As trivial as it sounds, as a woman I wanted to have a starting female protagonist in this game and was thrilled to find that they’re all actually viable characters with amazing abilities and cool backstories. Once I learned about all the characters I didn’t want to limit myself to a female and couldn’t choose any one character. They’re all awesome and I’m sure everyone can find a character that they really love and fits their playstyle. I started Throné because her story vibed with me not in situation but in emotion. Her abilities are not amazing but with a secondary job and the right team she does amazingly. I am glad I had her for the early game because he story is awesome but her damage output does decline. Once unlocking the secret jobs there’s one that suits her great. I made teams for magic/elemental and physical output and then a couple of support characters. There’s so many options with this game that you can easily take your favorite character and use them even if their base stats aren’t the greatest. With the right job, skills, equipment, and team, you can make anything that suits your tastes and play style. I’m more physical damage over elemental and I’m still trying to learn how to best use my support characters to their best abilities. Castti has been sooooo perfect for an amazing support character that also hold her own. Playing through her full story and slowly gaining abilities helped me learn to better use her on a team and as a support. I think out of all of them, the one that makes me the happiest is Ochette. But there’s no wrong answers. Some are better at things than others but with nuts, secondary jobs, gaining jp for all the jobs and then using the right equipped skills and equipment… you can make any team you want work.
Sealiticge's Seduction -> Temenos' max boost prayer for plenty makes every boss 10× easier. Ochette's ex skill after her final chapter will also break just about anything at all. Just keep her sp up with castti's concoct and sp increasing gear. Also if you can catch a chubby cait, her max boosted ex skill will give you crazy buffs, like complete invincibility for a turn. Spam it 😭 I used Castti's drastic measures for damage. Armor corrosive + Shackle Foe + attack up on Castti = big damage. Ochette's chubby caits can also increase that damage by giving the enemy a debuff too...
The composition I've loved a lot was by using Hikari as my main, and turning him into an absolute tank who can take hits with his incite ability, then having temenos as the healer/scholar, Throne as my fast, evasive debuffer, utility, and Ochette as supplementary damage and support abilities via her monsters. Night battles are so easy for the party, and we have no problem grinding. But it's scary how much our damage suffers if we end up fighting during the day lol. I'm enjoying the game a lot!
My team is actually coupling 2 Crossed Path team Osvald/Partitio/Temenos/Throne : Magic based team. Temenos and Throne just mean quick night strolling, Dancer Throne helps Sealctige Temenos' Prayer of Plenty if needed, Scholar Partitio helps supplying quick Alephan on Osvald and/or Temenos while the 2 just nuke everything. This team also has 2 people with summon allies as well to cover basic buff/debuff. Hikari/Agnea/Castti/Ochette : Physical team mostly, Sealctige into Castti's Remedy followed by Agnea's Song of Hope is broken. Hikari just munch all those uberbuff and whack everything, while Ochette can help as breaker, debuff and deals considerable damage as well.
The Throne + Temenos combo has made a lot of bosses pretty trivial for me. Go in at night, and all you need to do is break the enemy by turn 3 ( very easy with Tem's LP and Elemental Barrage) and then Throne casts Aeber's Reckoning for 50k-80k damage. Multiple ending chapter bosses were essentially one-shot this way.
@@versus023 At night, Temenos lowers their defenses for 3 turns, while Throne buffs your team's attack and speed for 3 turns. So without even using any items or other setup you will get able to cast Aeber's Reckoning on the last turn of those effects, which scales off both attack and speed. So as long as you break the enemy first (and have the Deal More Damage support skill) Throne does easily over 50k damage. And the other part is that if you make Temenos a Scholar, the Elemental Barrage attack combined with his Latent Power is very effective at breaking enemies by turn 2-3 since it attacks up to 8 times at full boost and each hit will reduce a shield point regardless of weakness.
@@versus023 you really have to stack all the speed you cna get on throne for this. So I'm using 2x +80 spd Accessoires + better Accessoires support skill, every gear that has spd on it. Mine has now reached around 800 spd at lvl 75 and his broken bosses around 84k (with battle tested blade).
