom pulls the wheel free.

    Maxxis Trepadors have a DOT stamp .I have them and they have a DOT label . Companies don't like to disclose what's in the rubber and to get a DOT stamp that has to happen . I wouldn't drive a real sticky tire on the road they aren't going to last more than 5-8k tops running 65mph hard rubber compounds only last about 12-15k on mud tires before bald stickys ...lol...might as well just throw $4,000 out the window if you're running 42 stickys on the highway . Mileage isn't the only issue heat cycles also make the rubber hard so real stickys are best left to rigs that ride on a trailer.
