My Thoughts As A 100 Hour DayZ Player

When I started playing I was the same with guns. Had no practice and was worried about how I would be in a firefight. Best advice is practice on zombies. I like shooting zombies if I have plenty ammo and a suppressor. Congrats on 100 subs.
I guess that’s the best way. As you said find a suppressor and just practice on zombies! Thank you ❤️

This is the second video I've seen from you, I've been a fan of Day Z for years but just started playing this past March. There is actually a way to practice Day Z and that's on a local server. There are a bunch of videos up here about how to set it up on your computer. Then you can play/practice the game without worry of other players interfering. Me personally I'm more of a PVE player personally so I enjoy playing on my own server but you still learn the game and the map also.
Thanks for the tip! I have seen that you can set up a local server and play this way, for me the fun is knowing that I could die at any given moment. One of my favourite comments was something along the lines of, the loot isn’t always yours it’s just your turn with it. Appreciate the support 🤝

When you’re going to run across an open field remember there are sharpshooters who played this game for 10 years and can live in the forest on pond water, mushrooms and a mosin😅

Similar to you, I found DayZ horrifically oppressive and frustrating when I first started. But that became attractive in a way as I sought to master it and become more efficient. Now I can confidently say that DayZ is my favourite game of all time, and it's largely because of its incredible intensity. No other game gets the heart pumping like DayZ. That random car encounter in your last series was a case in point.
I still watch tips and strategies YT shorts because there's always at least one or two that I didn't know about.
I've really enjoyed watching your vids because you're a quick study and it's very satisfying to see someone climb the learning curve.
By the way, the sensory capabilities of the Infected have been upgraded significantly for V1.25. You actually already noticed that in this very video. A lot of people are a bit upset about it, because stealth play is harder and Infected are an actual concern now when they alert others (especially officers in military bases) whereas veterans are very used to ignoring them almost completely in the search for PvP.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it frustrating when I started! I know exactly what you mean, I haven't found a game that I want to progress and become good at in a long time! It has quickly become my favourite game! Exactly that, the car came out of nowhere and really got my heart racing!

Yes, I had heard that the zombies now track and hear you very easily! I can see why people would be a bit upset over it if it hasn't changed in a long time!

The zombies being the way they are currently in this update is a bug I believe and it’s currently fixed on the PTS servers
Nice. So lucky to be playing a game that, in the big scheme of things, works. So much better now than it was back in the day (over 5k hours now) even with the zeds broken by 1.25.
I agree. I can’t say I’ve ran into any game breaking bugs. The zombies have now been fixed
When you find codeine always keep it cos you might find a player coughing and if you give them the codeine and heal their cough you’ll probably be friends. Sometimes they’re hiding but the coughing gives them away.
"Codeine Pills are used to treat pain, sprains, and fractures related to physical injury. Has a duration of 5 minutes." Taken from Day Z wiki, I think you are referring to multivitamin or tetracycline pills.
Yeah the adrenaline rush is insane in day z. When you are heavy with loot and great gear like in this video go to hospitals and find and save epi pens. They give you unlimited stamina for a few minutes. They’re so god tier that you start stashing them 😂
After a fight with players or zombies always check if your clothes need to be repaired. Cos if they turn to status ruined, they wont give you warmth anymore
In the future if you want we can join a server and play together and you can record a video if you would like. I’m not a youtuber but I’d enjoy it to be in a video with you.