I enjoy the cast of this game in general a lot more than the Travelers in the first game, both as characters and in battle, and it's great to see a wide variety of viable builds and team comps avaliable For the curious, my current main team is Hikari, Agnea, Castti, and Thronè (I picked Hikari as my first and did not regret it for a second)
Talking damage: My throne hits unbroken enemies with 50-90k at night first turn. I never managed to either do sth close with Hikari or ochette. Use temenos + throne for buff + debuff, use throne latent swift step into thief divine skill. (mine has 750 speed). I'm still kinda mid to late game but clear most CH. 4 and secret (conjure) bosses in 1 or 2 turns. For this it's recommended to break them first by using temenos boosted latent elemental barrage and Hikari arms master sixfold strike turn 1 and finish with throne on turn 2/3
This is a late game ability you get but Sealticge Castti and then use max boosted Remedy 9 random buffs to all is so incredibly fun and there can be some broken stuff you can get (like divine skills)
Interesting that the two teams that cover all path actions you highlighted are just the travelers split by the continent you first meet them on. I think this was clearly planned!
I think a strong piece of advice for players prepping for the two instances where you need all 8 travelers is to know how you want to build them because you are going to want a strong attacker on each team for the super boss(maybe 2 for part 2 of that fight because it punishes you for letting it go on for too long).
I definitely recommend Elemental Barrage from the Sorcerer job if you want to Break with Temenos’s latent power! On full BP it has the chance to hit 6-8 times. Getting BP Boost and Full Power on Temenos so he can coerce everything in every city is super useful for those more threatening enemies And aw… is there really no way to get every path action other than to use the 4 travelers from separate coasts? That’s fine, but kinda lame! I hated going to the bar every 5 seconds to switch characters in Octopath 1, so I just decided to do a 4 man team and stick with it. Just finished the stories for the east coast travelers, now it’s time to finish the West. The east coast were no brained to start with too, having Inquire and Steal is so nice when you wanna cheese path actions. Honestly I feel like Osvald, Temenos, and Throne are such a powerful starting team because of their path actions + night boosts. I’m hoping that the west coast group is amazing as well! Agnea seems really useful, her Wind AOE being one of the few wind AOE attacks easily accessible really makes me like her a lot. I was hoping to mix the east and west coast travelers for more access to AOE Wind and Dark stuff (so Agnea, Castti, and Throne) but maybe that’s not for me if I hate not having all path actions available at once lol
Agnea is great with one of the secret classes that offers dark and light elemental spells. There's a two moves where she can heal hp or sp of the entire party based on the damage dealt. It's incredible as a support.
@@craig581 I’m using the west coast units after completing all the east coast unit stories, so I am using that class on her and I love it! She’s like Osvald but for Wind, Light, and Dark. Super useful
I think all characters should versatile enough to make it through the game,if leveled up enough, should be able to achieve 100%,after all, the game makers wouldn't have put them in. They all have different unique abilities, but I think overall, any character combo should suffice...I started out with Throne'
Late to the party, but I'd like to share my own experience with OT1. I formed two well-balanced teams of 4, finished the first four character's story, and then... quit the game. I simply didn't have any interest in levelling up from scratch the other fours, even though it was made much easier because of item and subjobs access. When you have a fully levelled team, it isn't really motivating to restart with four level 5 characters... So for OT2, I'll follow @TheOneandAli 's suggestion and swap members around. Imagining new party comps is also fun!
My general recommendation is to have 1 power class (hunter/warrior), 1 magic class (osvald lmao), 1 utility support and whoever’s story it is. Late game against optional bosses have a cleric or cassiti for healing. Also 2 small tips for those who are new to octopath, I’d recommend starting with the warrior as they are the only character who’s chapters are designed around them being on curve (reccomended lv) while you can carry every other traveller with a strong team. Also late game I find the apothecary to be the best general class as the limit of resources just goes away after a point.
