this is A W E S O M E. Most build videos focus on your elite specs and assume that you are lvl 80 already while you actually talked about the pre 80 traits, leveling order and basically made a beginner guide/build to mesmer instead of just listing the traits and gear and calling it a day

Very nice depth and the video was worth the time to give it.
Super helpful, I’m a brand new player and even thought Mesmer is often discouraged for newbies, I just love the class concept and design too much.
Glad it could help mate, mesmer can feel strange as it's one of the more most unique class designs in MMOs I highly recommend going into condition virtuoso as you get into the expansions... as a new player this will be a an amazing choice

Mesmer is really strong and it's elite specializations make it ridiculously strong when you get there
Just got my girlfriend into GW2, and she chose a mesmer as her first class. She just hit level 70 but has been struggling with dying a lot lately, so I appreciate this video. Gonna show it to her and help her some with her build and gear )
I'm glad this can help, the game does ramp up from level 60 to 80. So hopefully this makes her experience better!
Hopefully she has hit cap by now. If so, going Condi with celestial gear can be suuuuper survivable.

is the virtuoso build viable for mesmer build?.... didnt buy any expansions yet and im trying classes and mesmer really caught my eye
Virtuoso is ridiculously strong atm, especially the condition build. So I would say it's good, but you won't crit cap the mesmer in that build... personally I'd recommend Virtuoso for newer players

Should have shown some gameplay in action for new players to see the rotation!
I'd love to do that bit these videos are like 30-40mins, I honestly try edit out every time I breathe but they still rack up.
