It took me half the video to notice those little yellow arrows you put in. That is a nice touch. Subconsciously has probably been directing my attention as im sitting here thinking of my Avatar. Effort noticed.
Looks great. Either Zos is finally accepting that players are going to get strong no matter what & are allowing more players to get there OR Zos will be bringing the nerf hammer extra hard after next patch. As per usual, we shall see. But again, looks great.
I'm really excited to see how the Scribing abilities mesh with the new builds I'm planning for my new chars because Vault and Smash were ones I was looking into using... might consider Soul Burst too!
should be fun! should be able to swap out a similar ability in your build for one of these no problem. replace an AOE with an AOE or a single target with a single target etc, being mindful of buffs that are attached to the skill you're replacing. if no buff on old skill, its all win
Hey Lucky, great video so informative and has gotten my elder scrolls juices running faster than they ever have. I’m so excited. I’m a necro and I’ve always believed that if you can get access to buffs on necro then they are the best class in the game. That’s the problem though isn’t it, getting those buffs. And so my question is, with these skills, can i get a major protection buff (to replace my flare) that also does something else like a debuff or a heal maybe something like that? The major part of the protection is important. Thanks again!
You can already get Major Protection on Cro from the other morph of necrotic potency. The morph Deaden Pain gives you 4 seconds of Major Protection and 2 ultimate per corpse consumed. You also get a decent heal that scales off max health.

I have a question. Is this scribing thing a must for maxing out my damage in PVE content? Will I be left out or with a considerable lower damage compared to my scribed skills? I am considering to buy the latest DLC but do not care much about any new content besides scribing. Because it got me thinking, if having scribing puts me in an easier position with more advantages compared to non-scribing builds, I might have to buy it.
Scribing has no use in endgame pve dps if thats what you are asking. Some skills are commonly used by tanks or healers though mostly to fill up buffs/debuffs the group comp lacks otherwise.
Once you finished the scribing quest on your main toon, wil the drops start appearing on all your toons after doing dailies OR just the toon you finished the scribing quest on?🤔
Macabre Vintage just confuses me. Didn't they just kill Plaguebreak that did essentially the same thing? Anyway, I know a lot of people think that. But a serious question: Without asking for spoilers, are the Scriptorium quests affected by other people being in the instance? For example, I hate doing a lot of new quests because half the encounters simply aren't there, because someone else has killed the enemy in the last 5 minutes. So I usually wait to do them, but with scribing, I want to get the rewards ASAP.
It is really nothing like plaguebreak. Looks good on initial viewing, but the constraints on it just make it kind of meh everywhere. Still the likes of Azureblight, Rune Carver, and Sul Xan on trash packs.

I have not unlocked all scribings, but the ones I have unlocked is not good at all, im abit disappointed. It should be like ultimates, but for every scribing ability I tried to create, there is always a better "normal" skill which is kind of doing the same, just with alot more damage or healing... - also one skill is giving you 1000 stamina over 10 sec, but cost you 2300 stamina? WTF? Shoulden't it has been giving you 10.000 stamina? Else it don't make sense. Isn't there any good scribings? Something with +25k dmg over 20 sec and 20k direct damage or even poison damage to counter the lack of poisen damage from other skill lines than bow. Just something usefull will be nice??
Sadly, you actually completely missed the best skills in this video. There are some suoerb(almost essential) combos for healers and tanks, with some good utility combos too. Imo, the best set in this expansion is Lucent Echoes. The dot set seemed to kind of underperform. It was not needed in lower content and had no place in higher content.

Only grind skills and scribes once on one character and then can buy whatever you have already collected with 10k gold on alt characters.. so only grind once

ESO is an embarrasing bugfest that ZOS doesnt care to fix as long as you keep shoveling money at them. You cant even pvp in cyrodiil cause the lag spikes will eat your inputs. This game is barely more than the failure fallout 76 was, and by the same people. Don't waste your money on this horrible game WoW is better
who care about scribing if there is 0% to die.... Game is so booring and easy that im newer use block or sneak or heal 90% of game can be complited by warden pet......

I'm coming back to ESO for Gold Road. Haven't really played since the Morrowing xpac and I'm pretty freaking excited.

the dolmen events. like the ones people run in alikir to level up. each zone has its own type of world event. some time dolmen. sometimes gysers, etc

All of them. But you have to do the intro quest on each toon to be able to scribe with it.

5th set piece a monster would a werewolf or vampire in pvp be considered a monster??
Generally no, they make the "monster" distinction to ensure these sets don't work in PvP.
That last skill is going to be huge for pve tanking, infinite minor brittle.
Also the duo daggers ability is a good buff for nb bombing in pvp
also loved the easy access to AOE pull for tanks on the first skill (soul burst) that will be fun!
How do I know the collection or grimoirs or scripts I unlocked and what I don't have?
So dumb that ZOS created the Macabre Vintage set when they could have just left Plaguebreak the way it was....

Yea I use smash for taunt and DoT even if it ain’t aoe but my setup is doing much DoTs so mobs come after me.
