- Hello Guys,
Today I'm back with an Epic Custom map Called the Siege of Helm's Deep.
Since in the Mod there is an updated version of the Hornburg map, I thought why not make an awesome scenario using that map.
I combined the Age of the Ring teams beauty of design with the master scripts of Master IceWink.
And created the One Helm's Deep to Rule them all.
I hope you will as enjoy watching it as I enjoyed playing it. :)

I am mid 40, still remember, the middle earth, the most enjoyable game I ever played along with Diablo and starcraft, I can't believe someone outthere remake this game with so much efforts, so much great memory and fun, really appreciated who make it happen again in 2024 !!

My comment was more about after that, when you were trying to regroup on the bridge, and 1 or 2 of your heros just kept charging for the enemy even tho you told them to stay put. And they'd listen and stay put- for 1 second- and then they'd he back to breaking lines lol

Well Boromir is not there,cause he's heading back to Gondor to warn his people,his brother and his father to prepare for war against Mordor.
he was dead, when he tried to protect Merry and Pippin from uruks, but Lurtz killed him!
The mission for this in Age of the Ring campaign is absolutely phenomenal. Seriously epic. They are hard at work on creating the last part of the campaign, Return of the King. Added flavor/alternate lore. You can save both Boromir and Haldir. Unfortunately Boromir is sent back to Gondor shortly before Helms Deep. But if you save Haldir, at the end there’s a small cutscene with him proclaiming his desire to continue to fight for Elessar. If you haven’t played the mod, you totally should. It is 100% worth the time to play it. Fairly simple to install too.
It bothers me so bad that he wasn’t making unit at 1550/2000 command points lol. Another 500 cp of archers would have shredded enemy units

I did not make too much units cause I did not want to make the game too slow, also, we need to leave some uruks to Eomer and Gandalf too to slay :D
Oh my god! But groups of skuruts seem unnecessarily small to me :)
Hey there, Eventually they come in bigger numbers,
If there are too many units, sometimes the game slows down, or chrashes :D

This is so cool I wish i could play this, it crashes every time and i cant find any fix.
All these spaces between commas and exclamation marks trigger me into the oblivion...

what are those four cameras above the powers ?
Hey there,
Those are camera "buttons" for different view angles, in Age of the Ring and also in Edain mod, you can thange the wiev angle by pressing these buttons, for nice scenery,
In the video I also use it sometimes at 11:51 for example ;)

The graphic option is medium, and shadows are turned off,
It gives a sensible performance buff, which is vital for battle big like this.

how can ı handle fps problem ?

If your settings are high, I'm suggesting you lowering your graphics to medium, and turning shadows completely off.
This can make the game run easiier, ;)
How can your game so smooth and lock at 60FPS?
Hey there,
I usually play on medium graphich with shadows turned off,
This makes the game run pretty okey,
the game is locked to 30 fps with determines the games's speed, if we would increase the fps of the game the games's speed would increase too so for example units would run faster, hit faster ect.
The video is 60fps cause I recod it in 60fps, but the game still runs 30fps :)

So this version which I linked is for the Rise of the Wich King, not for Age of the Ring,
This is the basic version which I converted to Age of The Ring,
The vesrion I converted, I didn't upload the map yet anywhere.

To install the map, You need to copy the folder you find in the compressed file to your:
"C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files\Maps
Then you should be able to find it in the map list of the skirmish game mode.
