I admire Peter so much for encouraging beginners like me to experiment and enjoy bonsai with accessible plants, to enjoy the journey. He is a treasure to the bonsai community. I'm so thankful that TH-cam made him available to all of us. Thanks for making this video! ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
What an amazing life and bonsai journey Peter must have had. And his advice resonates well with a lot of aspects in life, not just bonsai. Great video!
I love Herons Bonsai nursery and Peter is a legend. Always so gracious and welcoming when I have visited. Peter is very lucky to be able to step out amongst those trees and landscaped grounds every day.
Brilliant! 👏👏👏 This series from both of you has been fascinating.... and meeting Peter outside his own tutorial videos has been an education. Well done!
Peter seems like such a nice a guy and an obvious wealth of knowledge and experience. If I ever take a trip back to England I’ll definitely have to stop by to visit the nursery. Great video Jelle
I started the video and in an eye blink its already over. So good! Could be a couple of minutes longer but thanks for the Video verly calm and relaxing
I feel that most videos on youtube are too long and I want to click away. So I TRY in my videos to have them finish before people get bored. Not always possible. With this one I really took a lot of time to keep it to point!
Im in this video you see my mate Lee walk past and I’m in a black t-shirt in between Peter and his dancing partner having lunch 0:22 that was at the eight journeyBonsai exhibition
So far , I've not had the chance of share with an other Bonsai fan , Neither a master ...but doing what you guys say....about two hundred trees are already past through wiring and look already like beautiful trees
I started bonsai in 2020 mostly under the guidance of Peter chans youtube channel. I consider him my bonsai grandpa even though he has no idea who I am.
BBC couldn't do better. I hope Peter's proud of the video.
Thank you so much! Peter loved it!

So much respect 🙏 truly a legend of the art 😊
He absolutely is!

Glad you enjoyed it!
So impressed with Peter's historical memory. He is a model for people like me (3-4 years younger). Use it or you might lose it!😊
:)
Truly inspiring! Beautiful tour and interview. The photographer did a great job too :)
Thanks so much!
Thank you Peter❤
:)
Best teacher ever! Greaaaat person 🌳🌳🌳
Isn't he!?
Wow, this was so sweet. Love the way he is about seeds. Generosity like that returns to you every time. So much knowledge.
We agree!
I'm really hope that Jelle, Peter Chan and Nigel Saunders will meet one day, visit each other's gardens, and give a feedback to their trees
Now THAT would be cool. I doubt it will happen though
Wow jelle your videos are absolutely amazing. You have a real talent there. Like Peter said some people are gifted!
Keep them coming awsome content 🤝
Thank you so much 😀
This was the perfect end to 3 days with Jelle - a true gentleman
Peter or me :) ?
@@GrowingBonsai That's a good question and maybe one I could discuss in a future visit :)

DO visit. His place is amazing!
I think you captured the essence of Peter Chan and Bonsai. Great job. He transcends the mastery of bonsai. What an excellent tribute.
Many thanks
That looked like it was a very fun visiti. I hope I can meet him and see the nursery some day as well. Great little documentary!
I hope so too! Have fun there
Lovely job, enjoyed the video

So cool!! I do hope you do not mind. Peter said I could use the material, but I never did reach out to him and ask whether others in the video agreed.
I would like Peter to live for another 50 years at least.
Hm.. That is a LONG time
@GrowingBonsai He'll be close to 140 by then. Even though he's very youthful for his age, that may be a little too optimistic.

Video and editing always so terrible. Improve that and the channel will grow much faster.
Like what?
@@GrowingBonsaiNever mind Jelle, there's always one. I think this was a very good video.
