hi, I have a problem with a Panasonic lumix S5, if I use the touch screen for a moment it blocks the camera and doesn't let me enter the menu, if I press on the display I see that the camera takes control but it doesn't allow me to perform any operations via touch , in your opinion the problem is the display or the main motherboard.
@@DIGISERVICEBG Hi, let me explain, the two symbols referring to slot 1-2 flash on the LCD when the SD cards are not inserted. When I press on the LCD, these symbols freeze for a few seconds and then start flashing again. After I press on the LCD, if I try to Entering the menu straight away doesn't let me in, I wait about 10 seconds and then the menu is immediately available again, have you had a similar problem? how did you solve it
Hello sir, do you have experience with a Panasonic DMC-G7? I'm trying to replace the LCD. I can get the unit off, but I can't remove the LCD from the back cover.
How to completely remove and put back the motherboard of S5? There is this extra ribbon cable behind the motherboard and it seems like it's impossible to remove the motherboard completely without disassembling the buttons at the top of the camera. That ribbon cable doesn't exist for Lumix S1. So, I was so surprised that it's actually more complicated on S5.
same here. Were you be able to find one? I'm having hard time removing the motherboard because of the some extra ribbon cable behind the motherboard that's tethered.
@@Dave-cp4ce nope my camera needs a lot of work it’s probably not worth fixing for the cost. Stabilisation dead flash mount dead photo mode dial dead internal mic dead. And sometimes when you turn on it switches off unless you hold it sideways! I mainly use as a b camera sitting on a tripod recording no issues at all.. but I think it needs the top section of the camera replacing as it was dropped?! But is it worth sending somewhere to fix?
