My Laos wife got really excited. Don Det, Don Khon & Don Tan part 2. 4000 Islands, Southern Laos

Part 2 of our trip to the 4000 islands in southern Laos. I catch a big fish on Don Tan which really excited my Laos wife. Along with more travel around Don Khon and Don Det. Laos - Simply Beautiful.

We called those big worms scrubbies or scrub worms great for big Red-Fin in the Murray or any of the lakes etc. Well done on the catch, we used to catch carp by the dozens, not allowed to throw them back so dispatched and buried. Otherwise flies everywhere.

My Lao language skills are very limited but Puna and Bibi have picked up English well and help me out big time. If you do get there and spend time there I’m sure it will soon become your 2nd home. Cheers mate, Craig

My Lao friend in Vientiane is from the south, been to his place in the 4000 islands a few times. Took a small boat over to Cambodia and saw the Irrawaddy Dolphin's perhaps 10 yrs. ago and enjoyed an Angkor beer. lol
