As someone with over 3,000 hours in dayz it’s so refreshing seeing a real unscripted dayz video. All the big dayz youtubers script parts of their videos and take handouts from admins which after realizing this pretty much ruined watching dayz vids for me, but I’ll definitely be watching more of your vids.

There is always someone better. As a solo player I enjoyed this video. I thrive from wipe to wipe not dying at all in some pretty long times between the wipes. Stealth is key for me.
@@scholarcormier I really think its better to look out for pvp rather than look for it. I do a lot of waiting, watching and listening. Move a lot slower than most guys. Let them show themselves and then take them out.

What tips would you give to newer players that are interested in being a lethal lone wolf? I have a full time job but after I get off I have all the time in the world most days I’ve done a lot of research and watched a lot of videos about this game. I have approximately 4 day of knowledge I’ve built my first fire heater I’ve done 3 since I’m getting Better at killing zombies and a friendly survivor showed me to hope on cars when zombies are tailing you
I think about 3-4 hours! But this version of Bitterroot was much smaller than the current version, now you have to travel much further north and the high-tier loot is more spread out 👍
The official playtest servers for this map are currently offline until the next playtest in a month or two! When the official ones are back up, they will be probably pretty full most of the time! I usually had to wait in a queue

This map is called Bitterroot! It's currently under development and is occasionally temporarily available for testing as it's not finished yet. The next playtest is coming on December 15th, which I believe will include many new POIs and areas! You should be able to play then 👍 A lot of the time, I notice things I didn't notice at all while playing as I'm going back through the footage and editing it 🤣

I want to love this game, and my friend begs me to play it. It just seems it really takes time and patience, two things I don't really have, plus losing everything you just spent hours collecting can seriously infuriate me lol.
I agree it definitely takes tons of time and patience to enjoy the game. I think you need to play in sessions of at least 3-4 hours! However, the first hour or two of a new life when you're starting out are my favorite! Once I'm completely kitted out, have everything I'd ever need, and am just looking for other players, I actually start getting a bit bored and look forward to starting over again 👍👍
@danielecetarini472 Umm, not necessarily better! It's just a different experience! The OG official map, Chernarus, is massive in size and sometimes I play for hours without seeing anyone, so sometimes I like to play other smaller custom maps where I can run into other players more often! They are just different 👍

I started with official, then branched out to community servers and other maps! This map is called Bitterroot! It's currently under development and is occasionally temporarily available for testing as it's not finished yet. The next playtest is coming on December 15th, which I believe will include many new POIs and areas! You should be able to play then 👍
A lot of the time, I notice things I didn't notice at all while playing as I'm going back through the footage and editing it 🤣

I want to love this game, and my friend begs me to play it.
It just seems it really takes time and patience, two things I don't really have, plus losing everything you just spent hours collecting can seriously infuriate me lol.
I agree it definitely takes tons of time and patience to enjoy the game. I think you need to play in sessions of at least 3-4 hours! However, the first hour or two of a new life when you're starting out are my favorite! Once I'm completely kitted out, have everything I'd ever need, and am just looking for other players, I actually start getting a bit bored and look forward to starting over again 👍👍

That's exactly right for the official game! But this was a custom map made by someone else, so the loot pool is a bit different!

@danielecetarini472 Umm, not necessarily better! It's just a different experience! The OG official map, Chernarus, is massive in size and sometimes I play for hours without seeing anyone, so sometimes I like to play other smaller custom maps where I can run into other players more often! They are just different 👍

Happy to hear you enjoy the videos!! Learning DayZ will be pretty rough at first, but if you stick with it and learn the survival basics, you can have a ton of fun! I started with official, then branched out to community servers and other maps! Some beginner guide videos can also be very helpful, I watched a lot of guides on TH-cam by bwad99 and nitno when I started 👍
