No ones asked on any channel that’s reviewing this item. I literally just purchased it and got it delivered today. My question is can it be used with PS4. Now I did a good amount of research prior to deciding on this model. There’s several other sound cards and mixers on Amazon that physically mentioned they work with console gaming. Those were on the cheaper side like $30-$40. But I did locate some closer to this price point and looks very similar in terms of capability and functionality so I still decided on this one due to the incredible reviews and basically crossing my fingers that even though console streaming was never mentioned on this device that it still would work. Can someone please confirm with me. In the meantime I’m going to try and figure it out. I’ve already connected to my DJ/music producing platform and works flawlessly
@@andresluna351 oh sorry thanks for reminding me. So last night I hooked it to my PS4 pro and streamed on my twitch channel and it works flawlessly. I do want to add that the mic that comes with the kit is terrible and I’m not sure if it’s only because or it being on the PS4 because when I connected everything originally to my desktop to my mixing program the mic was ok. But as for PS4 every feature works flawlessly live streaming or not live streaming. I stream directly from my PS4 , no capture card or anything. But what I ended up doing because I’m unable to use my normal usb JLabbs mic I decided to just use my mic from my Logitech Pro headset but this specific headset is a 3.5mm aux connection which typically connects to a sound card usb then that plugs into your console or pc. But I already had a 3.5mm female splitter to individual 3.5mm mic & 3.5mm headset which is the only way to use your headset for audio monitoring and the mic on you headset. But I just so happen to have owned several hundred headsets so I’ve got multiple adapters. I also did my research and prior to receiving this kit I ordered sum usb female to 3.5mm aux adapters sense my mic and headset are usb and this kit doesn’t have usb connections. But Amazon has every adapter known to man for cheap. I’m sure it works with Xbox as well. It’s definitely worth it. I really enjoyed Changing my voice to a babies voice or female voice while I was playing the game and messing around with other players on my team it’s extremely easy to record your own little presets and erase them I mean it’s great it’s definitely worth it

I really need help. I am using the MaonaCaster lite mixer. I need to be able to hear the audio track already on the dashboard so that I can do a voiceover on top of it. I have the headset plugged into the mixer along with the mic as instructed. Yet, the only sound I can hear is what I am saying into the mic and I cannot HEAR the other tracks. What gives? I have both my input and output settings to the mixer because both the headset (output) and the mic (input) are there. I just dont understand! Please help!

Also if you want xlr you could go with it’s brother it’s a bit thicker and battery operated as same but it also has thantom power aswell as 6.3mm jacks in the xlr slots it’s a two in one so if you wanted you can have a mic and a sound producer as well

I am having a issue setting mine up. I want to have my phone calls sent to my computer with this so i can record them. I want my computer sounds and the person i am calling come through my head phones. Is that able to be done with this. Any help would be great.
just bought this device, worked great first 20 min. I was able to use podbean and go live, and it captured youtube, the mic, and my phone . then it stopped. I tried disabling the onboard sound on my laptop, rebooting, and upgrading firmware. has anyone had this issue?

quick question. It does not seem to allow you to hear your PC (via the USB-C or any other form) without the monitor slider turned up which is pretty annoying because I would not want to hear my own mic constantly while streaming. Is there any workaround?
hmmm, that isn't the case for me. The 'music' knob seems to adjust PC volume. The monitor fader is just to hear the mic inputs in headphones. Are you sure you have it setup right?
@@demonicsweaters definitely, if I connect only the USB-C and my headphone and mic, then I make sure to select both for input and speaker the maono on my PC. And then I make sure to turn down the monitor slider to 0. After this it doesn’t matter what where the music knob is, I cannot hear anything. Is your computer sound brought in via USB to your maono board?

If you count the headset input it has 3 mic inputs. However it does seem like most of the pod/outputs are also in/output jacks like the headset, so it's possible you MIGHT be able to plug 4 gaming headsets with mics in at once, though I have never tried that.
This thing has been giving me problems i am a streamer, i got it in october, been using it for months, im back to using just OBS studio, with NVIDIA broadcast and plugins for obs to level out my voice. because, when i use the maonocaster, its just a external soundcard, there is no software for it, it hooks up usb or Bluetooth, yes it has all those options. but even with just one condenser mic , with pop filter and or mic cover. you cannot use Realtek with it, everything just goes through this software less cheap but ambitious external soundcard with a echo / volume slider , the auto toon stuff, is cool. the nobs, for mid , bass, and treb, all work fine, and it has a record level nob, i plug it in, brand new pc , new wires, if i play a song , or even do more then 1 thing using sound, it pops and crackles, like it can't handle the input of the sound option you are trying to use, voice/game/music/on mixer sound effects , i just doesn't have a stable sound quality, overall, i feel like if it had something to manage all the inputs, or a software for the driver interface it would be a lot better, because i am not using it anymore, i was gonna buy a different microphone, but i don't know, i feel like since you can't use XLR plug in it has to be converted to the 1.4 inch that factors in, i plugged my iPad, my tablet, "separate" times, to have music playing just to test it, there is a input for that in the back, i start recording or streaming and its cluster fuck sound of shit, i really want this to work. i wonder if the regular version is better, i would buy that one if your going to buy one. if you really wanto buy this, it was made for only voice and pod casting, not meant for handling stream sound work. i had a customer service issue ordering the thing even from the beginning, now, note: i really liked this item, and was impressed with the packaging, and everything it came with, how it is suppose to work, but they had a deal where you pay 99 instead of 89$ equaling 20 plus that for shipping so 110 or 120 for the moanocaster light, you get a headset , and mic for free with the bonus deal. they screwed me over with that, i was suppose to get the second option, i made my order over the phone, they only sent me the 89 dollar deal, and didn't even do what i ordered, so that was a big problem. i was suppose to get a microphone for 20 bucks with a code for the site, after i enter the shopping cart, and enter discount, it has been months, they still to this day tell me blah blah blah, Angela, keeps telling me bullshit.
I've been looking at this as something I could use to do a few different things like stream or for all the different voice chat stuff I have to do. But I'm kinda hoping I can use it for some trombone recording. Been using a good quality usb mic but it's hard to really see when I'm clipping or control the mic when recording via something like Soundtrap. Hoping this might work.

ok YOU CONFUSED THE HECK OUT OF ME!! I just want this thing to work on OBS for my streaming. I've hooked it to my PC and made a new source but I still get no audio through my microphone. Can you help me with that? I push the sound effect buttons and that I see move on my audio slide but the microphone doesn't work

You did a great job. You missed the electro button that can change you voice to the scale on the bar. Check it out under the low mid high dials.

I thought that when I first opened it, but the mic it comes with sounds great though, so there's no real need. Also, it keeps it very small this way.
yeah, probably. You can also plug in gaming headsets, or earpods right into the headset jack, and headphones and mic both work!

the mic it comes with is 8th inch, so it won't matter much. But this is geared far more towards podcasters, not music.

You can do that with your built-in sound card already. You just need a program that allows you to overdub like Reaper.

The workaround is to plug your speaker/headphone into the output of analog/usb PC port

What mic are you using? This is intended for the non-phantom powered mics
