Korg Pa5X - demo 45 free new OS 1.3 styles with original song names

- Here is a demo of all the 45 new styles included with the Korg upgrade firmware OS1.30 for the korg Pa5X International. These styles are absolutely fantastic and sometimes hard to recognize if you want to use them for playing the original song.
So I have included the original artist name and song title for the song styles I know (which are a lot). You can find that information on the style information tile in the video for each style.

And the Kaoss pad was a brilliant addition to the new KORG PA5X update. Your tutorials are invaluable and inspired me to buy the KORG PA5X when it was released.

Originally that was my intention to create a modwave wavetable synthesis series, but I always monitor the likes and views of the videos and I've noticed that not many people liked or watched the modwave videos, so I've canceled that series due to a lack of interest.

Your OS version: Go to HOME screen and press FILE and press button on top right (3 horz lines) and press SYSTEM INFO and you got your latest OS Version

greetings! I follow your channel and I congratulate you for the nice and useful information. I would like to know what setup you use to shoot your videos. And how do they manage to capture the KORG display and sync it with the rest of the video. I know it has an HDMI output, but what is the recording method? Thank you🙏 and good luck
I use OBS studio, there I have assigned two video captures which records in realtime. The HDMI is captured with a usb HDMI adapter from the pa5x.

Can someone export thete styles as midi to import them as styles to PA4X or PA1000?
Hi. Is it possible to share all the styles from korg pa5x international? Musikant version didn't received that one from OS 1.2 as well as 1.3
You can ask KORG, they will as usua give it, cuz last year I got the same question and they sent it to you.

Do you hear the difference? Many of this styles are much better than the intern pa5x styles. Drums, Guitars, Reverb are much better mixed ..

New version: Matrix preset Setlist and Chord etc.
Took my bup KST before installing the new version.
All ok Matrix setlist/chord update visible, but when loaded back my KST bup this was not visible anymore.
Is there a way to fix this, and keep all the settings stored as it was before the installation of the new version ?

@@Totto_D sure, it's really easy to solve, just do the following steps:
after loading your old backup you will notice that the kaos presets are gone and the matrix settings are revert to your old default setup and that the new chord sequence and set list settings aren't available anymore for the matrix pads.
Here is how to solve this:
- press the file button
- press the menu button
- press the factory restore tile
- UNCHECK the All checkbox
- Check the settings checkbox
- press Restore button on your screen
now all your old data is still in there but you have restored the new OS1.3 settings.
If you made any changes to the settings in os1.2.1 then just modify these settings again manually now so that you have a correct OS1.3 settings file. (If you can't remember them then just make photos of those pages before you do the factory restore of the settings, so that you know what to modify.

Heb de MUSIKANT, helaas geen 45 styles inbegrepen in de 1.3.0 update. Hoop dat KORG alsnog zouden geven, wat een teleurstelling.😢
I put my device up for sale in order to replace it with a Yamaha 5000 device. It supports Arabic and Western sound and rhythm, is even easier to use, and has very strong support from the company regarding updates. I was very disappointed in Korg unfortunately
Still disappointed that there are no Japanese styles added. Come on guys Japanese anime soundtracks are a big thing these days. Why are they still absent from an instrument made by a Japanese company?
there is one japanese style in this set, but I agree, it would be nice to see some anime styles on keyboards, but I never saw them on any keyboard. I do play a lot of the anime songs on the piano though (without styles), my favorite tune to play on the piano is One summer's day (from Spirited Away)
@@quirobinez There are a lot of styles covered by anime soundtrack music. Most of which are cross compatible with more western styles. A lot of great modern jazz styles from Yohko Kanno, for instance. I've also taught my self to play some parts of Spirited Away piano solos. But I would love some styles that work in this category of moods. I have yet to learn to play Ryo Kawasaki's wonderful music from Fumetsu no Anata e.
Realistically, about 1-2% of the included styles are "useful" to me.
In fact, I deeply regretted purchasing this device, as the company is not at all interested in Arab musicians, neither in their voices nor in their rhythms, unlike Yamaha, which satisfies all players in every country.
@@hmadani02 sorry to hear that, but these keyboards are expensive, so if you are unhappy then if I were you I would exchange it for a yamaha genos if you really believe that this better suits your needs. It makes no sense to keep something you are not happy with.
