We need an amazing Kyle Rayner to spend either: 1. The Blackest Night movie getting approached by the different rings and going through the emotional spectrum mastering each one 2. In the TV series spend a season just following his ascent to being a true White Lantern Where the ending of the first part is Blackest Night, where he finishes that journey much like Infinity War was Thor’s journey to building Stormbreaker but being too late. Then the Brightest Day movie could be DC’s Endgame. Gotta sit down and think further about how the layout would look, lol. We NEED this storyline to come to the big screen, finally. Fingers crossed!!

Timeline Idea: Kingdom Come happens, all the superheroes except green lantern corp die, then you go into Blackest Night and they're resurrected as Black Lanterns in a movie that's Infinity War/Endgame crossed with a zombie apocalypse survival movie on an intergalactic scale.
They did have the after effect of the Kingdom Come story in Arrowverse. Though, it would have been nice for them to show more than just a few crumbs that they did show.
The New DC universe is suppose to be the Earth-22 or the Kingdom Come Universe if I understand correctly. The hope is to build to the Kingdom Come storyline as the first finale.
Blackest Night is a story I would love to see made into a movie. But it's also a story on the scale of endgame, which would need a lot of time and a franchise to build up to it to do it Justice.
These stories would require a lot of build up. These very advanced level stories. Phase 3 level. Currently they're building phase 1. For those I think the current all star superman and reverse kingdom come works. For Batman the Damien Wayne story is a fresh start. For Green Lantern I think doing the earth 1 adaptation as a set up and introduction is great start. For Wonder Woman the themescyra storyline about how Amazon's reproduce in new 52 and Diana having a falling out with the Amazons is a good start. For Flash I think Flash facing a Reverse flash inspired by the snydercult haters is a great start. To finish it off Martian Manhunter & his post crisis origin works well where he's a runaway from Martian civil war which leads into a first justice League movie having to deal with white martians. For Hawkgirl her being a Thanagarian infiltrate on earth as a cameo in all the other movies just to set up this plot twist is great and/or a movie about her running away from through centuries and Vandal Savage trying to hunt her down
I would also love to see a Battle for the Cowl movie. That would take place after the potential of a Blackest Knight movie. Finally giving us a live action Dick Grayson as Batman
My wish is for the DCU is to take inspiration from Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons to their already slated tv series, Paradise Lost. That mythological origin story of the Amazons is perfect for establishing the Greek gods and how they took part in creating The Amazons of Themyscira.
I agree with the entire list - those are some dope stories. My only issue is the production, which producer in all of superhero movies DC/MCU can we trust to not mess up?
DC could chain three movie trilogy Sinestro War , have Blackest Night once Green Lanterns are weakened, then follow up with the White Lanterns. Better if they're willing to have two supporting stories between them that they(DC) know are less likely to do as well.
I'd be afraid if I heard DC was going to put out a movie for Kingdom Come. Captain Atom gets split open, they'd have to put out 10 good movies to put me at ease. Same with Blackest Night.Good list, anything with the Crime Syndicate,Earth 2.
They have to introduce Jason Todd correctly first, before "Under the Red Hood" done right. I have always thought that the name, Erinyes, was such a great, cool name
DC animated movies have been great since Superman/Doomsday. Hopefully we get more. Even better hopefully that finally comes together for the big screen movies.
I really want to see Jason Todd and Tim Drake. Maybe even Barb and Stephanie Brown. So i say do the Bat Family as cameos in JL movies. Duke Thomas too. No Damien tho. Outsiders. Outlaws. Adapt those stories for the big screen. So many stories never get any limelight
I would love to see the DCCU to do a movie on one of my other favortie Batman story of all time, Batman The Black Mirror. Having James Gorden Jr. in The Batman 2022's universe could be really interesting and have a great story between the reationship with Gorden and his son. Gorden talking about how he feels about his son to this verson of Batman could lead into alot of cool ideas.
Two that I'd choose are JLA: Tower of Babel and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Absolute classics that both involve a heavy sense of betrayal and team distrust
Blackest Night is a whole different universe level event in itself.
It should be used to restart the universe. So, probably the 3/4 Justice League movie.
This way, you can return anyone who was killed.
No😂 i dont and will never like big events ro just use it to restart shits. Make it an elseworld story ffs@@mnsega

Superman vs the Elite is the perfect time to do it with all the evil/dark Superman clones in recent media.
For Hawkgirl her being a Thanagarian infiltrate on earth as a cameo in all the other movies just to set up this plot twist is great and/or a movie about her running away from through centuries and Vandal Savage trying to hunt her down
'DARK KNIGHTS OF STEEL' ..
Y’all are just saying any story
Trinity of Sin. I know it would never happen, it’d piss off so many people, but Trinity of Sin was amazing
I would also love to see a Battle for the Cowl movie. That would take place after the potential of a Blackest Knight movie. Finally giving us a live action Dick Grayson as Batman
For Under the Red Hood, we know that James Gunn is planning Batman Brave and the Bold with Damian as Robin. Plenty of room for Jason Todd built in
My wish is for the DCU is to take inspiration from Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons to their already slated tv series, Paradise Lost. That mythological origin story of the Amazons is perfect for establishing the Greek gods and how they took part in creating The Amazons of Themyscira.
A version of Dark Knights Metal under James Gunn would be incredible
I agree with the entire list - those are some dope stories. My only issue is the production, which producer in all of superhero movies DC/MCU can we trust to not mess up?
We live in a crazy timeline where the two best DCUs are the Timmverse and The Harley Quinn show. I cant wait to see the movies take off one day
If you didn’t assume Blackest Knight would be Number 1 on the list then turn in your Rob Core ring
I want to see Blackest Night/Brightest Day as the Endgame of DC. Build up to it by having various heroes die in different movies.
Another great episode, I totally agree on these. If I may offer two gems
Action Comics 544 and yea Identity Crisis
DC could chain three movie trilogy Sinestro War , have Blackest Night once Green Lanterns are weakened, then follow up with the White Lanterns. Better if they're willing to have two supporting stories between them that they(DC) know are less likely to do as well.
The Batman Who Laughs, The Three Jokers, Crisis On Infinite Earths, and Emperor Joker
Honestly, Batman One Bad Day is still the one id love to see. Riddler has always looked pathetic, but that story is ELITE
It all sounds good. Gonna check them out.
If done right, Blackest Night and Brightest Day could easily be the Infinity War/Endgame of the new DC movies.
Imagine if the green latern series is laying the ground work for either the Sinestro Corp War or Blacknest Night
I'd love to see all of these. I hope DC doesn't let us down.
Batman: Under the Red Hood needs to be released in theatres. Its still aged so good.
Two that I'd choose are JLA: Tower of Babel and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
Absolute classics that both involve a heavy sense of betrayal and team distrust
