Woah! I watched the film, Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot. I remember it being very real and emotional. I didn't realize that song you did for my last Season was his. What an amazing artist and story. Thanks for enlightening me to it and for your ever inspiring art and music of your own!! I'll be sending something your way soon too... not a prize from this Season, but just a lil something.
Thanks for listening, Mr Gildons. I think this song is about the songwriter's struggle with alcoholism. Some of the words/lines don't make sense but they might be fragments of something personal. He had an experience at the Catholic school he attended that made him turned to alcoholism at age 12. A car accident left him wheelchair bound. He stopped drinking at age 27. You can see his cartoons online. I only just heard the song minutes before i recorded it. I love it.
Beautiful performance beautiful song and beautiful paintings
Thank you for your comment. Very much appreciated.
Beautifully sung and illustrated, joo. Thanks for the backstory too, as it provides insight to this song, and more.
Thanks for your kind words Cody. The paintings were for something else i did years ago. They are in my phone so i used them.

Thanks so much Mitch. This is a new one to me. He was quite amazing.
You have made me want to investigate John Callahan. Lovely stuff, Joo and I love the illustrations ... especially you on the bus!

I can't stop to listen to this song, it is very suggestive and I try to understand the meaning of the mysterious lyrics, mysterious to me anyway :)