@@ZeShado that’s fair, my current endgame team is Hikari, Osvald, Agnea and partitio. Most fights are just the two supports giving the two damage dealers as much bp as possible while using Agneas broken wind ex skill to always make sure they go first and can get their damage off
By apothecary you mean castti. Apo class is whack, but concoct is just broken. With that talent you don't need any other support at all. Just give her full power, latent power plus, boost start and you'll be golden
Legit been ignoring all my other games and systems and have been playing this game everyday since! I didn't even play the 1st one this much when it came out and barely even finished it! 🤦🏾♂️
Before watching this, I’ll share my builds Spoiler warning for secret jobs 1. Throne - Hunter She’s my protag and not the best in combat, and I don’t really use her debuffs much (you’ll see why). However, surprise attack deals a surprising amount of damage and Aebers Recogning is always a heavy hit. As for why Hunter, greater weapon options and Hunter Debuffs. 2. Ochette - Armsmaster My favorite traveler, I went around and explored nearly the entire map before doing most chapter 2s. This means I was very over leveled, as were Ochette’s beats. I had 3 boss beasts (post getting the ship) before doing most of the story, including one that deals a ton of damage to all enemies and debuffs them (looks like it would be particularly weak to Seraphim). So most of the time I am slinging beats around. However, having every weapon type from Armsmaster and the complete Lost Tribe series with a Blessing in Disguise makes her weapon attacks disgustingly powerful. The only Armsmaster skill I need is the 6 fold strike because that is a massive nuke that is also great at breaking. 3. Cassti - Dancer Buff bot who doesn’t use buffing skills. I’m mainly using her as a source of healing and her concoct ability which is amazing. I wanted to make her a mage but her magic is lacking. However, giving her the dancer class allows me to obtain what I think is the most broken thing in this game…… oh and she poisons, that’s good 4. Partitio - Arcanist Mwuhahahahahahahahahah MWUHAHAHAHAHA RUNELORD TRESSA IS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE I slapped Partition in the team solely because his latent skill is bloody absurd. Being able to get an instant 5 Bp is soooooooooo good. As well as it recharging at the start of every battle. I use this in 2 ways. Fire off instant Belphagor’s Bounties on rando enemies to be rich (combined with the Apothecary passive +30% Hp and Sp after every battle). And the second way, ohoho the second way. Turn 1, Difusing Rune Turn 2, max charge sidestep (made possible by Ochette having Head Start from the Inventor class) Turn 3, either latent skill into max charge sidestep oooorrrrr Cassti uses Dancer divine skill on Partitio allowing reflective veil to be given to everyone. Now the whole team can autododge 4 physical attacks and reflect 4 magic attacks. All in 3 turns. He can also diffusing seal into Rest to act as a healing and Sp battery or just spam Blessing. It’s such a good set up that I’m sure the true final boss will somehow completely shut down, but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts Oh and my main team is currently level 78 (Cassti is level 70) and the other 4 are level 45. I’m at level 35 recommend level for the next chapter I’m about to do. I’m having a blast breaking this game wide open.
Changes I have made I made Throne a scholar, not because her magic is really good, mainly to have magic coverage because I realized I was lacking there. Also I did Aeber’s recogning against a final chapter boss with Deal More Damage and did 30,000 damage. So daaaaaaaang it’s a better hit than I realized. So she is general coverage and support with a break nuke. Also, I have opened my eyes to Donate BP. I’ve realized that it’s better to just throw BP on Ochette than to attack if I don’t have his divine skill ready. Ochette breaks foe, Partitio Latent skills into 2 charge donate Bp to Ochette, then use the last 2 to Befigan’s bounty nuke.
I agree Partition is probably the most insane arcanist. Seal of diffusion just makes sidestep and rest amazing. I prefer Hikari for vengeful blade for the lulz tho
I do suggest spending a little time on Warrior with Throné just to get Deal More Damage, go back to Hunter, max out her speed, and watch Aeber’s Reckoning become a screen nuke
I disagree with Osvald not having synergetic prowess with other jobs. Although it's by any means a WHOLE lot synergetic, it HAS made a significant difference in damage, support and a breaker: Armsmaster. That damn staff ability combined with his high intellect, on boosted broken foes, I was hitting about 30k~40k per hit. Completey had him stay as Armsmaster all the way until the final boss. 100% SP recovery as well! Not really much for team utility other than his elemental coverage as a breaker + all the physical weapon weaknesses. He stood as the backbone as my breaker, mage, and damage dealer. That said, it dow require some team building around him, but not a whole lot really. He was still flexible to play with anyone regardless if the team is not built around him. Physical attack wise, not much needed nor practical of course, and the job becomes useless for him for a certain Superboss.
