Yesterday I bought the previous version on sale in my country (Spain) for 700€, since LG don't sell the new update and I doubt it will come out at the same price that the old one. There are other external sellers who sell it, but very expensive ( + 1000 €) ... Do you think I made a good purchase or should I wait for the new version to be released? Cheers!
It depends on how you find the brightness levels on the previous version. In my opinion, the new version has brighter display and better sub pixel layout so I would wait; But since you got a good price on the previous version, it may not be worth spending more. Either way, OLED is awesome 🔥
I bought it last Thursday in Amazon Spain at 833, guess at that price is good. It arrived yesterday and I'm still doing some tests. Also we have at 800 the Asus XG27AQDM but it comes with glossy panel.

it's weird that the screen doesn't come with a plastic screen protector pre-installed to peel off during unboxing .. I wonder why LG decided to ship it that way ..
Wait you said it doesn't notify you for pixel clean and just automatically does it after 4 hours of use? So does it just cut off or does it only do it in standby?
Amazing monitor, design, backlight, I enjoyed controlling the monitor with the controller. Unfortunately, in absolute silence, the monitor fan made strange disturbing noises. Exchange for another piece was not possible, as it was not in stock and availability was unknown. The MPG 271QRX QD-OLED was available, so I paid extra and took it. The 271QRX doesn't have a fan, which is great. I am satisfied, but being lg 27gs95qe-b without a fan, or if it was at least not audible, I would not change. Anyway, nice review.
If I don't play, I don't know about PC (custom loop liquid cooling). And that's thanks to the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM. I think the picture is better with 271qrx. Probably also thanks to the non-matte surface. I only play games in the evening. When my daughter is already sleeping, so I don't notice any negatives. During the day, I don't have a large light source behind me, which is said to bother qd-oled. I don't like the stand on the 271qrx, LG has a beautiful one. I believe that for most people the fan will not be a problem and they will enjoy the Lg 27gs95qe-b as it is otherwise great.
Hello, Does anyone know what the difference is between a LG UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE-B and a LG UltraGear OLED 27GS95QX-B? Has the QX any advantages because it's a bit more expensive?
The razor speaker is hooked up with USB-C cable. My PC has a USB-C input, but if yours doesn’t then you could get a USB-C to USB-A adapter. I’ve only used this temporary though until I got dual speakers 🔊 I appreciate the feedback 🔥
@@Voltar78 You want a speaker that has an AUX input (PS5) + USB or RCA to 3.5mm (to PC) The speakers that I now use for both gaming setups are the NZXT RELAY Speakers (AUX + RCA) and the Edifier G2000 that I use instead of the Razer soundbar. You can see on my most recent upload, the Edifier G2000 is used during PS5 gameplay
There’s definitely a huge difference in size, and the latest C3 Oled is very tempting with its price so I understand the tough decision 😅 Since your desk isn’t big, a 27-inch or even a 32-inch monitor would be a better choice in your setup. You also want to consider lighting, since the matte display on the LG 27 will be better in brighter environments. The oled TV will by far give you a better picture quality because of the glossy display and it also has good built in speakers 🔊 it’s not 100% PC friendly, but if you’re only using console, then it is a better value if you have the space for it.
Same reason why almost all monitors have matte coatings, it deflects light sources the best. If you don’t havd lighting control, and let’s say you get a lot of sunlight coming into the screen, the matte makes it easier to work versus a glossy screen.
I don't remember too much, but I'm right now I'm testing the 32GS95UE and I always prefer using SDR for FPS because you can always adjust the black levels making it easier to see
Amazing review! Thinking about buying this monitor, however I am also planning to use it for PS 5 gaming and you've mentoned that 4k monitor would be a better experience for it. So I'm in doubts now. It's not going to be my main reason buying that monitor as I am also going to play on PC with this that guy, but still. So I'm think either buy this monitor, or 32 4k IPS. And yes, I also working a lot at home, but you said ultra-wide is more profitable. I think I want too much from one thing and I need to consider which one to buy xD
It’s tough 😅 if you got space then get 2 monitors one optimized for productivity, and the other for gaming. But if you have to choose a do it all, I would personally choose 32-inch 4K or a 49-inch Super UltraWide. I think GPU plays a role in the decision factor as well, since you’ll want a strong PC for 4K unless if you plan on downscaling I really appreciate the feedback 🔥 there’s just so many options so I feel you in trying to find the one you want
