Would have been nice to hear one of the bigger reasons: that people don't finish their prescription. They take it long enough to see results and then stop before the prescription can fully work which allows the bacteria to become more resistant....

"allows the bacteria to become more resistant" isn't really the best way to put it. Rather, the ones that are more resistant to the antibiotic is able to survive. This means they are able to continue to reproduce, making the stronger bacteria more prevalent. Natural selection and evolution at its best .-.

Medical science needs to radically change the way we treat bacterial infection. The idea of Antibiotics as we know it today, needs to be completely changed in a REVOLUTIONARY way if we are to keep up with our little friends.

I like this video! People need to start eating all organic foods, for this problem to stop being a problem. Because people who eat all organic foods; don't get sick.

All organic food does not make you a super-human who is immune. I'm not denying the benefits, but that is an unrealistic extreme

FieldMarshallRommel1945 Well it was overdone of course. :D But eating organic food from birth can prevent getting sick from all modern mankind diseases, because they are artificially made (the diseases that is)

I read a news article a month back that discussed what people think about drinking antibiotics and why its not good to rely on them so much.... I felt a bit sad when ALL OF THEM, I shit you not, but even a lady that works at our local pharmacy say, "Your body will get used to it and it won't be effective"....
People even said stuff like, "I only use antibiotics until i feel good. If there is a few more days left, I ignore it"
    ... sigh....

nothing is said about strengthening our own immune systems through diet and lifestyle changes... nothing is said about natural antibiotic herbs, extracts, tinctures and foods. this is very incomplete.

Prescribers and consumers of medicines cannot use antibiotics appropriately if they do not have access to reliable, independent information and knowledge on antibiotics. In developing countries, they are dependent on promotional material from drug companies, whose aim is to make people use *more* antibiotics so that they can make more profit.
