This has to be the most over hyped set in SV. It's good, but it's not THAT good.

Best Sv Set so far. Both good sets in English and Japanese. Good in-depth analysis. May I ask your opinion for Japanese, do I buy the boxes on release, or do I wait a little bit later. Prices normally drop, but I am not sure about this set. Thoughts??? Would appreciate your perspective. Not holding you to it, though.

I definitely feel like too many Pokémon investor channels pull up products on screen instead of showing us the products in hand. Glad you showed us real products in hand

As a collector all i see in the pokemon tcg is the variety of artwork improving. Im buying up even the cheap stuff it just looks nice. Im curious if they will bring something similar to gold stars (cards with a very low pull rate) because in this era theyve been borrowing gimmicks from other eras. Ace, ex, delta species,crystal (technically, but not really) trainers pokemon, and very likely dark pokemon which will be from team rocket. Also team rocket returns introduced gold stars im pretty sure.

It’s not that a set is trash or not, it’s people believing TH-camrs and only want to go after what they are trying to hype up instead of just buying and collecting what they like. PokeBeard is probably one of the only ones on this platform that I completely respect for his content cause he buys what he preaches hype or not.

Even if the sets were all terrible (Which they're not) the Japanese boxes are so cheap that it doesn't really matter. Like Ancient Roar £26, Wild Force £28 and that's just UK pricing, can be even cheaper if it's bought from Japan. At £26 you could put Mr Mime on the cover and I'd still buy it. 😂 Now will these sets reach the heights of pre 2020 eras? Probably not, at least not quickly. Can they match SWSH? Yes! Also, I don't care what anyone says, Paradise Dragona is a quality set!

The consensus on English SV is already starting to change, I think in 2025 people are gonna start liking Japanese SV

Interested to hear your opinion on terastal festival pokemonster. I’m as keen as anyone, regarding the eevees it’ll be interesting to see what they do with them, seeing as how high class sets very rarely introduce new cards and consistently are mostly made up of alternate arts forms of a lot of the cards printed that year. Seeing as how stellar sylveon is the only eevee we’ve gotten as an ex, to have 8 or 9 brand new cards in a high class set would be a bit out of tune to the usual formular. Pretty keen to also see whether a lot of the terra pokemon that have missed out on alt arts, will get them in this set. I feel like even in year one they missed the mark with terastal pokemon like gyrados, arcanine and tyranitar to name a few not getting sar’s. Even from paradise dragona something like flygon missing out was a bit disappointing. But hoping they’ll come through in the high glass set🤩