Good video, the path action piece is something I will consider while building my party. Just one friendly suggestion: you could maybe slow down your speech tempo a little. There was a lot of detailed information you were providing but it was challenging keeping up as once you finished one point you were on to another, particularly when you spliced another voice clip in after your last point. Slowing down a bit may help slower people (like me :-D ) keep up with you. Otherwise good, informative video.
I agree with him you talk to fast and for alot of people they could fast forward if they need to but you want to speak to your audience not read from a script as fast as you can we want to retain the info but when u talk fast were just trying to keep up
i use armsmaster hikari, inventor partitio (using full power and basically being a break machine so i can do good damage w/ hikari), arcanist osvald, and cleric castti i really like buffing hikari and then oneshotting everything with shinju
Ochette can also be used as a bp battery while also debuffing and buffing. This can be done with ochettes glitch to summon 6 10-strenght monsters. You can buff your attack with gigantes. You can debuff enemies with Tyrannodrake. For bp you can use Battle-Worn Shark. You can also easily brake shields with scourge of the sea (Breaks 6 shield points no matter what weakness the enemie has.) If you need time you can also use Manymaws (gives sleep, poison, blindness and confusion to enemies. It also stacks so you can summon 6 manymaws for 9 turns of sleep). What i most of the time do is: 1x Tyrannodrake 1x Gigantes 2x Scourge Of The Sea (bosses) 2x Battle-Worn Shark my support skills for ochette are: Full Power Vigorous Victor A Step Ahead Boost-Start items dont matter nothing skills with monsters (that i know of)
@@yummieplays no with the glitch you only have have 3 BP to summon 6 monsters of 10 strenght. with ochette glitch the 10 strength monsters will be seen as normal monsters you can summon normally. So there is no limit, you can summon 6 times any 10 strength monster mulitple times as long you have 3 bp
@@yummieplays btw to do this glitch you need ochettes divine skill. (you would to have fully done her story quest) Her divine skill lets her summon 6 times.
My fav was Agnea with Step Ahead (Inventor Passive) + Windy Refrain on turn 0; then, any character with Boost Start (Merchant Passive) is almost guaranteed a 3 BP action on turn 1 before enemies can act!
Step ahead is broken imo as the extra turn 0 let's everyone start with max boost on turn 1 (using boost start support skill) I like to use it on temenos to break boss shield turn 0/1
osvald deal the most magic the game in the game but requires many set up. while the second best magic user is temenos for his ultimate attack that deplete his entire sp but dealt massive magic damage with no set up needed. hikari is even crazier whether its single target or multiple targets. he just murders at max damage with no set up needed.
I know there are much better constructed teams but I’m determined to use Hikari, Osvald, and Ochette on one team…so I’m just wondering is it better to use Castti or Agnea at that 4th support member slot?
Personally, I would say Castti is the better slot in, given that those 3 are all high DPS characters, Castti can provide the party with nigh-unlimited BP using Pomegranate Leaf + Diffusing/Strengthening Serum, this allowing Osvald to unlock Tier 3 Spells as much as he wants, or Ochette to use her 10* characters fast. On top of this, you can give her the Dancer job for buffs. My Castti personally has A Step Ahead, Boost Start, and Full Power to freely give the party 4BP at the start of all combats. Agnea has plenty of utility, but in a party as BP hungry as Os, Och, and Hik, Castti is in my opinion the better option.
@Raymond Diaz If you need, you should be able to buy unlimited pomegranate leafs at the black market. It's in New Delsta Flats, to the right of the Anchorage. If you go there and look around you should find 2 tables, make it night and keep changing the time from day to night until you get the Merchant who sells Concoct materials. Unlimited BP makes putting you teams strategy together an absolute breeze.
@Yub Depends on what your purpose for Thronè and Temenos are. I'll act under the assumption that you're making temenos your main healer and Hikari as your main DPS, but Thronè functions well as either a debuffer or a DPS, so if you're using her as a debuffer, partitio would function better as a DPS/Buffer hybrid, while if you're using Thronè as a DPS, Castti or Agnea would function better as Buffers. Agnea can use her latent for all kinds of moves, not just damage and basic buffs so she can be good. But if you're just looking for a hard BP/SP battery Castti is the way to go.