I have one on ps5 and my last monitor was 4k so it transferred the 4k resolution to this monitor in the settings. It gives me a message that it recommends to change it but I have not yet. But it looks absolutely insane compared to the 4k acer predator I was using which also looked great but this is much better
@chrislopez5301 makes sense. I changed it to the recommended settings and it didn't seem to change the resolution. Either way this monitor looks absolutely beautiful in comparison to all the others I've tried so far. I've had probably 20 top of the line monitors in the past year but none looked like this. With the exception of the Samsung 49 oled which is just not ideal for console with the aspect ratio for me.
Unfortunately the really long stand (depth) makes this monitor incompatible with my setup, since my top shelf only has nine inches to actually place on. Bummer. But, I’m also going to use this mainly for office use, so maybe OLED in general doesn’t make sense for my situation. Gaming would obviously be phenomenal on this though
Update! I was able to completely remove the top shelf, which makes my setup now compatible with this monitor? The question is, is it worth the dough ($729)?
It will definitely last 3 years or the manufacturer will replace it under warranty, but whether it will last 3 or 5 depends on how often you use it and how correctly. Any OLED panel takes some getting used to, no matter if it's a phone monitor or TV you should always be careful with them
I didn't try out 60Hz gaming on PC, the only game on this video that was 60Hz was Astros World (PS5) and I didn't notice ghosting, but its also not a fast action game so I can't say for sure
This is my second setup, I used what I had at the moment. Trust me it bothers me too lol Check out my other recent monitor videos and you’ll see my main setup 🔥
I have this monitor as a vertical side monitor, i use a samsung 43 inch Qled tv as a main monitor, somehow I feel like the colors on the samsung are more punchy, when ever I look at the lg monitor I feel like there is this red tint to the color, i like a cooler color, been in the menu cant see how to adjust that.
do you game on console?? one key difference between the two is that the Asus doesnt not have HMD 2.1, so it will not take full advantage of todays gen of consoles. if u are only on pc, then either will do fine
I tried using direct lighting to showcase how the light diffuses it. Take a moment and look into my latest 39GS95QE and 34GS96QE reviews. I made a better effort to include bright room, sunlight, and extra lighting.
Yeah I realized that a little too late. My shotgun mic has a safety channel feature and was enabled the whole time I recorded part of the footage which was causing the audio to go on the left. I am now aware of this feature 🥲
Need help with LG 27gs95qe I just picked up this 27 inch 1440p OLED. Out of the box settings are not it, but I can’t seem to change them? I can only select preset modes and can only edit the brightness. All other settings are greyed out as well as the reader preset. I’m on ps5 and I am using the hdmi cord that came with the monitor and it’s plugged into hdmi 1. Thanks in advance for help.
PS5 has HDR enabled all the time that is why you can't change the settings. Disable HDR in PS5 to change the settings, although I wouldn't recommend doing it as HDR is the main reason people buy OLEDs.
merci pour cette vidéo je chercher une vidéo de ce genre pour me conforté dans mon achat xD j'ai hâte de le recevoir voir ce qu'il propose ( je viens d'un écrans 1440p 165hz VA ) donc j'espère ne pas être déçu
Thanks so much for this review! I have one quick question about this monitor - i often heard that last years model supported 4k downscaling where if, for example, you set the ps5 to output 4k then the monitor could accept the 4k input and downsample it to a sharper 1440p than it you were to directly output 1440p from the ps5 (as an example). I just want to confirm if this years model actually removed that feature?, given I noticed that when you showed the ps5, you mentioned the console actually wanted you to change its output to 1440p in the console settings instead of letting you also output 4k as an option and have the monitor automatically downsample it like last years model could do. It'd be a shame if this feature was removed in this year's refresh because having 4k outputs downsampled to a sharper 1440p image on the screen can be a great feature, and i haven't found any official info anywhere yet highlighting the removal of this feature from last years model. If you'd be happy to double check and confirm if it's been removed or not, id be so grateful thanks! Regardless, thank you again for the great review!

