Hi, thanks for the video! I found an extra cheap replacement dial listing where the metal plate is not included. Do you think it's possible to transfer the original plate to the new dial? Or is it safer to pay double for the whole assembly
I took a risk and ordered the cheaper replacement dial without the metal plate. It took some time to figure out how to move it from the original to the aftermarket one. It works and it's doable, just need tweezers to carefully bend the pins
thankbyou so much for showing this. I was able to replace the roller on my gx9 as well!! But I have a new issue, after I put everything together the flash don't fire anymore. Camera system recognizes when the flash is up or down, but it is not triggering the firing. I connected everything as it was supposed to be... what do you think is the cause of this issue? Thank s a lot again
It's possible that you didn't discharge the components in the flash, which might have caused the issue.
Is anyway of fixing this? I didn’t know the flash component s needed to be discharged;(

have you replaced an sd card reader on one of these? i got a replacement on ebay but the legs for the mounting points seem too short, the 9 main pins are lined up though. ive bought and returned 2 of them already, any thoughts or help?

Try "GX80 dial"
When i put my eye to the view finder. The view finder doesnt turn on and I can see anything. Did I not connect something right?
Make sure the large EVF connector is well inserted. I thought it was well inserted, but then used tweezers to really put it in. Hopefully that helps.