The turn order graphic at the top of the screen still kinda baffles me. 90 hours in and I'm still like "is the guy on the left next, or the guy on the right? Oh, it was neither of them..." As much as I like to try and work out say, who to give BP to etc, the turn order never seems to line up, so I just consider, "what single action can this guy do, this turn, that will most benefit us overall?"
Hi, great video ! If we do not have certain characters in our team, can we still do the combos presented thanks to secondary jobs ? (Ex : merchant class giving PM to others)
For the most part, it should be possible to replicate a lot of the combos presented in the video through secondary jobs. The only thing you'll be missing out on are the personal talents and latent powers that make the process much easier, but otherwise, it should be fine!
There are so many odd combos to discover. Example 1: I had Partitio fairly early (3rd team member), and just because I felt it suited him, I gave him Apothecary as a 2nd job, with no real thought. Well, the Apothecary. ability "Sweeping Cleave" in Partitio's big damage hands turns out to be an AOE monster that brute-forces whole groups of trash, high critical rate even against wrong shield types. Example 2: I started with Throne and gave her Inventor, just because I found it and didn't know really about jobs, so why not. Throne already uses swords, and Catapult (AOE sword damage) costs no SP. Again, in the hands of a damage dealer like Throne, this too becomes very powerful - and cheap. Only need it once a fight, so rebuild doesn't matter. So, just by chance selection, Throne and Partitio like that, with Osvald as Scholar/Cleric (again because it seemed a natural fit), just swap in as 4th member whomever you're levelling, or chaptering. I bet there are heaps of cool combos folks have discovered.
If you’re familiar with the gameplay of the first entry, you’ll find it to be fairly similar. That being said, I always found the gameplay loop to be quite enjoyable and with this entry in particular, they took more liberties in telling more fleshed our stories. So, I’d probably recommend it.
Scholar Hikari is actually goated due to the fact that he can easily get access to skills that no one else will ever get. Personally, I found a npc with a 3-hit fire single target which was perfect because Hikari can already hold two weapons that boost fire damage.
Great videos 🙂 Small suggestion, if you do go ahead and make the subjob vid, you could afford to talk slightly slower - it's a lot of information to take in 😄 Thanks for making such information-rich content 👍🏼⭐

Multiple ending chapter bosses were essentially one-shot this way.
This.
care to expand a bit on this ? im curious and not recall to have heard about this in the video
I enjoy the cast of this game in general a lot more than the Travelers in the first game, both as characters and in battle, and it's great to see a wide variety of viable builds and team comps avaliable
For the curious, my current main team is Hikari, Agnea, Castti, and Thronè (I picked Hikari as my first and did not regret it for a second)
For me, it's Temenos, Hikari, Throné, and the 4th slot is for whoever's chapter I'm doing, though it's usually Ochette.
Really warmed up to them after getting my hands on the game.
Hikari is a beast
😊
Talking damage: My throne hits unbroken enemies with 50-90k at night first turn. I never managed to either do sth close with Hikari or ochette.
Use temenos + throne for buff + debuff, use throne latent swift step into thief divine skill. (mine has 750 speed). I'm still kinda mid to late game but clear most CH. 4 and secret (conjure) bosses in 1 or 2 turns. For this it's recommended to break them first by using temenos boosted latent elemental barrage and Hikari arms master sixfold strike turn 1 and finish with throne on turn 2/3
This is a late game ability you get but
Sealticge Castti and then use max boosted Remedy
9 random buffs to all is so incredibly fun and there can be some broken stuff you can get (like divine skills)
And then Agnea can Song of Hope it.
Interesting that the two teams that cover all path actions you highlighted are just the travelers split by the continent you first meet them on. I think this was clearly planned!
I rather like to use throne, castti, Hikari/temenos and agnea tho for path actions
Arcanist Partitio is Runelord Tressa 2
Great video! I love learning stuff about Octopath Traveler 2 as it's my first Octopath game.
Same! Last game I played like this was "Mario superstar saga".... Boy was I missing out on a great genre.
I think a strong piece of advice for players prepping for the two instances where you need all 8 travelers is to know how you want to build them because you are going to want a strong attacker on each team for the super boss(maybe 2 for part 2 of that fight because it punishes you for letting it go on for too long).
