As someone with over 3,000 hours in dayz it’s so refreshing seeing a real unscripted dayz video. All the big dayz youtubers script parts of their videos and take handouts from admins which after realizing this pretty much ruined watching dayz vids for me, but I’ll definitely be watching more of your vids.

There is always someone better. As a solo player I enjoyed this video. I thrive from wipe to wipe not dying at all in some pretty long times between the wipes. Stealth is key for me.
@@scholarcormier I really think its better to look out for pvp rather than look for it. I do a lot of waiting, watching and listening. Move a lot slower than most guys. Let them show themselves and then take them out.

The OG official map, Chernarus, is massive in size and sometimes I play for hours without seeing anyone, so sometimes I like to play other smaller custom maps where I can run into other players more often! They are just different 👍
I knew you were gonna get dropped standing in that room... Like watching a horror movie saying "don't do that!!!" 8 kills - Gotta love being 3rd or 4th party to a gunfight and cleaning them up while they run about after each other like headless chickens :-)
Hahaha, yeah it was pretty foolish to stand in the window like that in hindsight 🤣 That 3rd party scenario along with my loadout was the perfect storm for snagging up a bunch of kills 😁

What tips would you give to newer players that are interested in being a lethal lone wolf? I have a full time job but after I get off I have all the time in the world most days I’ve done a lot of research and watched a lot of videos about this game. I’ve also played it once or twice before but never got into it because I didn’t have the time and my old internet ran this game laggy
It is nice to be able to see your how your character looks in 3rd person once you've got some nice gear, but the third-person peeking advantage kind of ruins PVP for me, which is why I only play on first person servers!

I started with official, then branched out to community servers and other maps! Yes! I mostly play on vanilla servers, I don't like when there are too many mods. I like official servers or DayOne servers. This video was on a new custom map with a vanilla vibe, it's called Bitterroot!

It's changed a lot since there have been many updates to the map since this video! In the current iteration, the best gear is all in the Northwest at the Falcon Rock Military Complex area 👍👍
I think about 3-4 hours! But this version of Bitterroot was much smaller than the current version, now you have to travel much further north and the high-tier loot is more spread out 👍

This map is called Bitterroot! It's currently under development and is occasionally temporarily available for testing as it's not finished yet. The next playtest is coming on December 15th, which I believe will include many new POIs and areas! You should be able to play then 👍 A lot of the time, I notice things I didn't notice at all while playing as I'm going back through the footage and editing it 🤣

How do you always find 7.62 for ur BK by the time I actually find any I already have a better gun
I usually find a stack of 3 to 4 7.62x39 bullets in the town where I spawn haha
@@scholarcormier I hardly find any at the start of my runs, at least until I find a good gun then I find them everywhere my starts are brutal 😭
@coolingindaboot6853 Haha, yea that's how it goes sometimes 😭 Finding a crossbow is my favorite way to start since you can make bolts 👍

This map is called Bitterroot! It's currently under development and is occasionally temporarily available for testing as it's not finished yet. The next playtest is coming on December 15th, which I believe will include many new POIs and areas! You should be able to play then 👍
A lot of the time, I notice things I didn't notice at all while playing as I'm going back through the footage and editing it 🤣
