As someone who played the cd-versions years ago I'm absolutely hyped, but the question I'd ask is: Are there issues with copyright and could it be illegal to use the launcher in some countrys?
@@treebeardjr.5347 BFME games are abandoneware, EA dropped them in 2010 and you basically cannot buy them anymore. Also, new pcs dont even have a cd rom anymore

I have been trying for an age to get these games again. You have done something amazing, I always used to play these games with my grandfather and while he is still with us he moved away. The nostalgia and sheer happiness to claim a part of my childhood that I can carry with me has almost brought me to tears. Thanks you and May God bless you

I am not able to try it out right now, but if it works as said I gotta say: Absolutely phenomenal work guys! Thank you so much for making this tedious work-around from before unnecessary! I wanted to play the game with some friends who do not know the game from the past but explaining the installation process to them was too annoying so we did play some other games instead. Now they will surely be able to play with me! All thanks to you guys!
Saw this video and immediately downloaded it after. This is absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait till battle for middle earth 2 and rise of the witch king gets added! I’m glad to see other people as passionate as me for these old strategy games!

In the Select Game tab at the on the upper bar. Can't wait for them to add Rise of the Witch King expansion to it.

Confirmed working as of 17 may 2024.
I had BFME1 didn't run, but I did the "Analyse and Repair" option and that fixed it 💪🏻💪🏻
I havent tested it yet but from hearing this stuff alone makes me kind of happy this thing happened.

Me and some of my friends use to play this all the time. Seeing this on modern machines is just amazing. This game will always be one of my favorite games even after nearly 20 years. This launcher really saved me a shitload of time from using CDs again.

Just downloaded it and it is awesome! I have watched some of your videos before and I know you mentioned that game ranger is the way to play online. Could you make a video explaining that? I have a bunch of friends who used to play this game and they would download it if I could explain to them how we could play online together.
Hey, thanks so much for this! I'm a little unclear, though: Will this be an all in one for mods like Age of the Ring and Edain, as well? Those mods are kind of a pain in the butt to install and play! So it'd be great to have those included, if possible. :)

Thank you for this, I've been playing Evil Campaign on Hard mode and enjoying the changes. One Access Violation Error comes up as SOON as I get to the Harad part of the campaign...Any suggestions? All signs point to download and upload the Options file. But Patch Launcher took care of all that.
