Even if the sets were all terrible (Which they're not) the Japanese boxes are so cheap that it doesn't really matter. Like Ancient Roar £26, Wild Force £28 and that's just UK pricing, can be even cheaper if it's bought from Japan. At £26 you could put Mr Mime on the cover and I'd still buy it. 😂
Now will these sets reach the heights of pre 2020 eras? Probably not, at least not quickly. Can they match SWSH? Yes!
Also, I don't care what anyone says, Paradise Dragona is a quality set!

As a collector all i see in the pokemon tcg is the variety of artwork improving. Im buying up even the cheap stuff it just looks nice.
Im curious if they will bring something similar to gold stars (cards with a very low pull rate) because in this era theyve been borrowing gimmicks from other eras. Ace, ex, delta species,crystal (technically, but not really) trainers pokemon, and very likely dark pokemon which will be from team rocket. Also team rocket returns introduced gold stars im pretty sure.

Great video as always man, couldn’t agree more! I think the last sets of SV are gonna be great and I’ll not only be grabbing a case of 4 PC ETBs but I’m probably gonna pick up a case of booster boxes for these last sets too

The consensus on English SV is already starting to change, I think in 2025 people are gonna start liking Japanese SV
No one wants a £25 box until it hits £100.
It’s not that a set is trash or not, it’s people believing TH-camrs and only want to go after what they are trying to hype up instead of just buying and collecting what they like. PokeBeard is probably one of the only ones on this platform that I completely respect for his content cause he buys what he preaches hype or not.
i think that's a fair point that i should address in a future video! but i also do think that the general sentiment that i'm seeing in my groups is that SV is trash, so I wanted to address that point :) thanks