If you want the best in a dark room, then I would recommend 27" AW2725DF QD-OLED for 1440P, but I will be reviewing the new ROG GLOSSY XG27AQDMG which might be better in the dark. These are both 27" 1440P Gaming Monitors. For 32" 4K, the AW3225QF is great in the dark. You might also like the 32GS95UE as well, these are all monitors that I have reviewed so far
Its an issue with every oled just not a big one there is ways to prevent burn in to the point that it is highly unlikely. For example use wallpaper engine to have the pixels change colour regularly, hide the windows taskbar aswell as the icons. In short you should be fine as long as you dont have any static pictures or icons on the screen for to long

So if I’m using it on ps5 should I have vrr on or off because I heard this monitor has a lot of noticeable vrr flicker and if off how would that affect input lag? Usually play mw3 btw.
VRR won’t change the input lag. MWIII has a lot of changes in FPS so I would suggest keeping it on to keep things smooth and not have stutter. So you will definitely see flicker in the menus mainly. It’s either you get stutter in gameplay or VRR flicker in the menus. I think it’s more important to have smooth gameplay.

Very tough decision i need help.
it's weird that the screen doesn't come with a plastic screen protector pre-installed to peel off during unboxing ..

does it have the same display panel as in 32GS95UE-B or it is older model?
No, the 32GS95UE-B supports 4K, 480Hz, and is 32".
The 27GS95QE-B runs 1440p at 240Hz and is a 27" monitor.
Thanks man. You convinced me to get this monitor.
"Does NVIDIA DLDSR/DSR work with this monitor? It does not seem to work with Samsung's G6 OLED, which is why I'm asking."
Wait you said it doesn't notify you for pixel clean and just automatically does it after 4 hours of use? So does it just cut off or does it only do it in standby?
Only in standby or when the monitor is off. You’ll know it does it when the monitor first turns on there’s a little pop up that says it was completed
Thanks for the unboxing
By the way, you can use any LG TV remote and it works with this monitor
Thanks for the feedback 🔥
And thanks for sharing that tip ! I didn’t think it did, but makes sense since the remote could also control LG TVs lol
Seriously?

Amazing monitor, design, backlight, I enjoyed controlling the monitor with the controller. Unfortunately, in absolute silence, the monitor fan made strange disturbing noises. Exchange for another piece was not possible, as it was not in stock and availability was unknown. The MPG 271QRX QD-OLED was available, so I paid extra and took it. The 271QRX doesn't have a fan, which is great. I am satisfied, but being lg 27gs95qe-b without a fan, or if it was at least not audible, I would not change. Anyway, nice review.
I don't notice fan noise on the monitor because my PC fans are always on. How is the MPG 271QRX compared to the LG

