Absolutely loved how you approached this air layering experiment Attila! 🪴✨The way you kept everything so scientific and controlled! I’m thrilled to see my product come out on top!! More than that, I appreciate the dedication and thoroughness you put into testing each method. You’ve provided such valuable insight for anyone trying air layering, and it’s great to see the results so clearly. Keep up the amazing work!!
And now you have a "small army"of new trees for next season...it is a great vid man beacuse you have a small nature around you!and a green house as a bonus...
I rather wait 4 months , but i wanted to show you that "okay this is what i do, and these are the results" rather than see you in few months and we will see.
That was a wonderful video, I love maple trees such beautiful and unique with lots of options to make them into fabulous bonsai trees. Now your doing private tuition/ groups is amazing I wish I lived closer I would be your best customer 😂😂 keep up your amazing work.
I honestly enjoyed your video. Living around Canada's capital, I will plan on air layer several trees near the start of april. I will enjiy this. Thank you.
Such an interesting video Attila! How long does it take for the main trees that you took the air layers from to recover? I still love your greenhouse! It is so beautiful and you are so talented to have created such a stunning space. Blessings sent your way. Xxx
Thank you Samantha! They will recover in no time as it was even a safer operation than pruning, all new shoots already below the cuts ☺And thank you so much for your kind words as always ☺☺
@@FangornBonsai you put the airlayered branch into a pot filled with moss to grow , which as you have shown all the roots that have developed over a period of time. I assumed when you put this into a shallow pot you will comb the roots out , which are enmeshed in the moss. Does that not cause some breakage of roots?
Hey @@sharonbuckley4591. They will remain in these pots till next year or even longer, till i decide how i will use them. I will make a video how to repot them after this operation. But yes will comb out the roots if they will go into bonsai pots
Took my air layer a few weeks ago and I hope it does okay. Foliage died so it’s not the highest hopes. I needed to prune back. That might be my problem. Little roots trying to support little branches

Beautiful. How do you manage to get the moss out without damaging the roots.
Hey Sharon! I am not sure if i understand the question.
