Thank you for your question! The frame comes pre-drilled. If there is no stud behind your acrylic walls, you will want to use the anchors supplied in the hardware strip. We recommend not drilling into the base. The majority of our doors are sealed to the base with silicone, with the exception of our heavy glass frameless doors, which we do not advise putting on acrylic bases due to their overall weight.
Nonsense. However else are you going to rigidly secure the bottom of the the fixed screen? In any event, a simple but properly applied silicone bead will ensure no water causes problems in the first place. Personally, I'd lay the channel on a small silicone sealant bed - paying particular attention to the screw holes. All that said, there is no way I would have such a high and wide upstand as it is an invitation for water to puddle and potentially cause problems. A mounded shower base would eliminate this issue and still allow for good connection to the fixed and moving glass screens and would facilitate entry and exit of the shower, especially for the elderly or infirm.
This video does a great job, and every step comes to the point. Thanks for sharing

Awesome now you have a leaky shower, good job fellas. You should never drill into the curb. Silicone or not
