Take an old freezer that someone's throwing out put a tarp and rocks and water and fish in it. Float your containers on top.
wow, that is already a fruit-producing tree!! You really are just printing money. You made it sooo easy for us. Now we can make more trees to gift or trade with others.
Thanks very much. I have watched many videos about air layering. The difference is you have explained the technique, making it so simple now it impossible to fail .
Can this be done at any time of the year? Also, what is that root stuff he smears on before he wraps it? Is there any particular soil mix i gotta use? I watched the vid a few times bit still have these questions
@@4u2nvcpt it’s best to do it at the time of the year when the sap is flowing. The powder is rooting hormone. You can purchase it at the big box store. Any soil is fine.
Thanks Lead. I did my pear tree a month or so ago. After watching again I’m not sure if I put the chili dog up high enough 😮. I will know very soon. I really appreciate all that you do to show us how to grow better, live better and survive in this world gone wrong. God bless you my brother.

I am so happy to see this on how to graft trees. My dad taught me how to do this when I was young. I’m 72 now it’s good for people to learn this. Dad call it grafting but it was done just like you are teaching Texas
LOL 😂 cannot say idk...love you guys. Doing me some chili dogs...love my banana trees so far! Took a risk... I am praying everything survives this winter. Everything is in the ground this year!
I love how you do this. I used to watch my dad do this with his fruit trees but not using the ziplock bag. He would use regular plastic bags wrap them around and tie them. I love the ziplock demo.

This is the only comment he didn't love. I like him even more now. Why bring race into everything? I'm not offended by the comment but it's just completely unnecessary.
Do research first. I don't know a lot about apples and peaches, but not all trees can root from cuttings like these. Figs are famously extremely easy to root. Often, you can simply cut a branch and stick it in the ground and it will root just from that into a new tree. Some trees are all but impossible to root even in a university laboratory. I'm not sure where apples and peaches exist on that spectrum.
Vry Great frugal way of chilli dog roots growing for planting trees week worth of pay check saving 7 trees can add up to $800 savings can't go better then that vry creative gardening
