  • Understanding what goes into vacation rental cleans can help understand the value of each clean and the staff providing the service. In today's video, I give a breakdown of how our cleaners go about providing our services to help paint a picture of how much work actually goes into Airbnb cleaning.

You are 100% correct. I have 1 client right now and it’s her personal property and she was cleaning it before so she definitely understands all that goes into it and didn’t even question my price and on the other hand I have people telling me my prices are too high

You are so right. I've been fighting with this for the past 6 months. I'm too particular when it comes cleaning. I earned that pay. If you want quality business, you're going to have to pay for it. Or do it yourself.

After listening to your video, I'm thinking of considering residential because Airbnb cleaning needs a lot.

@@milatheehostkeyper the thing is I don't like ppl watching me and most residential they'll be home so that's why I wanted Airbnb because the host won't be there

Do you suggest to use turnoverbnb for leads? Why or why not?

I do not, first cause they dont endorse me. Second because, I dont think their service is a quality one.

That's my issue. I'm researching to get started and can't figure out my pricing especially as a new business. I want to do Airbnb, small personal offices & vacant move in. I don't want to charge too low but don't want to stop my bookings by charging too much. With the laundry, I am wondering if I should include or charge extra for it. Any tips. Thanks for responding

You have to charge what you are worth. What happens is a lot of host complain that prices are high for cleaning, but if you ask a residential cleaner, they will say the price is too low for the workload. So you have to explain to the client their benefits for working with you, but what is even better is if they can see it in your operations. Most of my hosts value that they dont have to worry about anything on the cleaning front. Secondly, volume of business is important with short term rentals. If push comes to shove, get my course coming out May 1st and I explain how you can make money with your pricing. Or book a call and we can talk about what you are doing now and how we can get you to profit.

@@milatheehostkeyperyes I say away from vacation rentals , I do more for less money compared to my residential clients. 3-5 hours of work I can go east make 300-400 without washing laundry, etc .
