@@sneaky314k Mhm. I can really think of very few bosses where it would actually be useful, and even then, those bosses tend to literally spam you with debuffs, so it's not like it would have helped you much.
@@sneaky314k I was pondering Agnea when I saw it say that the user’s magic stat gets attributed to damage with the cane attack. Agnea doesn’t hit as hard as Ochette as a ranger, but damn she does still do good with a physical attack.
She sat on the bench for most of my game, but she can be downright broken if used right. A Step Ahead + Full Power + Boost-Start will give her the first turn in battle with 2 BP. Defend that turn, and she is the first to act in the next turn with 3 BP. Full boost, activate latent, Medicinal Concoction, Pomegranate Leaf x3 + Diffusing Serum + Strengthening Serum. Boom, your entire party has 5 BP and no items were consumed. Or, to let your entire party act before the enemy with 4 BP, Pomegranate Leaf x2 + Whimsical Leaf + Diffusing Serum + Strengthening Serum. The only thing that makes it not so great is how most of the other characters are also broken. Ochette and Hikari can easily clear out random encounters by themselves in one turn, particularly if paired with Temenos and Throne at night.
I didn’t like Alfyn too much (more because I didn’t like the character himself) but apoths are honestly so op. Probably the most underrated units in Octo to most players
Well, it's a solo run so I managed to use just the items I needed to complete the 100% except boss & superboss ofc + some of them are farmable (Forbidden Elixirs & Refreshing Jams)