Started with Hikari. Then gained Par. Then Cas. All said in your vid thus far is true. Can't wait to continue. Thanks a mil. 😊
I definitely recommend Elemental Barrage from the Sorcerer job if you want to Break with Temenos’s latent power! On full BP it has the chance to hit 6-8 times. Getting BP Boost and Full Power on Temenos so he can coerce everything in every city is super useful for those more threatening enemies
And aw… is there really no way to get every path action other than to use the 4 travelers from separate coasts?
This video was really helpful! (I’m really enjoying the game so far, and my lead is osvald, the rest of the team is Partitio, Agnea, and Hikari.)
That’s a generally good balance. I personally love my BP batteries lol
@@ZeShado that’s fair, my current endgame team is Hikari, Osvald, Agnea and partitio. Most fights are just the two supports giving the two damage dealers as much bp as possible while using Agneas broken wind ex skill to always make sure they go first and can get their damage off
Do you have any subjob recommendations for that setup or do you shift subjobs based on who the fourth character is?
By apothecary you mean castti. Apo class is whack, but concoct is just broken. With that talent you don't need any other support at all. Just give her full power, latent power plus, boost start and you'll be golden
Legit been ignoring all my other games and systems and have been playing this game everyday since! I didn't even play the 1st one this much when it came out and barely even finished it! 🤦🏾♂️
Tememos with elemental barrage goes crazy
True i buffed him with His elemental boost ability and agneas dance for elemental and IT IS really nice
Fully boosted temenos + latent power + elemental barrage = broken Boss
Before watching this, I’ll share my builds
Spoiler warning for secret jobs
1. Throne - Hunter
She’s my protag and not the best in combat, and I don’t really use her debuffs much (you’ll see why). However, surprise attack deals a surprising amount of damage and Aebers Recogning is always a heavy hit. As for why Hunter, greater weapon options and Hunter Debuffs.
2. Ochette - Armsmaster
My favorite traveler, I went around and explored nearly the entire map before doing most chapter 2s.
3. Cassti - Dancer
Buff bot who doesn’t use buffing skills. I’m mainly using her as a source of healing and her concoct ability which is amazing. I wanted to make her a mage but her magic is lacking. However, giving her the dancer class allows me to obtain what I think is the most broken thing in this game…… oh and she poisons, that’s good
4. Partitio - Arcanist
Mwuhahahahahahahahahah
MWUHAHAHAHAHA
RUNELORD TRESSA IS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE
I slapped Partition in the team solely because his latent skill is bloody absurd.
Turn 1, Difusing Rune
Turn 2, max charge sidestep (made possible by Ochette having Head Start from the Inventor class)
Turn 3, either latent skill into max charge sidestep oooorrrrr
Cassti uses Dancer divine skill on Partitio allowing reflective veil to be given to everyone.
Now the whole team can autododge 4 physical attacks and reflect 4 magic attacks. All in 3 turns. He can also diffusing seal into Rest to act as a healing and Sp battery or just spam Blessing.
It’s such a good set up that I’m sure the true final boss will somehow completely shut down, but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts
Oh and my main team is currently level 78 (Cassti is level 70) and the other 4 are level 45. I’m at level 35 recommend level for the next chapter I’m about to do. I’m having a blast breaking this game wide open.
Changes I have made
I made Throne a scholar, not because her magic is really good, mainly to have magic coverage because I realized I was lacking there.
@@tristanbowles7258 what weapons do you have did you get all the divine ones?
@@Everydaymoves I have 5/6 of the divine weapons, missing the Lance. I wouldn’t call them the best weapons in the game tho
Thanks for the advice! I figured talking faster would help with the flow of the video but I can definitely slow it down a bit lol
I agree with him you talk to fast and for alot of people they could fast forward if they need to but you want to speak to your audience not read from a script as fast as you can we want to retain the info but when u talk fast were just trying to keep up
I found the tempo to be just fine
i use armsmaster hikari, inventor partitio (using full power and basically being a break machine so i can do good damage w/ hikari), arcanist osvald, and cleric castti
i really like buffing hikari and then oneshotting everything with shinju
Temenos can best break with elemental barrage imo so scholar
Temenos support? Evil laugh- he's my armsmaster for the sheer fact he can break enemies with his multi hit latent skill combo.
You can also easily brake shields with scourge of the sea (Breaks 6 shield points no matter what weakness the enemie has.)
