I’m due with my 6th baby in April and I so agree with you. The more babies I have the more I declutter and see that we really don’t need much! Plus the simplicity is worth the peace of mind!
Me and my wife found out she was pregnant 4 weeks ago and we’re very excited, I have been watching many videos from what you need for newborn and how to make baby food but I still feel overwhelmed with needing so many items for first time parents but this helped a lot
Congratulations! You guys will get the hang of it, sometimes it just takes actually being in the midst of it finding what works for your own family and what doesn’t. I’ve heard many of my friends LOVE the baby cuddle beds that make newborns feel snug. But with clothing and toys. They really need minimal basics when they’re 0-6 months old:)
The jumper and seat are bad for their hips and back - there's a different seat called up seat that is pediatric approved that does the same thing but is good for their development. I love how minimal this video is, thank you for all the recommendations!
The jolly jumper and bumbo aren't good for hip development. An upseat is better if you absolutely need something. 💗❤️ Just wanted to spread awareness 😊
Lol my name is marisa too!! Im pregnant with my 3rd, due in june! ive bought almost nothing for any of them because im so lucky to be passed on so many things from other moms that they didnt need. There is a 13 year age gap between my first and second and i was nervous about how much id have to buy but got lucky and didnt have to get much at all, my sister excessively buys things for my niece who is 6 months older than my daughter so we got an excessive amount of things from her plus other people, i think people love passing on baby things lol because we still get things offered to us. I havent bought anything yet for my 3rd, but got rid of tons of things i knew i didnt want lol. I want new bottles for her because the brand we used for my 2nd leaked really badly, and i need to get a carseat for my 11 month old so we can use the infant one for the new baby and then we need a double stroller because we walk almost everywhere and the babies will be so close in age. We also want to get a toddler bed for my 11 month old. Besides that i dont think i need to really get anything else. After your first baby you figure out how little you really need lol. My sister passed on my nieces clothes to my daughter and had roughly 10 garbage bags full per size, we kept about a diaper box full per size and passed on the rest. I am shocked how many clothes people buy their babies, and honestly i think a diaper box full per size is a little much anyways considering how tiny baby clothes are, i just wanted to be sure they would last for both girls and have a variety of seasons since it can be any temperature here lol. But even if you arent given a single thing babies dont need to cost much, you can find tons of things second hand from various places and dont need to buy every little thing they make. You also dont need everything at once, if you need to pick it up as you go the world wont end lol. Idk about australia but a lot of things ive gotten were made very cheaply and fell apart, but knowing that and items having such a limited lifespan anyways i decided not to purchase those items for the next baby(baby swing, bassinet, walker). Im taking a break after this one is born though, back to back pregnancies are exhausting for me, i cant believe you had 7 babies in that 10 yr time span i would die lol. No hate i just dont have that kind of energy myself lol.
2 with one due in sept. The biggest issue we have is car seats. We have a smaller hatchback. We have a booster, forward facing and now baby carrier. Ugh 😩 it’s hard configuring these.
I am sorry, but what is minimalist about all that staff? First of all, babies do need their own nursery and cot. And some of the staff is just unhealthy for babies.

Great ideas, I didn't have the bambo or jumparoo. My baby had a swing or floor time, he had about 7 sleepers and he was done
I loved them to keep Bub in a place cos they always crawl around my grubby floors 😭

It’s super difficult with smaller cars especially a hatch back I can’t imagine! There’s definitely a gap in the market for smaller safe car seats
First baby due in July. ❤️ I’m only trying to get the essentials for her
congratulations 🥰
Thanks this was a blessing ♥️
❤️
Love this video! ❤❤❤