Hello,
Does anyone know what the difference is between a LG UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE-B and a LG UltraGear OLED 27GS95QX-B?
Has the QX any advantages because it's a bit more expensive?
How do you have that Rzer sound bar hooked up? Bro you deserve many more followers, love your channel brother.
The razor speaker is hooked up with USB-C cable. My PC has a USB-C input, but if yours doesn’t then you could get a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
I’ve only used this temporary though until I got dual speakers 🔊
I appreciate the feedback 🔥
@@FIREWOLFTECH I wanna hookup the ultragear GP3 sound bar, will I be able to do it on this monitor? Thanks again
I don't know much about that soundbar, but it being an UltraGear Soundbar should be fully compatible
What speakers set will be compatible with pc and ps5? @@FIREWOLFTECH
@@Voltar78 You want a speaker that has an AUX input (PS5) + USB or RCA to 3.5mm (to PC)
The speakers that I now use for both gaming setups are the NZXT RELAY Speakers (AUX + RCA) and the Edifier G2000 that I use instead of the Razer soundbar. You can see on my most recent upload, the Edifier G2000 is used during PS5 gameplay
Does it have a dirty screen affect? Pls respond
Which Brightness Settings do you recommend for HDR ? High?
I don’t know if i should get a 27 inch monitor or a 42 ich oled tv which is cheaper btw. I play console but my desk/room is not that big.
There’s definitely a huge difference in size, and the latest C3 Oled is very tempting with its price so I understand the tough decision 😅
Since your desk isn’t big, a 27-inch or even a 32-inch monitor would be a better choice in your setup.
Is this the latest generation of oled panel from LG?
Why they do mate coating? It would be a perfect monitor if it only had a glossy finish.
Same reason why almost all monitors have matte coatings, it deflects light sources the best. If you don’t havd lighting control, and let’s say you get a lot of sunlight coming into the screen, the matte makes it easier to work versus a glossy screen.
seems like they fixed the brightness issue over the old model
Would this be better then the LG GP950 4k?
Which HDR mode you prefer? Did you notice that the blacks are crushed on Gamer 1 mode?
I think GPU plays a role in the decision factor as well, since you’ll want a strong PC for 4K unless if you plan on downscaling
I really appreciate the feedback 🔥 there’s just so many options so I feel you in trying to find the one you want
It’s not a better experience. Either 1440P you unlock 120hz. Hope you didn’t listen
I have one on ps5 and my last monitor was 4k so it transferred the 4k resolution to this monitor in the settings. It gives me a message that it recommends to change it but I have not yet. But it looks absolutely insane compared to the 4k acer predator I was using which also looked great but this is much better
It doesnt transfer that not how it works some 1440p monitors can recieve 4k signals its just downscaled better to play at 1440p native
Just picked one up. So far so good. Anyone know how to change the battery on the remote?
hey Wolf, great review. Im going to exchange my GR for the GS after watching your video. BTW- what software are using for your wallpapers?
Wallpaper engine on steam is really good
Unfortunately the really long stand (depth) makes this monitor incompatible with my setup, since my top shelf only has nine inches to actually place on.
Awesome ! Glad you found a way to make it fit ! I think its a great 1440P OLED monitor 🔥
hello dear friend! this monitor will be able to work for 5 years or OLED monitors are designed for 3 years ?? of course I’m worried about burnout
It will definitely last 3 years or the manufacturer will replace it under warranty, but whether it will last 3 or 5 depends on how often you use it and how correctly. Any OLED panel takes some getting used to, no matter if it's a phone monitor or TV you should always be careful with them
Did they fix the ghosting issue while gaming at 60Hz on this model? I know that was an issue with the previous monitor.
I didn't try out 60Hz gaming on PC, the only game on this video that was 60Hz was Astros World (PS5) and I didn't notice ghosting, but its also not a fast action game so I can't say for sure
You need to get some speakers, not just a misplaced Razer soundbar...
This is my second setup, I used what I had at the moment. Trust me it bothers me too lol

Biggest problem with OLEDs is brightness and the review didn't show the panel in a bright room/sunlight
I tried using direct lighting to showcase how the light diffuses it.
Take a moment and look into my latest 39GS95QE and 34GS96QE reviews. I made a better effort to include bright room, sunlight, and extra lighting.

For some reason I only hear your video on the left side of my headset, but good video thanks!
Yeah I realized that a little too late. My shotgun mic has a safety channel feature and was enabled the whole time I recorded part of the footage which was causing the audio to go on the left. I am now aware of this feature 🥲
For Warzone on PS5 is this perfect or 4k would be better? For competitive advantage I mean, 1440p is the perfect spot right?
i wouldn’t play 4k for competitive, you lose fps when you move up in quality. leave 4k for immersive non competitive games

How do I maximize 120fps in my LG monitor and PS5 settings?
Need help with LG 27gs95qe
I just picked up this 27 inch 1440p OLED.

How’d you get rgb to work with the console?
Thanks, helped a lot
It does my man!

when you look at it close, it has a fuzzy look to it. If you want something as clear as possible, I did a video on the AW2725DF, that has a glossier panel .
In my opinion the matte isn't distracting after you give it time to get accustomed to it. I notice it immediately because I switch from screen to screen
Im thinking about getting this monitor coming from a AlienWare AW2720HF... I dont know a lot about monitors and need help making a great decision on my next purchase. I want a OLED 1440p or 4k with 240-360HZ That will be the best in a dark room for WarZone... The cost dont matter because whatever it is ill save up ,if its worth it. Any Suggestions.. (Graphics Card is AMD TUF-RX6900XT)
I think you'll get the most performance out of 1440P monitors with your GPU
@FIREWOLFTECH thanks, I needed that info. Appreciate u.
Is it the same screen as 32GS95UE but smaller and without 1080p/480Hz mode? Or are there any other differences?
I have the same question.
What about the burn-in thing?