If you need time you can also use Manymaws (gives sleep, poison, blindness and confusion to enemies. It also stacks so you can summon 6 manymaws for 9 turns of sleep).
What i most of the time do is:
1x Tyrannodrake
1x Gigantes
2x Scourge Of The Sea (bosses)
2x Battle-Worn Shark
my support skills for ochette are:
Full Power
Vigorous Victor
A Step Ahead
Boost-Start
items dont matter nothing skills with monsters (that i know of)
How does that work? She needs 3 BP for every monster she summons no?
@@yummieplays no with the glitch you only have have 3 BP to summon 6 monsters of 10 strenght. with ochette glitch the 10 strength monsters will be seen as normal monsters you can summon normally. So there is no limit, you can summon 6 times any 10 strength monster mulitple times as long you have 3 bp
@@yummieplays btw to do this glitch you need ochettes divine skill. (you would to have fully done her story quest) Her divine skill lets her summon 6 times.
This video killed my grandma
What?
my condolences
Hope she gets better soon
I see the singing killed my grandma meme struck again
Curse you Agnea
My fav was Agnea with Step Ahead (Inventor Passive) + Windy Refrain on turn 0; then, any character with Boost Start (Merchant Passive) is almost guaranteed a 3 BP action on turn 1 before enemies can act!
Step ahead is broken imo as the extra turn 0 let's everyone start with max boost on turn 1 (using boost start support skill) I like to use it on temenos to break boss shield turn 0/1
Temenos scholar elemental barrage legoo
osvald deal the most magic the game in the game but requires many set up. while the second best magic user is temenos for his ultimate attack that deplete his entire sp but dealt massive magic damage with no set up needed. hikari is even crazier whether its single target or multiple targets. he just murders at max damage with no set up needed.
@@vallisroyeaux4979 your incredible!!! Thank you so much 🙏🏼
@Raymond Diaz If you need, you should be able to buy unlimited pomegranate leafs at the black market. It's in New Delsta Flats, to the right of the Anchorage. If you go there and look around you should find 2 tables, make it night and keep changing the time from day to night until you get the Merchant who sells Concoct materials. Unlimited BP makes putting you teams strategy together an absolute breeze.
@@vallisroyeaux4979 id like my main team to be throne temenos and hikari, what should I put it as 4th ? I thought one between partitio agnea or castti
It highlights the graphic when you hover over the characters while selecting
Castti as an element mage is underrated.
How I'm playing octopath 2 is:
All girls team (finish all their stories first)
then
All boys team (finish all their stories)
How can you do the 2 man team if your prota is lock?
Nevermind, you just need to finish the main story of the character you 1st chose.
Hikari is a blue mage lol and can master any class
So basically, west coast team and east coast team
Clark Helen Allen Edward Young Laura
Hi, great video ! If we do not have certain characters in our team, can we still do the combos presented thanks to secondary jobs ? (Ex : merchant class giving PM to others)
For the most part, it should be possible to replicate a lot of the combos presented in the video through secondary jobs. The only thing you'll be missing out on are the personal talents and latent powers that make the process much easier, but otherwise, it should be fine!
Is there a time where I'll be forced into combat, in day or night, where I would need a team for it?
Outside of a few specific story instances, you'll be able to dictate what time you enter battles.
How much grind the game has?
Haven’t picked up the game yet, how much would you recommend it in terms of gameplay for someone who played the first Octopath Traveler?
If you’re familiar with the gameplay of the first entry, you’ll find it to be fairly similar. That being said, I always found the gameplay loop to be quite enjoyable and with this entry in particular, they took more liberties in telling more fleshed our stories. So, I’d probably recommend it.
@@ZeShado Awesome, I'm glad that they tried to be more ambitious with the story this time around! Thanks for the info.
Honey badger don’t give a shit
Scholar Hikari is actually goated due to the fact that he can easily get access to skills that no one else will ever get. Personally, I found a npc with a 3-hit fire single target which was perfect because Hikari can already hold two weapons that boost fire damage.
Great videos 🙂 Small suggestion, if you do go ahead and make the subjob vid, you could afford to talk slightly slower - it's a lot of information to take in 😄 Thanks for making such information-rich content 👍🏼⭐
Hikari’s whack.
Agnea and Castti are too.
